Amazing Teachers & Staff…read more The teachers make this school. They are so patient and kind to the children. The teachers talk with the kids and not at them. They just don't say, "NO, don't do that!", they explain why the behavior is not correct and lead them the correct direction. When I started looking for a school for my daughter I couldn't believer I found this amazing preschool in San Berdoo. The learning through art and use of Brain Gym is a rare find for this area. I did talk with the Director regarding the incident of unsupervised student, that happened before my child attended. I was informed that they have put new procedures in place that will prevent it from happening. I highly recommend this preschool.

One of these incidents involved my son being left alone while eating for at least 15 minutes. I have heard from other parents of concerning incidents involving the School Board and the Principal and have lost my faith in the ability of this school to focus on provoding and outstanding education for children by supporting their teachers with accountable and transparent mangement. All of the teachers my children had were outstanding, it is a pity that mangement has their head stuck in the sand.

I went to this elementary school when it first opened. I have no complaints about the teachers…read morebecause they were kind and had lesson plans. It was very rare to find a teacher who didn't care for her job. However, one teacher who didn't really care for her students was hired, but was fired for that very reason. The campus supervisors were also very kind, but didn't do anything if bullying was reported to them. I don't quite remember the name of the principal prior to Ms. Jacqueline Hall, but she also didn't do anything when bullying was reported. The principal before Ms. Hall didn't want to give consequences to the bullies, but pull out the kids who were bullied. Once Ms. Hall became principal, the school was a better environment.

A few rotten apples sure does ruin it for the teachers and staff that are passionate about what they do. Over the years there have been a number of incidents which have occurred, several meetings with the principal were held which amounted to nothing. Pure nonsense came out of the principles mouth so that we would be on our way. I have visited the school on several occasions, the office was in it utter chaos!!! The moment I entered the office door I counted at least eight students a few laying on the office floor!!! I literally had to step over a little girls head. I am insisting on changes being made!!! There is a lice epidemic in which my niece and nephews have come home with lice for the past two years!!! A year ago a student chopped off my nieces hair in the middle of class and now the student who was responsible for the incident is once again in her class!!! My nephews hands were bound behind his back with zip ties by his first grade teacher in front of the entire class!!! Because he was biting his nails!!! The teacher was reprimanded but later allowed back at the school. Today my nephew was punched in the eye by a fellow student, he was sent back to class and the excuse was that the incident would be investigated. This school is one of the worst I've ever encountered!!! Unfortunately it is the only school convenient for my brother and sister in laws hectic work schedules. From the onset, we received a very warm welcome from both staff and parents. One of the standout features of the school is the small class sizes. The dedication and care exhibited by the teachers and administrators is readily seen. Beyond academics, the school has fun events and activities for the students, both field trips and seasonal activities, creating opportunities for both learning and community. My boys always look forward to the activities. A Catholic, faith based education that aligns with our family morals and values was a must, and we see the school's emphasis on providing this kind of education, which is so comforting considering the current state of affairs. When I finally brought it up, they tried to blame her instead of the kids who were actually bullying her. The 6th-8th grade teachers clearly play favorites and have no clue how to handle bullying. After reporting it, the bullying got worse they called her a snitch. She was even made fun of inside the church. How is this allowed in a Catholic school? Absolutely shameful. Worst place to send your child.
