    Paid in full. Never to return here after dealing with Heather Office Manager, and Dr Lana Holcomb Owner. The lack of people skills on their part. For example, on the day of the visit with my pet, I paid my bill in full as presented to me in good faith. However I received an invoice by mail that Montezuma Veterinary Service undercharged me by $16. The invoice also included in handwritten bold red letters the following "Payment is due upon service, please remit payment today! We have tried several times to call and have emailed as well." When all they had to do was mail the invoice without further comment. This underpayment is your mistake. At my visit I paid in good faith. I don't receive bills through my email. Again all you had to do was mail the invoice. In speaking with Dr Lana Holcomb, owner, she stated this is how she trains staff to send out invoices. Further, Dr Holcomb stated that she deals with many people who don't pay their bills and was tired of it. So she treats everyone the same. She seems to think we're all deadbeats. Dr Holcomb stated if I didn't like it I could change to another veterinarian, which I did. You may consider the same.

    I had a very bad experience at this Vet and fired them Have been going there since Nov 2016. The previous vets were good but this one just wants money. My dog was out of her arthritis med. She is 16yrs old and I just want her to be comfortable in her last months. They told me that she needed a wellness check because it had been a year. According to her records I picked up she had been in in Sept 2018. (That is 6 mon not a year.) They said they couldn't get her in until Fri, this was Tues. I went to the office to beg the Vet to give her pills until Friday when they could get her in. I wasn't allowed to peak to the vet, only the bitchy office Mgr. I was told that since she had a Friday appointment I could get 4 pills. I said that was great expecting to get the rest of the RX Fri. She proceeded to charge me $14 for 4 pills, dispensing fee. (The entire 2 month Rx is $40) I became angry and ordered the Med online. But the Vet refused to let them fill it. When I called about it they said I had to bring her in and get it from them. When I refused, they cancelled her appointment and dropped her as a patient. They are OUT FOR MONEY, no compassion or care for animals from this vet.

    I brought my dog in for an emergency surgery on a Sunday. They made it there pretty fast even though it was after hours. My dog was attacked by another dog who almost ripped her ear off. They stitched her back together very nicely. I was nervous to take her to a vet I hadn't met before for a serious emergency, but the attack happened out by West Clear Creek and our normal vet is in Phoenix. I took her into my normal vet the next day to get her checked out, and they said Montezuma veterinarians did a really good job on the sutures. There were two DVMs there and both were nice. I especially liked the red head gal, I believe her name was Jennifer. Thank you Momtezuma Vets for helping my pup!

    I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Shawn and the entire team at Hillside Canine. We were in…read morea tough spot and had to quickly find a place to board our dog the night before Thanksgiving. Shawn answered and immediately assured us that his staff would standby to take in our pup. As stressed out pet parents after a 7 hour drive, the whole thing was a bit hectic trying to find a safe and reliable boarder on such short notice, but that staff was calming and friendly. Intake was smooth and gave us a lot of relief. After a couple days, we called and asked for an update. To our surprise, they sent a full report card with pictures and videos to reassure us that he was having a great time at daycare. I appreciated the detail and attention they gave our little guy. When we picked him up it was clear that he was very well cared for. Thanks to Anya, Auntie Em, the chill guy who checked us in, and the awesome kennel tech to checked us out. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff on the phone were very friendly and clear about their practice and made me feel comfortable right away. When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and our pup, Tucker, immediately seemed at home and relaxed, which of course put me at ease as well, especially since as a rescue he has some separation anxiety. They were great at sending us some updates, including some videos, along the way where I could see that Tucker was enjoying himself along with a couple of other small dogs his size. When we picked him up, he was relaxed and not the least bit anxious but at the same time happy to see us. Overall, a very good experience and we would not hesitate to leave him there again, perhaps even overnight if needed. Highly recommend the Camp Verde location (that's the only one we've visited so far)!

    Due to Hillside K9 Academy's owner's other business (Northern Arizona Service Dogs) not having its…read moreown Yelp page, I am posting my review here. Both businesses are located on the same property at 874 Industrial Drive in Camp Verde. The owner of Hillside K9 Academy, Shawn T., is the trainer for Northern Arizona Service Dogs. I entered into a Purchase Agreement (as the contract is titled) with Northern Arizona Service Dogs ("NAZSD") to purchase from them a trained service dog. I had issues with NAZSD from the start with them being non-responsive to texts, voicemails, & emails. The Purchase Agreement with NAZSD stated that they would provide a trained service dog & assist me with getting the dog to pass Public Access as per the criteria outlined by the Assistance Dogs International. Contrary to how it was explained to me during my initial in-person meeting with NAZSD, the promised individual training was minimal & the promised group training was never conducted. During the first month of having the dog in my custody, the dog began to have "house training" issues while in public business establishments. After both incidents I immediately notified NAZSD. After the first incident I requested to return the dog for additional training; however, they declined to take custody. After the second incident a week later, I insisted that NAZSD provide a replacement dog as per the contract. In spite of my several requests for a replacement dog, both verbally as well as in writing, my request was never acknowledged nor was a replacement ever provided. I subsequently requested a refund of my deposit (several thousands of dollars), but these requests have all been ignored. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau ("BBB") to which NAZSD responded by making numerous false allegations against me, including certain details of my private medical history. Unfortunately, I did not make a response in time on the BBB's web portal before the BBB closed the complaint. I was informed by the BBB that both my complaint as well as NAZSD's response would be posted on their website publicly. It was my original intention to acquire a trained service dog, not to acquire a service dog to be trained by myself. I have so far been unable to recover the thousands of dollars paid to them, nor has NAZSD delivered to me a trained service dog as a replacement for the original dog which they chose to retain. The have failed to fulfill their obligation under the contract, although they have refused to return my payment. As of this date, I have not been reimbursed & NAZSD has not delivered a trained service dog. I would NOT recommend Northern Arizona Service Dogs in any regard, for any purpose. Their business practices are extremely unprofessional.

    We had been using Alternate pest control since we bought our home ages ago..We initally have a full…read moretreatment perimeter,Termidor, ect done and have always kept the yearly inspections so as to maintain the warranty..When I called in this year, there was a new woman on the phone, not the usual one from the past..she said we havent recieved a payment since 2023 march..I mentioned to her that we had the inspector out last yr and it was always around sept ,oct most recently..she said there is no record of this and that I owed for 2023,2024 and 2025.. I asked my goodness you want backpay for 3 years? she said even with that we were no longer covered under the warranty. I Know we had an inspection last yr and it was in the sept,oct range.. Reecently ,they stopped giving a receipt of services rendered and said it could be viewed online ect.. normally I kept that receipt for my records.. needless to say, Not happy with how we were treated as Very very long term customers. we were basically told we had no warranty and we were behind for inspections we know we had done but cant prove. I cant recall if we paid by cash, check or card at this point, I only recall the most recent visit was Not in march of 2023 but in the late months of sept,oct or possibly even nov but not in the early part of the yr, not the more recent visits.Not happy and cannot recommend with treatment like this of long standing customer....if the owner would like to contact me, I am certainly open to a discussion to find out Why this happenned.
