Decided to check this place out because it was near our airbnb. The place was pretty packed because there was an Iceland vs France soccer Euro cup game going on. I ordered the pineapple express burger, which comes with chicken breast, onions, bacon, and pineapple. If each bite has all the flavors it tasted amazing cause the ingredients complimented each other very well. A few bites were OK if it only had like the chicken breast or something. There is also a Yelp check-in offer that gives you a complimentary free beer. The waiter accidentally charged me for that free beer, so make sure to check your bill! Service was okay as the doesn't patrol around much, so go to the bar to get their attention and pay your bill. read more

Is it weird that France does burgers better than most places in the USA? Honestly it makes sense to me..they care more about the ingredients. The cheese is better, the meat is better, even the buns and fries are amazing! This place is a popular night spot. They have some awesome live music and really good crowds. We sat at a large table with some folks from the UK that were really fun chat with. The service was pretty good for how busy it was too! Drinks were refilled quick and food came out in a timely manner. They have some pretty good beers on tap too! Like I said above the burger was awesome. Perfectly cooked beef with amazing cheese. Great little pub in a secluded portion of chamonix! After being bombarded with French menus it was nice to finally have one in English and after browsing for awhile I ordered the biggie smalls burger and was not disappointed with the portion size nor the quality of the burger. The scene around here is super relaxing at night and they have quiet music that suits my tastes playing in the background. All around a great place to wind down or have a chat with friends for the night. read more

We included a few days in beautiful Chamonix in mid May during a recent trip to France. The first night we used Yelp to find a restaurant. This listing showed rave reviews and open hours but when we arrived they were closed until early June. Some local businesses in Chamonix often close after ski season until early June. Owner needs to keep websites and Yelp informed. I can't critique the good, staff or value but the 1star is for inconveniencing potential customers. read more

Food: Fresh and well prepared fare ranging from pub food to more healthful options. Fancy burgers to Quinoa bowls, both well executed and flavorful. Our group also enjoyed the Tacos. The veggie breakfast burrito was one of the best I have ever had. Service: Prompt, helpful, and a little cheeky. Ambiance: Loud and boisterous in the evening. So good! We drove over from the Italian side and it was solidly worth the drive. The tacos were fantastic ( I recommend the pork shoulder taco) and the rest of the food as well. Great service. I was raised in California and have lived in Europe for a long time and this place is the best Mexican food I have eaten in Europe and rivals Mexican food I have eaten in the states. I usually cook at home in Chamonix, but finally ventured out to this spot. Great experience!! Food was awesome!! Had The Dude with sweet potato fries. Spot on for each. Didn't even realize the sandwiches were half-off that night until I got the bill. Nice surprise! Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without being invasive. The only downside was that we had to sit inside instead of out, just because the weather was so nice and we just missed the last open table. Life could be worse read more

Awesome place. Good food and great value for money , we have had a quite a few meals there lunch and dinner and were really well looked after. The burgers are some of the best we've ever had, and the sticky toffee pudding is amazing. It's a busy , vibrant bar with a great atmosphere . We really enjoyed having cocktails on the terrace looking at the view of the mountains as the sun sets and turns them pink , beautiful. read more

Good "Monkey IPA" to divert from the crappy French beer found elsewhere in Chamonix. Good pub fare, reasonable prices. Located in Cham Sud and a favourite haunt of ex-pats and resort staff. Occasional live music, sport on the telly and good beer (with regular happy hours), the Sunday lunches are also a treat and reasonably priced. read more

Laid back atmosphere and the food delivers. Happened to come here on taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. I had been tempted to avoid this place because I didn't want to be the cliche American eating in the joint that felt most like home, but the reviews I read pushed me through the doors and am soo glad they did. Ive been coming to this place for years but after today Ive had it.There are 2 things that are always consistent here- the food is excellent and the service is completely terrible. Being a restauranteur myself I probably notice a little more than most and I would never usually name and shame but I feel the owner of this place deserves it flourish. 2 members of staff stand out for me on this occasion. The absolutely useless Irish guy with the curly hair, in way over his head with a whopping 4 tables to take care of. The other, although great a cooking is the chef. Being told you cant order eggs, bacon and hash browns from the breakfast menu is absolutely unacceptable. Why cook 9 ingredients that are unwanted but still incorporate the above three? Its nonsensical. We we're told by the Irish guy that he would 'try' but the chef is really moody and he will probably say no. Irish guy returns and says and says 'told you so'. A shamble of the service industry. We waited 50 minutes for really good food but I'm through giving this place any more money. Sort your staff out and you have a real triumph of a place. read more

Love this place. Great for live music and bar vibe but also serves seriously good food. The burgers are some of the best in town - and their tacos are pretty good too. But best of all they do really good salads and decent veggie and vegan options - none of which are easy to find in ski resorts. Head here whenever we are in Cham - lunch and in the evenings. This place has it's ups and downs. The food on one hand is delicious! I had the Chuck Norris and was happy I did. It was juicy and tender! On the other hand the place was extremely crowded and the music was very loud. One of the servers we had was kind and welcoming. She was a young blonde woman. The other server unfortunately was quite rude. I believe she went by Amal. She pushed me to the side to get to a table which I understand, it was crowded, but there a better ways of doing it like asking to move or saying excuse me. I decided to let it go, it happens. Later on I placed my freezing water near a candle in order to warm it up a bit (I have extremely sensitive teeth and didn't want to be difficult. It was busy and I didn't want to nuisance her with room temp water.) The same server decides to take the water out of my hands slam it on the side of the table and yell no (for having placed my glass of water near a candle).... I wanted to explain things to her but she left quickly after yelling no to me in front of everyone. Maybe she was having a stressful night (if she was I understand, I've been a server, it's not easy). However that's no way to treat a customer. Overall if your looking for a good bite to eat and don't mind loud music or crowds this is the place for you. read more
