We didn't file a claim because we knew the house was undergoing a major remodel. When they moved us back in, we had the builder cover all the walls and flooring. AMS did not have that as an option. Additionally, when they brought our stuff back, many items were covered with mold. We had a lot of damage and many boxes looked like they had been packed by children. I hate to leave a negative review but our compensation for damage was horrible and out of line in our opinion. I can't recommend this company and I would not use them again.

The bad - I was given an estimate of the time it would probably take for the move. I asked specifically if the estimate was firm or by the hour. I was told 2 men, a truck by the hour. When it was time to pay, the cost was much higher than I expected. I inquired and was told that travel time TO/FROM the location(s) was counted. That's like getting paid to drive to/from work. I would never have agreed to this had I known. This means they charged me 1.5 hours for travel time outside of any work being done and not when stuff was in the truck. They arrived at 10:30 and were done at 2:20 and we were charged 5.5 hours. I've moved a ton and no reputable company would do this. And the kicker was a $175 truck fee. The truck was a U-Haul I could have rented for $30/day. Even adding gas etc we are nowhere near what was charged. This was a local move mind you. Distance between locations maybe 15 miles. Do better Fully Involved!
