Always like this location. My Dr is amazing, really takes her time to listen and asks questions as well as follows up from previous visit s. Generally cares about the patients health. The absolute worst office I've ever dealt with in my life. Numerous people behind the desk made me cry and I never have cried in a doctor's office. They are insanely rude. They do not follow up. I even got a call one time yelling at me because I requested a referral for PT when I fell and sprained my ankle and wrist. Dr. Ningthoujam tries her best but she's totally overwhelmed with the number of patients and frequently never emailed me back after multiple times of trying to contact her. Stay far far away from this place. My kids even had their pediatrician here and Dr. Igel was great but was never there so I ended up at Urgent Care most of the time. It's not run well and has such disgruntled workers it's a place not to go. read more

The doc put notes in my chart that are for someone else, my insurance was billed for a visit that never happened, and despite repeated calls... my medical records still indicate I have a condition I do not have and (of course) they've not reversed the billing error. Go somewhere else. read more

Love, love, love this location. I never have to wait hours to see the doctor. They are open Saturday's. Its always clean and the staff is friendly. My doctor is a lovely caring lady. I love that they have the my monti chart where I can check everything. All my doctors note, my letters, my appointments, and all my results. Its so much more convenient and smart. I now enjoy being a Monti patient. Now they should make that chart into an App. (#hint) Then I wouldnt have to log in on-line and I could communicate with my doc even faster. This facility is barely functioning. I call for a prescription, they never answer the phone. Now the voice mail takes your number to call back, and they never do. I usually have to go there and make a fuss for them to act. It happened several times. Even the mail order pharmacy (Optum Rx) doesn't get a response- they Email me. Meanwhile, while the doctors seem ok, they are constantly leaving, so I have no idea who is my doctor. I'd love to find a competent primary care physician (preferably an individual- not part of a huge hospital corporation) in the Riverdale area. read more

The doctors and medical staff are great, but the reception area are a disaster. It takes forever for them to answer the phones. When they do answer they put you on hold immediately. I have been on hold numerous times for over 15 minutes. Today Friday September 152024 I sent a message to my doctor. The person or persons text me back asking if I want a Telemed of to come in. I said I prefer a Telemed. I never got a response back as to what time. I had to call 6 hours later to be told that I can get a Telemed appointment next Wednesday, not today Friday September 15, 2023. And be able to come until next week. What is going on!!!!! read more

I read some of the bad reviews and I have never had those problems. I once ran out of a med over a holiday weekend and the attending sent a limited script into CVS. I use the MyChart to ask for refills. and I love that all my bloodwork results are there for me to read and compare. My Dr. is great! She gently pushes me toward better health habits. She and the staff have always been polite and I do not wait too long in the waiting room. I book my appointments online and have never had to wait very only to get the next one. They also have a great social worker on staff and the nurses are very gentle and nice will taking blood or giving flu shots. I trust them ! read more

I can't rate the doctors or being there. But, my mother was in the hospital and needed an appointment with her doctor. I made extensive attempts at reaching someone, anyone here by phone, and was on hold for long periods each time, then cut off each time, only once hearing someone speak one word before I got cut off. Then, I finally reached someone, and was given the procedure for the next appointment available weeks away. Then, the next day, I had to do it all again, and was given totally different procedures after wasting lots of time trying to reach someone again. read more

I recently attended this location and saw a medical provider. I scheduled a physical. I was not charged a co-pay and agreed with the doctor I was being seen for a physical. They coded my office visit incorrectly and I now have a $900 bill. The office administrator did not provide an adequate answer as to why they could not resubmit the bill with the right billing code. My matter has not been resolved, despite numerous calls from my insurance company. The office administrator pretended she wanted to help me but never answered or returned my calls after 2 weeks of leaving messages. Montefiore's billing department also complained about the long wait to speak to someone regarding this matter. The billing department shared they did not understand why the right billing code was not being resubmitted. I honestly would not recommend this site for adult care. read more

Don't go to this Dr.s office, you will regret it.While the doctor is great, its not worth the rude and unreachable front desk staff. This has been my doctor for a year, 1/2 block from home, but will not return, After many problems with bills and a rude staff, i needed meds that needed to be renewed by a doctor on a holiday weekend, i did not know the script had expired. It was for anxiety and i was unable to get the office for four days due to holiday closure. On the fifth day, it took two and one half hours to reach the office after holds. The woman stated my doctor was out and i had to call back tomorrow. I was desperate for the medication. I phoned the next day and spoke with a rude woman who said i would have to wait 24 to 36 hours for doctor to submit script. I asked to speak to the (new) office manager who was exacerbated with me. She cared less that it was going on six days. Unprofessional, uncaring group!!! read more
