Great artists, cool shop, professional service. This isn't the place you wake up the next day and wonder why it says Glenda on your thigh. I recently lost my dog and Mark did such a great job that my tattoo looks exactly like him. The dog, not Mark. He was also very cool with pricing so I was able to tip. 5 stars easily. Couldn't be happier. read more

Consistency and Excellence .... over time I have been to Tami at Wise Magic Tattoo for cover ups and new Tatt's about 15 total now and every time the result is the OUTSTANDING !!! FROM THE CLEANLINESS OF THE SHOP TO THE QUALITY OF THE TATT'S IT IS ALWAYS GREAT !!! Also The ATMOSPHERE AND POSTIVE ENGENGY ! This is the only place to be. Fun to get a Tatt there. Tami just finished another Tatt for me that was prefect in placement and size , sharp clean lines and color....thank you so much ! Vince read more

I went in with a picture of a simple three vertical hearts tattoo to match what my daughter has on her wrist. A female artist, newer to the shop, but had been there prior to Covid (as she explained to me), drew up her version. I take responsibility for not saying how horrible it looked, but this truly is horrific work. Now that my tattoo is healed I have visited different tattoo shops to ask for their recommendations. All have said I'm looking at 5 sessions of laser removal or doing a cover up. Very disappointing as now my tattoo will not match my daughters, but at least I won't be embarrassed to show people. read more

I had a small butterfly and infinity sign on my side done first in Tucson. I ended up not loving it because the wingtips on the butterfly were thick and black, it blended too much with the blue of the butterfly. Part of the infinity sign like, bled into my skin (the lines weren't sharp). I called and Sybil helped me. She added some white dots to the wings and some white lines to the infinity sign just to brighten it up. The first time, it was hard to see, so I went back for a touch up, not only did she not charge me for the touch up, she made the dots bigger (the butterfly is really small), made more of them and fixed the blurry line of the infinity sign. She is a great artist, so friendly, the shop is very clean and I would recommend anyone wanting a tattoo to go to her. read more

I decided to get my first tattoo done here. I wanted something pretty easy and simple which was a butterfly. The artist I had was Keith and he insisted that the photos I was showing him of butterfly tattoos were photoshopped and it's impossible to tattoo a butterfly. Which I thought was an excuse when in reality he just didn't know how to do a butterfly tattoo. So here's the butterfly he decided to tattoo on me, it looks like an 8 year old drew it. It's complete TRASH. Keith is the worst tattoo artist ever, he doesn't know what he's doing. He needs to get fired or something. I DONT suggest him read more

I came here because of all the great reviews, and when getting my first tattoo I wanted to make sure it was done at a great place. Let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Mark, and made sure I was taken care of while he was finishing up the client before me. Once it was my turn I told him what I wanted and where, and he made sure to take his time to draw it up and made sure multiple times that I liked it before he started! When I told him it was my first tattoo he was very reassuring and made sure that I was comfortable and told me that if at anytime I needed him to stop he would! Great service!! These guys helped me out with a piercing tonight. They couldn't have been nicer. I will definitely be returning.

Called to try and make an appointment and the gentleman who answered was extremely rude. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I ended up just hanging up because I definitely don't want a tattoo from someone who treats their customers like that. read more

Kieth went way to deep on my Tattoo and created a major blow out. Looked like a big green blob on my forearm , Told me it would dissipate in time asked him to touch it up he said no.. Finally after eight months I decided his botched work was not going to disappear at all so I had it removed by laser at a cost of $230.00 That's after paying Wisemagic over $100 for the bad Tattoo. Go to another studio or another "Artist" ? for satisfactory results. read more

Eva pierced my ear just a few weeks ago and it was the most painless experience from start to finish. She was knowledgeable on the phone when I called, my piercing was my left ear after it had been sewn up and healed after tearing thru completely a few months ago. So I was nervous someone would ruin my ea When I got there she was ready to go, went over all the details, and jumped right in, which I really appreciated. She even followed up with me a few times to make sure I was healing well which I am! It's almost like it never happened and it perfectly matches my already pierced right ear. I would recommend her to ANY AND EVERYONE because she's clearly an expert, her demeanor is so calm and fun, and I got the feeling she actually cared about my well being. Can't give her enough stars! read more

When you're craving some ink "artwork" and you're realizing how permanent tattoos are... Then you really need to consider a shop where the artists are professional, honest and immaculate! Wisemagic is the place to go! Mark DiCarlo is beyond amazing! I'm 100% happy with my new piece. I followed Mark's care recommendations to the tee and in just 6 days I'm completely healed and sporting my new arm piece. The shop is a piece of art in itself. Thank you Mark, you rock! read more

OK, I am definitely not the know it all when it comes to tattoos, but my friend told me about Wise Magic when I was decided to get my first tattoo. I walked in their on a whim one day and I have to say that they did not make me feel stupid, though I definitely felt that way. I looked through the books to see if I liked anybodys art work. I was looking for somebody that was really good with color....and I noticed the Reverend Rad Chad's work. Ironically, it was the same guy that I was talking to when I came in. I booked an appt that day for a couple weeks later. A few days before, I walked in (when I was supposed to be at a party...shameful I know) and decided right then and there I was going to get it done. I loved his design of my plethora of stars and how he did the coloring (all purple) and shading was amazing! It was a painless experience as well and I loved it that my tattoo didn't look all red and puffy when it was done. I went to the party after and received compliments as well. ***Blush**** If and when I get tattoo #2 and #3...I am definitely going back there! read more

Interesting that all the 1-star and 2-star reviews for this place are filtered out to the "not recommended" section? I wasn't going to write one, because I was only trying to get a piercing rather than a tattoo, but the customer service was so poor, that something has to round-out the impression that this place only gets 5-star ratings! I contacted them numerous times times to inquire, but never received any reply of any kind in return. They must not want/need customers? Or they're closed permanently? Word to the wise: Always check the filtered ("not recommended") reviews before making a decision about what place to use for something as permanent as a tattoo! read more

On vacation, I wanted to get a quick tattoo as a commemoration of my trip. I'm pretty covered, so if I'm not in the process of a big tattoo, the only things I can get done are small, fill-in pieces. I wrote to them on Facebook prior to the shop opening that day and received a quick response. They had time right as the shop opened and Tanner worked on my arm. He was cool, did a good job on my piece, and didn't seem to have any problem at all with my early drop-in (some artists do exude attitude over these types of things, but Tanner was great). I'll be back, as my family has a house in Scottsdale and I plan on coming back often. Thanks guys! read more

Haven't gotten a tat -yet! Went for a piercing. These r the kinda places that, no, you wouldn't think to go for a regular "I'm going to get my ears pierced" kinda place. But yup, i did. I have 6 on my ears, 2 closed up, so i had them re-done. I had the preconcieved notion i would be scoffed at with such a miniscle request apon walking in - not so! I was treated with respect, & full service, as if i had never had something like this done before. (I was likely their easiest client ever - lol). I really appreciated not having eyes rolled at for such a tiny job. Talk about taking their job serious! Thanx! (maybe next time the tat.... u never know) read more
