When the workers came, they told me I had the wrong liner. Scheduling the day of work was a bit difficult. First I was told it was too hot for the guys to work. My thinking was "Of course it's going to be hot, it's summer". Then I got a text message to confirm a date of a Saturday in June. I called the lady after I got the text to go over a few things and she no idea who I was. She asked me where I lived and I told her. She said they're not gonna be anywhere near that area on Saturday. I was like you just told me via text you were coming. Then in an email, she said I needed to get "10-50 lbs of play sand". I bought 50 pounds just to be safe. Finally when the workers did arrive and we got past the issue with the liner ( that's after I had to run to a pool store and buy 45 plastic retaining clips) they asked me if I had any duct tape. I had a little bit left so I gave it to them. I showed them the sand that I bought then ran out to do a few errands. Shortly after I left the lady called and said I needed to buy more sand. According to her, I was instructed to buy 10, 50 pound bags of sand. I tried to explain to her that when you between put a hyphen between two numbers it indicates a range. she couldn't understand that part. So I ran back to the store again to buy more sand. When I return home, the workers if I had more duct tape. I said to the I was literally just at Home Depot. Why didn't you tell me before I left. So I had to run out to the store a third time. Oh, I forgot to mention that the day before the work was actually done I was on the schedule for the afternoon. Needless to say nobody ever showed up. I had to call the office mid afternoon to find out what's going on. Like everybody else I just love wasting my day waiting for people to show up and dont.

Me being a contractor, in a different field, had knowledge of the proper order of procedure for this project to be completed properly. In the initial meeting, addressing the issue of a dip in the floor was my main concern. I was assured that it was no problem. When it came time to the actual repair, he told me that he did not know how to fix it. So, I had to fix it myself. Also, I had to go back over his extremely shotty workmanship on the sheet rock, the painting, and the plumbing as he continued to drag his feet through this project over an 8-month period. He constantly wanted me to pay him before the actual payment was sent from the lender. Which I did to help him out because of his lack of funds. Big red flag! He was unable to keep the proper information and paperwork to the lender, in a timely manner, to keep the payments flowing. Needing to move back in, I worked nights and weekends, in the house, to get it to livable conditions. I paid his last invoice of nearly 12,000.00 and have not been reimbursed from the lender because of his lack of completion of just the renovation itself. After being ghosted for a couple of months, he finally responded with a text stating that it was too much of a hassle to send invoices and have his work inspected before payment. The garage was never even started. I have wires for the exterior lights hanging out of my house. I tried my best to help this fellow to complete this project by buying and delivering materials, cleaning up his constant messes, going over his work, paying him out of my pocket, and being patent with his procrastination of completing just the renovation. I hope no other homeowner has to go through this. Beware!

Missed some windows to be caulked. The owner became belligerent and argumentative raising his voice and threating. He refused to finish one job until I met him with a check. I ended up having to clean up the paint splatter myself and redo some of the work I paid them to do. Very poor and unprofessional.
