I wanted a tattoo with our fingerprints together in the shape of a heart with his EKG reading the hospital gave me. The first time I went, Dany and his team spent an hour just to make sure they could get a good imprint of my ringer finger. We tried several ways but none of them came out well. Instead of just making do with what he was able to get, he suggested putting it off in order to make sure I got a good imprint. He had no guarantees that I would be back, but he rather lose the money than give me a bad tattoo, especially given the purpose of it. But I did go back last night with everything ready, and he spent well over two hours crafting the tattoo, making sure it was what I wanted, that it looked good, and that it was positioned well. He even got my daughter involved in the conversation and sought her opinion, making her feel included. He wanted to be absolutely sure that it honored my husband as I wanted. Then we got started and talked the whole time and it wasn't nearly as painful as past tattoos have been. He is a wonderful human being who really cared about his job and making people happy with his art. I've never had a better experience getting tattoos and if I ever wanted another one, or when my kids are ready for one, there will be no reason to look at anyone else in the area. Thank you Dany. However, on a whim today I decided to give immortal art a call as I had noticed their shop while grabbing lunch. The kind lady over the phone stated that they don't do walk-ins, however, they can do same-day appointments. Thankfully, she told me that they had an opening in their schedule within the next 10 minutes. I immediately ran over and started the paperwork before getting my rook piercing lined up with Morgan. Morgan explained the process very quickly while sterilizing my ear, which I appreciated as I've had shops sit me through a whole long course before. I also appreciated that he took his time explaining the proper placement and anatomy of my ear. Overall the piercing itself was pretty quick and mostly painless as Morgan was super fast while putting the jewelry in. The piercing itself cost around $80 which I was extremely happy with!! I also visited with the two employees upfront and learned that they had been in business for about 30 years and all the lovely decor was put up by the owner. I don't know if you can see it too well in my photos, but there is a super cool skateboard deck wall in front of the parlors, as well as some awesome tattoo stencils all over. Overall, the whole process didn't take me more than 10 minutes and I absolutely love the vibe of the shop and I'll be back for more in the future.
