We recently moved to Monterey and contacted Central Coast Senior Services. We were told that they did not deal with long term care insurance companies, even MetLife or CalPERS. We would have to pay them for services each month and then we were responsible for getting reimbursed by our long-term care insurance. This means we would have to send care notes, invoices and other documentation each month to the insurance company. Whatever the quality of service Central Coast provides, and it may well be good, but potential customers should be aware of this unusual part of their services and the additional work it entails.
