Been looking for a hand car wash place and was driving doing an errand and found this hidden gem. Wasn't busy. Pulled up and the guy came and helped me pretty quickly. I opted for the premium wash which was $49.99. I needed a deep clean as I have been avoiding cleaning my car for a long time now cuz I'm lazy lol. They did a pretty good job. Took about an hour so keep that in mind, but they are pretty thorough with doing their job inside and out. All the nooks and crannies inside were clean. Spotless and shiny like brand new. Too bad they aren't in my area. Def worth it tho. read more

I just happened to drive by and see cars being washed, realized I really needed one so I stopped in to see what the prices were. Manuel told me the $40 was the one he recommended because it was a detailed inside and out clean and they'd do a wax coat to the paint too. I decided to take it. He told me I could go, have lunch and be back in 30 minutes. I had to ask them if they needed my number or something to call me once it's done. A younger man took it down on a post-it and started helping me - they'd handed me a large plastic trash bag (per my request) so I could gather the things inside my car ... (yes friends, I have a ton of things in my car that I didn't want to get in the way!!). So he helped me gather and I went on my merry way to walk to grab a coffee and to journal for about 30 min at Palabras bilingual bookstore right west of their building. I didn't get a call or text but I made my way back about 30+ minutes or so later and sat down along with other patrons on some rows of chairs shaded by the palm trees on the edge of the street. My car at first glance looked looked spotless! I was thrilled. It was parked under the shade - not left in the sun and nobody was working on it. I didn't know whether it was done or not - so I waited a little bit. Nobody came to get me... but after a few I figured they were done so I approached my car and Manuel pointed to it and said - "yes to this one's done",l in Spanish and handed me my keys, walked back to the office to grab my bill and came back out. While he was gone I opened the driver side door and noticed there was still some crumbs on the floorboard right underneath the seat. I was kind of disappointed because anyone who looked would have seen it easily. I asked him if he could please get the few crumbs and he nodded, grabbed a blower - took the top carpet layer off and my additional splash guard and went to work. Took an extra 3 minutes but it made a huge difference. I thanked him and got in. On my drive out, I noticed some crumbs (yes I sometimes eat in my car ‍)by the gear shift- the ones concealed very easily if you don't move the leather around ... and just scooped those out with my fingers. Then in the middle center open console under the AC, also some missed. Again, just touched them and picked them up with my fingers - oh well. I guess I didn't pay $90 for a very detailed car wash, but for $40 - to me... it didn't seem like it'd be too much to ask for. Overall a good value, but if you want to make the most of your visit here, follow these tips: The entrance is on 18th street, just north of McDowell. They do a VERY THOROUGH job, and it takes time. I waited about 45 minutes for my large SUV to get a thorough inside and outside cleaning, but it was well worth it. My advice is to find something else to do during this time. Overall, the price is more than reasonable, and they do an excellent job. There's no doubt that I'll be back to get my car cleaned here. read more

I had been getting hand washes at Los Olivos a couple miles down the road from this place for years. When the owner at Los Olivos told me she had sold her land and was closing up shop at the end of 2017, I was nervous to try a new wash. I am pretty picky and like it done well. At the same time, I didn't want to drive half an hour every time I needed a wash. As I pulled up to Montevista, i almost didn't stop. It was a little run down and only had a 25 foot wash bay and a couple covered stations outside for drying/details. I drove past it, deciding to try somewhere else... but then decided to turn around and take s closer look. I pulled in and they were spending time to make sure cars of all types and conditions were well cleaned and looking their best. That seemed like a good sign. The price list was confusing, but I was able to get a full hand wash, interior cleaning/conditioning and some damage from someone stealing my emblems/logos buffed out for 35 dollars total. The packages started at $7.99 for cars and $9.99 for trucks. And maxed out at about $30.00 for washes. As they pulled it around, I could tell they knew what they were doing. The car was perfect. Best hand wash I'd had in a while. The car was blinding shiny. Nice work all. Ill be back. read more

My car was used for target practice by some birds, so I just needed a quick exterior wash. It's a convertible so I always go to hand wash places. I happened upon Montevista while stopping for Ethiopian food next door. They had it completed by the time I finished lunch, which was great, and it looks fine. They charged $15 for the exterior wash and tires, which is probably about average. Overall, the wash was completed as expected, but the place is a bit hard to navigate. I wasn't sure if my car was done when I came back because it was parked in the back, in a dirt lot area (which seemed like an odd spot to park a freshly washed car). When Los Olivos announced they were going out of business, I needed to find a replacement hand carwash. Hesitating to go with what looks like a fly-by-night operation, I drove past this place twice trying to decide if I would trust our car to their care. And, what about the prices? None were posted. Surely not a good sign. Finally, I went with it and was delightfully surprised. The prices were reasonable and the service outstanding. Our car has never had a better wash. The only negative is the absence of a decent food vendor nearby. However, they were fast enough that I could just take a walk. read more

Not enthused. In my search to steer clear of the 3 dollar car wash that leaves micro scratches on my car..i stumbled to this location. A decent line indicated they were busy/popular lil place. About a six man crew, they seemed on top of game and really cleaned the cars well. Got my car back after about 40 mins ( not a bad thing), and was disappointed. 20+5 tip . They literally whipped the inside ,removed no trash.. And missed allot of the exterior. Will not return. read more

Do not come to this car wash horrible service they don't wash your car good they give you a attitude when you tell them that they missed the spot they leave scratches & a rip off. took my car here to get washed they charge me $50 to clean the outside and inside on the inside of my car they only cleaned the dash in the doors and said the seats weren't included which doesn't make sense and they left a huge scratch on my bumper to where it now my paint is peeling off do not go here guys read more

It's a $35 car wash, so you should adjust your expectations. Is it perfect? No. Is it close enough? Yes. It was good enough to pass an Uber and Lyft driver inspection. And my vehicle had gone through 2 dust storm/haboobs with the windows partially down. My charcoal and black interior was coated in red Arizona dust. Without using ear swabs or a vacuum brush attachment, I don't know how it could have gotten any cleaner. read more

2 stars because at least they used some soap. $30.00 for an exterior wash on a gmc 1500 crew cab...they must have saw me coming! Every quarter panel with spots and/or streaks including tail gate and grill. They couldn't climb in to the bed to wipe the roof or rear window...instead they're slapping the shammy across said parts. Tires could have easily been scrubbed with a brush to get the dirt off them. When I complained about the tires, he said he didn't want to have to do the rims again... (What??? leave More Streaks and Spots on them). No use complaining. Save your money! read more

I read all the reviews, but I thought the wait would not bother me. The waiting area is outside--plastic chairs set in the shade. I brought water. But an hour wait in 107º heat was a lot. No one is in a hurry. If you pull up, expect to get out to ask for help. Be prepared to pay more. See those $35 washes in the comment? Get a price up front. My compact didn't qualify for a $35 wash. Want those wheels cleaned? Extra. Want those inside windows washed? Extra. Wax? Extra. It cost me $60 to have my compact washed, windows done inside and out, wheels cleaned, and the steering wheel left with enough ArmorAll to require a wipe-down to drive. And the passenger's side windshield was covered with water spots. Not worth it for me. read more

I really wanted to give these guys at least 4 stars. I have had varying experiences here. From opportunities to pay for services at a discount (I corrected them paid them and the quoted price), to paying for services that were not done. If you are going to charge people for services, at least try to do them done. The interior cleaning I paid was incomplete and I hate driving away from a car wash with it not done at all, and still with debris and grime visible on the rear window from my rear view mirror. Come on guys, just a little more effort and that would have been cleaned. The quality is pretty low for what they are charging now, however not much options for hand car wash in DT Phoenix at this point. read more

Terrible service. Went on Sunday to get vehicle washed about 20 minutes trip. Arrived at 3:45 as hours posted is open to 4. That's unless the attendant decides he is done. Extremely rude & belligerent person refused to do my vehicle. I examined I had driven aways to get here. He snswer was font care please leave. Worse customer service ever. 25$ for them to run my car through a machine and barely wipe it, poor job vacuuming, didn't wipe down inside interior. If you want a good cleaning job for your money I definitely recommend 16st and Missouri. Cheaper and better work. read more

The first time I went there, they did a a great job at an affordable price but a few days ago they charged me $50 (more than last time for the same job and he literally made up a price on the spot) to give my car the basic wash and shampoo the back seats. The windshield is smeared, the center console wasn't cleaned, and the backseat still had a stain on it. I later rented a carpet cleaner for my couches and used that to get the stain out myself. Tried these guys twice, looking for something since Los Olivos is gone. First time with these guys was OK. Second time, they said my truck was done, but a quick look revealed they had not dressed the tires. Pointed this out. They corrected it and I drove away. That was when I noticed they had not cleaned the inside of any of the windows. Plus you have to sit in cheap plastic chairs in gravel while you wait. I am not going back. read more

It was the worst experience I've had with a car wash. I was charged nearly$17.00 for a basic wash. When it was finished, the windows were streaked from the dirty towels they used and they only washed the upper part of the car. This was work my 10 year old could do. I scraped dirt from the bottom part of my door. I told my husband about it; he called and talked to the owner Manny and Manny told my husband for me to bring the car back and he'll make it right. I brought it back and he said he would need to charge me an extra $18.00 for what I wanted. I just wanted them to redo the car. I told him I've paid less at Los Olivos for the works on my car. I admit, to declare another business would make one a little peeved to which Manny retorted with, "This isn't Los Olivos!" I sure wish I could find a reputable car wash. read more

My first time here. They did a great job and fast! Not a fancy place but their work is super good.

Great crew and attention to detail! They even did an amazing job cleaning the engine. I will be taking my truck here from now on.
