Purchased a bottle of rose for a gift. If I drove elsewhere I may have found the bottle for a little cheaper, but it's an independent shop & conveniently located for me so I didn't mind spending a little more. As I was paying, cashier asked if I wanted to sample a Korean strawberry soju. It was tasty so I bought a bottle. Noticed they had open bottles of whiskey & bourbon, which I assume customers may sample before deciding on purchasing a bottle. If I'm in the area again, I'd stop by to pick up a bottle or 2.

Also a cheese and snack section that was overlooked on this visit. I quickly was in the spirits section so looked at Scotches, some nice sale prices that I'll research in the future. In the tequila section I saw a unique mezcal and put it my cart right away. I didn't look at all the wines, just concentrated in Spain and Portugal, with the later having several nice options. Not the exact bottle I came in search of, but enough to find a substitute. I then turned my focus to beers. I think the selection was ok, not stellar. I didn't find anything new, but was happy to see offerings by some of the better local(NY, and Pa) breweries. I didn't leave empty handed. At the register the female cashier enrolled me in the bottle club, which immediately saved me $5 bucks! No email needed. Always clean and well stocked. It's just off the highway of 130. Plenty of parking even drive up. Employees are very helpful if you can't find what you're looking for. Prices are reasonable and they do run sales on wine and beer. So definitely worthy of all your cocktail drinking essentials for many check ins.

We wanted to try a bottle of wine, and he ordered a case for us. We said we just wanted to have one bottle and he got it for us anyway. Several years ago we ordered mini bottles of wine from him for our wedding. He gave us a great price and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Aside from all that, Jay knows just about every customer by name! He greets everyone when they come in, and treats them like gold. He is a very kind individual. They also remove the prices off their wine bottles so the bottle has a nice look if you are bringing it out or giving it as a gift. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the prices are slightly higher than the surrounding liquor stores, but not by much.

River Horse, Flying Fish--all the NJ brews you'd expect and then a nice selection of Left Hand, Rogue and the other usual suspects. The guy who rang us up didn't seem to know a ton about beer, but he was a nice enough guy. Next time I go there I may ask around to get a better feel for what liquors and beers they carry and why.
