Well maintained. Flat paved spaces. Not too close together. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

We travel full-time so we are well-acquainted with all types of RV parks. The office staff was very nice from the very get-go. They were happy to receive mail for us in advance of our arrival, which was a HUGE plus for us; we didn't have to worry about receipt of a very important delivery! The site was easy to back into; there was ample space between rigs and plenty of parking for our sizable pickup. We didn't have to level because the site was already perfectly level. The grounds are quite clean and nice and the park is very quiet overall. Our dog loved the walkway that was close by and easily accessed. There are plenty of dining, shopping, and fuel options close by. We will definitely stay here if we return to this general area. read more

Nice enough park. I'm not sure the spaces are adequate to support big rigs and trucks. Apparently, we are expected to park on the side of the dike. read more

For being in the city, this is a nice spot. Clean and quiet with all the amenities. Laundry that only costs $3 to wash and dry and takes 1.5 hours from start to finish. Clean (somewhat dated) bathrooms. 2 clean, hot showers for each gender, trash services, a nice walking trail that leads to a playground, nice staff, host on site. There were a few cons. Our cement pad wasn't quite level and a lot of water pooled up right where we had to walk in/out and to/from our car. Thankfully we were only there during 1 rainy day. Also, less than 24 hours after arriving, black sugar ants showed up which we've never had an issue with in our RV. For the entire week we were there, they were there. The day we left, they were gone. And I only saw 1 lone ant afterward, none to be seen again. So... the ant issue must have come from here. In spite of that, I would stay again in another spot (I was in spot 26). read more

We are retired and have been fulltime RVers for five years. We stopped here for a medical appointment in early 2020. Then COVID. So we've stayed for about 18 months, leaving this week. We have no kids, no pets, and no extra vehicle. Just our truck and a 40 ft fifth-wheel. We were placed in #132, on the south side of the park. Plenty of room, but I wanted my Sat. TV, so we moved to #124. The office people have always been very cordial and helpful. No issues. There are two laundry rooms, both are well-maintained. Their maintenance crew is great. But this park, built in the 1950s or so, is not a haven for kids. However, there are many around and everyone seems to get along just fine. The park is about a mile from a Safeway, Wilco, Target and Starbuck's. We have stayed in other area RV parks, but will always choose Brookhollow when we are in the area. For us, it's perfect. read more

I tried to stay here on June 2016 and they said no children no matter how old they are! today I was visiting a friend at the apartment across the street. I parked on the street side of the rocks they put out to line their property. And the old man came out and wasn't polite at all. he yelled at me "you can't park here." I suggested that you should put a sign on this side of the rocks saying no parking. he got even angrier and turned into to a fifth grader and just repeated everything I started say. after all this it's like everyone else says age discrimination and now rudeness. travel another 15 minutes north to Castle Rock. Toutle River RV is a nicer place and friendly people. Happy RVing! read more

Our RV group stayed here in 2019 and we were so impressed with the staff and the large and well stocked clubhouse. The staff welcomed our group with a table full of snacks and drinks. They even decorated the table cloths yellow which is our club color! The campground is very well maintained. We are coming back in June 2020 because we enjoy the campground so much! Ugh. This place. The good: The park itself is nice and the grounds are very well maintained. The pad sizes are okay. There's a laundry room, bath/showers, and workout room. It's alongside a levee with a walking trail and beautiful views. It's quiet - because it's not right next to the freeway. If you only need to stay a few days, it's fine. Lovely location, clean, quiet, easy shot to the freeway but not right next to it. The bad: Don't expect any extras, like a little park store with necessities or a vending machine in the laundry room with packets of laundry soap or even a coin machine. This place has a 2-desk office that feels very much like a sales office, and that's it. Any time you have to go to the office to check in, check out, or change reservations, it feels like you're always interrupting more important business. You're lucky if one of the people at the desks greets you and asks you what you want (not "hi, how can I help you?" - "what do you want"). The park has a very strict policy that limits your full use of the pad - they want absolutely nothing on or overhanging the grass - so that means you have to be super careful not to back your rig up with the rear end hanging over the grass, which limits the amount of parking space in front of your rig. (note that I said "back up" -- that's because the pull-throughs are reserved for rigs of a certain size, no matter what, even if your rig is only a foot or two smaller and there are at least a half dozen pull-through sites available) You also have to take care to make sure any slide outs do not end up over the grass. You can't move the picnic table onto the grass to give yourself more space, or put your lawn chairs or anything else on the grass. They're so serious about this that other park guests watch you as you pull in and give you repeated warnings about the grass! Which leads me back to the office personnel. I think guests here are paranoid about the grass and other park rules because the office staff is consistently pissy and bitchy, from the moment they first pick up the phone. We've been rv'ing for nearly 20 years and have never encountered such unpleasant and unwelcoming office staff at an RV park. The first time I reserved here, I did so by phone because I had a question I couldn't get answered online. I thought maybe the woman who answered the phone that time was annoyed that someone was calling instead of using the online reservation option. Or having a bad day. Whatever. Benefit of the doubt. Circumstances are such that we had to stay again, so for the second stay, I made reservations online. And then I had to change the arrival date, which I couldn't do online. Another super fun call with a super pissy person. We were unfortunate enough to be stuck needing to stay there again. This time, I went in to the office to make the new reservation. I mentioned that we were checking out tomorrow, but needed to come back the following week. Bitchy woman behind desk #1 said, "no, your check out time was for the next day, not tomorrow, and since you reserved online, I can't refund you for that day." Okey dokey then. Apparently reserving online doesn't make them any friendlier. So, why do we keep staying here? Necessity. It's where we needed to be and even the KOA 15 miles up I-5 just seemed too far for our purposes. If there were any other decent place nearby, we'd never stay at this park again. If luck holds out, we won't need to again. read more
