Remediation began quickly and Gabriel was very thorough rooting out any potential sources of leaks and eliminating all traces of mold. The only communication I received after our December 28 meeting with Bethany was a "text" on January 10 saying she hasn't called because she had the "wrong number" was too busy assisting other "seniors" and our CNA was "sick." That's it. I can clearly see why they have a "3 Star" average. Excuse, after excuse after excuse.

With our authorization, payments were made directly to the care agency, so we did not have to deal with anything except establishing our eligibility for services under the policy. We recently moved to Monterey and contacted Central Coast Senior Services. We were told that they did not deal with long term care insurance companies, even MetLife or CalPERS. We would have to pay them for services each month and then we were responsible for getting reimbursed by our long-term care insurance. This means we would have to send care notes, invoices and other documentation each month to the insurance company. Whatever the quality of service Central Coast provides, and it may well be good, but potential customers should be aware of this unusual part of their services and the additional work it entails.

My husband booked the house cleaning for me twice as a gift, one postpartum and one for Mother's Day. After being underwhelmed by the first visit, I decided to give them a second change, assuming the initial experience was just a one off. Sadly, I was disappointed both times. During the most recent visit, I accidentally spilled some breastmilk in the kitchen and on the floor before rushing out to work. I wiped up the spill but held off on mopping, knowing the cleaners were scheduled for that day. When I cam home, the kitchen smelled awful, there were still visible white drops from the milk on the floor. It was clear the floors were not mopped at all. I found a similar lack of detail in the master bathroom. We barely use this bathroom because it connects to my baby's room, so it really just needed a thorough dusting and scrub of general build up. Before the cleaners arrived, I proactively threw away old shampoo and conditioner bottles, which left some residue on the edge of the tub. I fully expected this to be scrubbed away during a standard clean. Instead, I came home to find the soap residue untouched, and white hard water marks still covering the tub faucet. Ultimately, I ended up re-mopping my floors and re-cleaning both bathrooms myself. When you are paying 300 dollars for a professional cleaning service, you expect a thorough job, not something you have to redo at the end of the day. Based on two bad experiences, I cannot recommend their services.
