With its beautiful gardens and 1920s architectural charm, it combines a vintage feel with a luxurious look. Guests continue to reach out about how much they loved the look and vibes of the venue. It really gives old money vibes without the need for an old money budget. Becky and the Parador staff are wonderful to work with. They are supremely attentive, and worked with us to find a budget and date that worked for us. I can't thank them enough for their flexibility and kindness towards us during a time that can be quite stressful. They also didn't hesitate to attend to our every need the day of the wedding. I truly can't thank them enough.

This is the venue my daughter and our new son-in-law chose for their wedding and it was beautiful! They worked very well with us from arranging time for the couple to practice their dance, helping find things within the venue to add some added touches and also giving us added time (at a fee but still was very nice of them given the late decision) to prepare the decor. Loved it! So glad they had it here and I know they would do it again! Any thanks to Dasha and Alberto on the big day and Kristen for being so willing to help.

10/10 Experience - A True Gem in Houston!…read more The Community Collective is easily one of the best venues I've worked with in Houston. From start to finish, the team was beyond responsive, communicative, and incredibly flexible with our needs. Every question was answered promptly, every detail was handled with care, and I truly felt like they were as invested in the success of our event as we were. It was so great the first time, we booked it again the following month! Easy to access, parking was perfect! The space itself is beautiful and versatile - perfect for anything from intimate gatherings to larger scale events. But what really sets this place apart is the management. Everything was seamless and well-executed, which made the entire planning process stress-free. Teeba, Ms. Jackie, Patrick, Jerrol and the rest of the Collective team, I am deeply appreciative of you all! If you're looking for a venue where professionalism meets hospitality, this is it! I highly recommend booking your next event here - you'll leave just as impressed and satisfied as I was!

The bar set up inside could've been bigger but you can set up additional bars in the back of the room. The outside was L-shaped and a little small, but good enough for 2 food vendors and a bar. Was here for a graduation. It's a very nice venue, indeed!…read more I assume our event wasn't completely normal. I believe the owners are related to the graduates we were celebrating. Still, it was a great venue. Things went well technically, with videos display in multiple places. The food was great, but I believe family members provided the food. I called this venue multiple times trying to speak to a live person. I would always get a voicemail…read moreand would leave a message and or text just as the person on the voicemail asked it's caller to do at that time. I also sent emails inquiring about the venue to have my baby shower, but I guess since I wasn't talking 100 or more guests, the owner or manager didn't bother to return any of my calls or emails. A relative and I even stopped by the venue and what do you know? Doors locked and lights off...during their so-called hours of operation. If your event is over 100 guests and you are okay with spending unnecessary large amounts of money for a venue tucked in the back of bunch of other office buildings off a busy FM2234/ Mchard Rd this spot may work for you. If this venue is meant for large or specific events only then specify that and at least call the potential client back. It was tacky and unprofessional to have never received any feedback or replies from management. Well the same day I took a drive to this venue and no one was in sight when I arrived was the same day I found the perfect and unique venue where I held my baby shower which had way more space for guests, food, gifts and games. The owner also gave me fab rate. So no thanks, Reflection Bay keep your venue. There are others with more amenities and management who will humbly communicate with any potential client.

I am currently in the process of planning my wedding at Life HTX. A lot of these details may be…read morerevised upon the completion of the event in the upcoming weeks. I began planning my wedding prior to the pandemic so this has been an ongoing/stressful process of multiple years at this point. When I had first reached out to Life HTX, they were previously coordinated by another individual who had helped me through the booking process and assured me about the flexibility and accommodations Life would provide. Over the course of the pandemic, they have had a lot of management changes in the venue and is now also affiliated with a fitness company. This means a lot of the original flare of the venue is now mitigated by a lot of the fitness accoutrement and yoga material. They reassure me that these will be removed prior to the wedding day. However some of these items now in the space are unable to be relocated, including multiple sad fig trees and tables which depending on what your theme is, may or may not coincide. They do not assist in turnover or flip. In order to book at Life, you reach out to the coordinator and they will provide you with rates and pricing per discussion with their owner. Valet is provided at a cost. As is security. There is not enough parking on site. The entry and entry roads are more cramped than is ideal for a gathering. I already know a tremendous amount of guest goers will get lost. There is a refundable kitchen deposit stipulation despite the "kitchen" being more of a break/storage room which is unable to be used for actual preparing of meals. Hopefully we will retain this by the end of our event. Tables and ghost chairs can be negotiated and included in the price. There are strict event parameters for the timeline. Make sure to be mindful of this or you'll be in for headache as I am. Will need to usher partygoers out en force at 10:30 on the dot. Event insurance is required. Life has a modern feel, which is what attracted us initially. It is one long connected rectangle. There is a named living room space and the proper life HTX. An upstairs area can be used as the bridal suite. The living room has couches and tables with golden accents. A bar is available. Multiple additional silver mobile bars are also in the life HTX space. Their interior is white with modern white hanging chandeliers that can be lit up to your color of choice. Their walls also contain multiple adjacent projectors which can project a stock image or your image of choice. Give these to their coordinator/AV tech 14 days before your event. The exterior and interior of the building are more dated then I had originally envisioned secondary to pictures online. I would recommend a walk-through to make sure the venue is as you imagined. Some areas of paint are discolored or missing inside. Overlying canopy at an entrance is discolored. The grassy landscape has succumbed to the snow and ice storms Houston has recently underwent. A lot of the reviews are dated multiple years ago and prior the pandemic. Just want to give a more recent experience regarding Life and it's offerings. To be honest, it has been the most challenging vendor I am working with for my wedding and throughout this pandemic situation. I would recommend Life perhaps for an event that is intrinsically more for casual fun and gathering. In regards to a wedding which is near and dear to your heart and definitely involves a lot more emotional sentiment, I find It challenging to recommend to another bride. It definitely can be done, but it just depends on how much stress and effort you're willing to undergo. Hindsight is 2020.
