We are still learning a routine and getting on tract but we are getting their. I can not express enough how grateful we are to be apart of this community!!! The communication between the office, teachers, students, and parents is impeccable! We are new this year and our transition has been flawless! I have a lot of questions as we have been through the ringer at previous schools do to covid and the office is always on top of it and ready to answer or help in anyway they can!!! Angela in the office has been my right hand person with this transition!!! Pastor Forest is always a joy to see every morning he truly does love his job and it shows!!! I have seen first hand how a teacher can make a difference in a child's life, we are only two months in and my daughter has crossed over to reading not being a chore!!! There library and teachers are just so amazing And I can not say enough how blessed we are to call harvest our home!

He was never in daycare so I was really nervous but so far he's been liking this school. This school was perfect for my son because we go to St. Thomas church as a family so my son is aware of the location and that made us feel more comfortable. He's only been attending this school for the past 2 months but he's already made a few friends and he's getting the hang of his schedule. I will post more when he's done with TK. We are hoping to have him attend here for another year. Private school can get pricey but we love how they teach our little one the importance of Jesus Christ and learning how to pray.

The teacher doesn't have any problem calling the parents when there is an issue in the class, but when the parent tries calling the teacher back multiple times in a matter of weeks to try to work on a solution together, but gets zero responses. Then it's your child's birthday and you call the teacher to find out when you can bring cup cakes and how many to bring utilizing both lines of communication recommended by the teacher, and still no response, so you bring 24 cupcakes and unfortunately there are 26 students!!!! How unfortunate for those students, and how ashamed should that teacher feel? But this isn't just recent, since day one, we have expressed our concerns with certain subjects that may be a struggle for our child with the school, and after many calls to the school, still no follow up. How are our children supposed to be successful if the school does not build rapport with the parents, especially when you receive a progress report stating "At Risk of Retention", but has not even returned phone calls regarding educational issues??? Adams Elementary is rated an "Improvement Needed" school and over the past few years, I have tried to maintain a positive attitude and thought they were improving and on the path to success. I can see I have clearly been mistaken and only hope the district team will reevaluate the leadership team and find some type of improvement for these children, who are our future, to have the opportunity to be successful by working as a team with the parents. A child's success cannot be done by just one teacher, or just one parent. It is a team effort, and Adams Elementary fails to see that! I was in the last class that was actually able to call it a junior high because the next year they condemned the main building and turned it into a middle school.... Didn't get a junior prom nor Junior high graduation.... The bureaucracy said that it would make us appreciate high School prom and graduations even more. And yeah I did graduate high school at Arlington high but I didn't get to go to the prom because nobody asked me. And you know what I never attended one of the high school reunions either!
