I can describe this place in 2 words. Nerd Heaven. There is an INTIRE WALL just dedicated to videogames old and new and funko pops. The service is good and the prices too. There are also t-shirts and stickers- and other cool stuff too. Definitely worth checking out (also I think I saw moist critical AKA pengwinz0)

Monster games is my favorite video game store. I have been going there for years. They have a constantly rotating selection of used video games and consoles. There is also a growing Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, and Dungeons & Dragons community growing around the store. They have tables to play and regular gaming nights. The owner is nice and his family runs the shop.

Little shop of games!…read more They're kind enough to show up to the local free play Florida convention. They're kind enough to just talk to you about non-business relevant issues. And most importantly it's always great to have a business who doesn't just supply the things you need and help with the things you need but it's unbelievably enthusiastic about what they do. The shop was really easy to find for me being out of town and it's loaded with a row of new games and Rose have used games so they have both new and used for sale. They also accommodate traits if the deal is good for both parties. I've dealt with little shop only a few times now for small parts and questions. Marshall and Dave are very polite an attempt to provide any advice they can. I suggest if you have any concerns or looking to make a new purchase of a pinball machine. Little shop should be your first stop. And even if you're confused about the different brands and systems that exist, there's a plethora generations of machines on display for you to understand we will fit your pinball needs. They also have some video games I'm not 100% sure on their process with video arcades compared to the bread and butter which is pinball. Little shop of games is your local dealer for Jersey Jack pinball, Chicago gaming company and Stern.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.

The owner, I believe his name was Lee, was great to talk to and told us all about his store. R U Game? is well organized and has an amazing selection. Some items are a bit over market price but that is to be expected from a resell store because they have to account for the cost of keeping the building running. I wouldn't consider it outrageously overpriced though, it was within a reasonable amount that if the purchase is meant for keeping/using I would definitely buy it. If you love retro games then this is the spot for you!

Well, it had a problem 3 times mid-way through the install process, and I was never able to get the game installed on my ps5. I updated my ps5, and still it would not work tried to take the game back today, on day 7, and was told I could not return the game because they were able to install it on the store's ps5. So now Im out $20 and a game I cant play. So much for customer service. If you are out here in the market for a pre-played game, go to Gamestop, as R.U. Game does not honor their word. Basically they robbed me for $20. I will never buy from them ever again, and will let anyone know I can how they treat customers. Untrustworthy, dishonest and terrible customer service is all they offer.

This shop is a haven for vintage toys, comics, and video games, offering a massive selection that spans decades and a vibe that feels like stepping into a time capsule. With its incredible inventory, passionate staff, and the option to pop in for a single find during the day, Retro Rat earns a well-deserved five stars. Walking into Retro Rat is like diving into a childhood dream. The shelves are packed with vintage action figures, from '80s Transformers to GI Joe and Star Wars classics, alongside newer collectibles like Funko Pops. The comic section is just as impressive, with everything from Silver Age Superman to modern indie titles, neatly organized for easy browsing. Their video game selection is a standout--retro cartridges for NES and Sega sit alongside PlayStation and Xbox gems, perfect for gamers looking to relive the past. The store even stocks trading cards, vintage tees, and board games, making it a one-stop shop for any pop culture fan. Retro Rat's community vibe sets it apart. They host events like trading card tournaments and retro gaming nights, creating a space where fans connect and share their passions. I don't make it to many of the events since I live across the bridge but The shop's clean and well-organized, with treasures displayed to spark excitement without overwhelming. Prices are fair--vintage figures range from $20 to $200 depending on rarity, comics are competitively priced, and games are often below market value for their condition. If I had a question, I was either "helped" with an annoyed monotone or a stifled laugh because... I don't know, I guess not knowing the name of certain cables and attachments makes me a plebeian fool? I avoided coming to this place like the plague for the longest time, but decided to return for curiosity's sake after learning that the previous staff had been replaced. Ever since the place changed owners, I can tell that they've had them focusing on making a more pleasant customer service experience. The weekend staff is so friendly and full of energy (I'm talking about YOU, Daniel), the shelves are always full and neat (except for the game guides. Most are well-used, so they unfortunately look like a frayed mess), and their selection is so wide, they even have some room for collectible goodies. The prices are a little rough, but they do try their best to price below GameStop for newer titles. I thought the retro games were pretty costly, but honestly, it's usually close to the cost as if I were to get them on eBay and include shipping. Can't really fault them for that if they're trying to make a profit. If there's anything close to negative I have to say, it's probably that the place is getting a little too popular again? Because there are so many people coming in, having only two people running front desk at a time leaves the risk of customers waiting a long time for a simple transaction, since they also handle repairs and the like. Maybe have someone who doesn't run a register that goes around answering questions? Not sure, but I do get sad when I see somebody who has been waiting in line just sigh and walk off because front desk is still working on testing a traded-in console. I wish them the best and hope they grow enough to hire more staff!
