I started taking Allison's yoga class to add as a part of my routine during quarantine, and it's made such an impact in my life!

She put together weekly workouts for me and helped me maintain good form and build muscle. She is so great at offering modifications and recommendations for stretches that can support any aches and pains I may mention during our sessions. I no longer have back pain and am feeling stronger in my 40s than I did in my 20s. Danielle also helped me prepare for a major surgery. I took advantage of her health coaching to focus on stress reduction, balance my hormones, and build a healthy and strong body with Whole Foods. She's a wealth of knowledge on the best products to support a toxin free life. Scheduling is a breeze and her studio is comfortable and clean. Having a fitness and wellness coach on your team is the best way to stay accountable for taking care of yourself.

It was led by our former trainer, Ben, from Elite Spartans. The small group class (4-6) makes it personal so you get the focused attention on your form. I particularly enjoyed that it was outdoor in the sun on the grass turf. This class was perfect for me because it helped stress the importance of good form to avoid injuries with hips, knees, etc. Ben is an excellent teacher that provides feedback in a positive way. If you are looking for an intimate gym in the Willow Glen Area with a professional trainers and a good atmosphere, check out Willow Glen Workout Garage.

The facility is outdoors which is great (especially during pandemic!) and the equipment is top quality and CLEAN! The classes were 45 mins and included strength training (with modifications for every level!) as well as mobility work. I especially loved the small class size (4-6) and the personalized instruction Ben delivers. Highly recommend "The Yard"!

Warming pool has been down since I joined and now hot tub motor is broken. Several machines down. I'm paying more here because I expected more. Also, I think in the 2 months I've been here only one front desk member has addressed me with a hello or goodbye. Your members are the sole reason you have a job. Greet people. Don't just stare at your computer screen as we walk by. I'm old school And this is rude. I've even slowed down as I walk by and tried to make eye contact with no success. Luckily, the upside is the members who come here are a little friendlier and have more common sense and courtesy than most places. So there's that. But so far not impressed with where my extra money is going.
