We travel all over the country...in small resort towns/communities like this you get one of two experiences 1) they make you feel welcome, like you live there...and it makes you want to live there! Or 2) You are a tourist and we can't be bothered. Two of the employees, a tall older lady...and a younger gal stood in the middle of the clothing section complaining about how crowded the store was, and how they couldn't wait for the sale to be over. Ummmm what? There were four of us shoppers (didn't know one another) all looking at one another like "They can see us right?" Another gal had questions about some art on the wall, and she could not get anyone to help her. I had 10 items to try on, you can only take 5 in...so while I was trying on the first 5, the sales woman kept apologizing to those waiting saying "she has a lot of stuff, so sorry" Sooo I didn't try on the other five. Bought three of the first 5 and felt very rushed. Bottom line I think the locals and their family/friends keep them busy enough, so no need to worry about the tourists. That's the vibe. The sales team needs to be a little more aware that we are in the store for an experience, not because we have nowhere else to shop.

My friend purchased a purse and after buying it, she noticed it had a white line of glue along the outside. About 5 minutes after purchasing the bag, my friend brought it back and they wouldn't refund her. Their return policy is store credit only. My friend found another bag to swap with the original and after tax, she owed $.92. The women at the front counter were giving her a hard time and finally, another employee came over to tell her it was fine and to just take it. While my friend should have checked the bag more thoroughly, for being a "faith-based" store, they absolutely do not care about customer experiences or the quality of the goods they sell. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this is not a good store to support.

I had no idea that they carried all these brands, most of which I thought were only available via internet or in boutiques in larger cities. Well done, Lemon Twist. I wouldn't come here expecting any bargains, but for a preppy splurge in NE Florida, The Lemon Twist fits the bill!
