Her therapy appointments were canceled, and she very rapidly lost her ability to walk and became bedridden. I reached out to CCSS when I learned my Dad needed heart surgery, and was under strict instructions not to exert himself in any way (which included caregiving for my Mom) prior to his operation. CCSS came out to assess the home, and made recommendations on equipment and a care schedule for my Mom. They were great with communicating with *me* as well---the adult daughter who does not live with them. When the local fires threatened evacuating my parents from their home, CCSS made calls and located a hospital bed to be delivered within hours to my house as we brought them here to evacuate. As my mother's health digressed, I had no experience coordinating with hospice care, and filing advanced care directives with the appropriate agencies. CCSS has literally helped me every step of the way, with clear communication and compassion as I processed emotionally and mentally the decisions I needed to make with my Dad to ensure my Mom was comfortable. After being underwhelmed by the first visit, I decided to give them a second change, assuming the initial experience was just a one off. Sadly, I was disappointed both times. During the most recent visit, I accidentally spilled some breastmilk in the kitchen and on the floor before rushing out to work. I wiped up the spill but held off on mopping, knowing the cleaners were scheduled for that day. When I cam home, the kitchen smelled awful, there were still visible white drops from the milk on the floor. It was clear the floors were not mopped at all. I found a similar lack of detail in the master bathroom. We barely use this bathroom because it connects to my baby's room, so it really just needed a thorough dusting and scrub of general build up. Before the cleaners arrived, I proactively threw away old shampoo and conditioner bottles, which left some residue on the edge of the tub. I fully expected this to be scrubbed away during a standard clean. Instead, I came home to find the soap residue untouched, and white hard water marks still covering the tub faucet. Ultimately, I ended up re-mopping my floors and re-cleaning both bathrooms myself. When you are paying 300 dollars for a professional cleaning service, you expect a thorough job, not something you have to redo at the end of the day. Based on two bad experiences, I cannot recommend their services.
