The slot machines need allot of maintenance. The manager is very rude and should spend more time making sure all is ran well in the casinos , instead of taking all night with staff. The manager took it very personal because I told him of at least three slot machines sticking and not spinning and others without paper to print vouchers. This happened 12/27/25. We go to Mono Wind Casino at least 3 or 4 times a month. I am not really into gambling. But my wife enjoys playing the slot machines. So I go along and occasionally play myself. We live in Hanford California. So it's a nice drive up the CA 168 out of Fresno up to Auberry for us. Mono Wind isn't a very big Casino. But it's a lot of fun and we love coming here. There are plenty of machines to choose from and they also have a really great cafe where you can get something to eat. This is really why I am doing this review. The staff is so nice and the food is amazing. We were just telling one of the staff that we haven't had a bad experience ever eating here. From tri tip sandwiches to a ribeye and eggs breakfast to great burgers. They really do a great job. The prices are very reasonable as well. The one thing I wish they had is Wi-Fi. There is no signal once you get up there. At least for Verizon customers. Which is why I don't check in. But I wanted to do a review so people will get up here and support Mono Wind Casino. read more

This place looks like a trailer instead of a casino. You can't help but notice the missing ceiling tiles with hanging wires above your head. There are lots of Out of Order machines covered up with black trash bags. The machines that were working, did nothing but take my money and had no pay out at all - The only good thing was most of the people working here were friendly and they had cheap gas for $3.12 a gallon and a nice stray dog in the parking lot. read more

Just a good ole dive casino. The food, while a tad overpriced, is delicious. The bartender Sean is pretty cool. Friday thru Sunday beers on tap are $3 all day. You can't beat that! The employees a very friendly and hospitable however there's not to much to speak on if you don't win. This place is so crooked it's unbelievable how can the game commissioner be fair when big Sandy Mona wins is paying him I lost over $2000 and they know their machine is broken but yet they say it's not plus they banned me for life, how about that mono winds Casino one of their employees told me he's been working there for five years and never seen anybody win on the slot machine next to the bathroom men's bathroom then the manager Crystal said that's a lie she's only been work it's only been there for three years so she's not even telling the truth. Anyway, I'm going to do a thing on this drive where I'm going to just ask people not to gamble there go to table mountain or anywhere, but this place is place is a dump in a hole in the wall place. This was my second visit to Mono Wind Casino since I first visited it in 2016. I have to say the drive is beautiful, pleasant, and windy. It's about 40 minutes outside Fresno. It's small and has about 300 slots like it describes. I go this morning because I wanted to take a ride up to Shaver Lake. Thought I'd swing by on the way up, play a little, and get breakfast. I played for almost about an hour and a half on one of those Konami slots. I was betting $3.50 max. The payouts were pretty minuscule most of the time even though I was betting max and even when hitting what would seem like a good line hit. Kept playing and playing, up and down, up and down, till I was near $900 below. But then...I don't know how, but I seemed to have a lucky picking selective hand today. Right when I thought I was going to go home losing, I've hit a Maxi Progressive of $200 avg four times. I was making a comeback, till finally I hit a better bonus that paid well where I was $75 ahead from what I've began with. Then of course I said: Enough, town to cash out and run. For the restaurant: So I had brunch because it was Sunday. They only make breakfast up till noon. So I had a traditional American breakfast. Two scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and a delicious biscuit. It was pretty fair and good. The waitress was very nice, attentive, and friendly like they advertised. For the players club and customer service, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They even answered questions and gave me recommendations on what to check out at Shaver Lake. So it was a nice, fair, and fun visit. Would I come back? I'd say yes, when the occasion is right for it. Just don't assume you'll win easily, prepare for it to go either way or expect that you'll probably be playing a good chunk of time to try to win something. Good luck! read more

I really like that they have a good selection of older machines (that seem to pay off better, if you ask me) and they have a lot of great people that work there. Very disappointed. We went on a saturday and the restaurant closed at 7pm. We went to the bar and the staff was rude and was never there. I waited 10 plus minutes each time until someone showed up to the bar and it was terrible. I will not be going back or recommending it to anyone. If you are looking to get some good food this is the place. They have a good menu from breakfast to Dinner. The setting is nice with a Oak tree in-cased in glass in the middle of the restaurant. The staff is very friendly. The chef Jim Flanigan is an amazing cook and if you have any complaints he will do what he can to correct it. They have large breakfast burritos. Big ham and eggs. For Lunch I love to get the Grilled Chicken Wrap. They have amazing burgers The Western, Regular burgers and The awesome Jimmy burger. It is a burger with a chicken patty in it Yummy!. Not to mention the fries are so good you can reheat them up later. Dinner You have a good selection of steaks and other items. You get some good specials some are weekly and some come and go. Well, its takes awhile to get there, many twists and turns, especially at night, but it is really beautiful and quiet up there, just some dogs walking around in the parking lot. Great restaurant and service, went for the prime rib special, great food and friendly service, made you feel right at home. Won a little money, not many people up there unlike Table Mountain which was packed like sardines in a can even on a thursday night. There are two very distinct areas to this casino - one in which you CAN breathe, and one in which you CANNOT (at least not without a gas mask and carbon monoxide monitor). Our first warning in the second area should have been the numerous floor fans and gray haze of nicotine smoke. Machines in both areas provided mediocre (at best) payouts, and were not as "updated" as the website claims. The restaurant (quite small) did offer a delicious prime rib dinner for $13.99 (on a Friday), and overly generous fish n' chips meal. To be quite honest - don't think we'll return. Only complaint I have is that there is only one place to choose to eat and food is adequate with a very limited menu and I feel a bit pricey.
