Established in 2002.
Montero Law Group, LLC was founded in 2002 by R. Manny Montero as a solo practice focused on bankruptcy and general civil litigation. Today, the firm has grown into a full-service law practice with six attorneys, five paralegals, and a dedicated support staff.
Our attorneys possess extensive bench and jury trial experience and are well-versed in a wide range of practice areas, including personal injury, civil litigation, real estate, business transactions, bankruptcy, criminal and traffic defense, DWI/DUI, and family law. With more than two decades of experience, the firm is committed to providing personalized, results-driven representation while maintaining open communication and accessibility for every client.
Meet the Business Owner: R. Manny M.
R. Manny Montero is the Managing Partner of Montero Law Group, LLC, with more than 20 years of experience as a consumer advocate representing clients affected by unfair, deceptive, and predatory business practices. He has built a high-volume bankruptcy practice serving the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
Mr. Montero also represents small business clients in matters such as business formation, lease negotiations, collections, tax issues, contract disputes, creditors’ rights, real estate matters, and general civil litigation. Known for combining strong legal advocacy with empathy and practical guidance, he is an influential local leader, active in the Latino community, and has served on several nonprofit boards. He also contributes his time through pro bono service as a supervising attorney with the Montgomery County Bar Foundation.
