This amazing, beautiful building sits at the center of town and cannot be missed!…read more The restaurant and taproom is under new management as of spring 2025 and the difference is night and day! Where it used to be high priced and stuffy, now it's approachable yet really beautifully executed plates! There are a variety of seating options from the more casual taproom side to the elegant dining room and beautiful porch overlooking Main Street! Service is warm and attentive. You can tell that the staff really cares about the customer experience! The menu has a little bit of everything, from tasty wings with special "Hotel" sauce, green curry mussels, which were probably one of the best appetizers I've ever had... there are a variety of handhelds on the menu, their burger was huge and from a nearby farm - probably the best burger I've had in a long time! For entrées, the chicken Parm looked delicious.... There were a number of seafood dishes available, but the Osso Buco feature was the stuff that dreams are made of! The bartenders were really knowledgeable and friendly, servers seemedlike they were all best friends and the food runner was memorable as well! We are so happy to see the Naples Hotel on the upswing after a rocky few years. I would confidently recommend this restaurant to any of my friends passing through town.

We ordered calamari and on the menu it claimed to have cherry peppers added. No cherry peppers here. Our waitress passed by us a lot without coming to our table to refill drinks. I had to literally wave her down. The food took two hours. Now the food once it arrived was very yummy. They have great potential, but this always happens when we come here.

The grounds are well manicured. The bed was comfortable and the pillows are plentiful. The location cannot be beat. We had dinner and drinks at the Blue Pointe Grille the night we arrived. I was a little hesitant to eat at the hotel restaurant. I was bracing to be disappointed. Service was on point and cocktails were well made. Food was delicious. We had a high top in the bar right near a window for a nice view of the lake. Highly recommend.

It's rare that I'm dazzled by a hotel or feel that it's worth the money (they're all stupid…read moreexpensive these days), but Harbor Hotel was a wonderful experience I'd recommend to anyone. Don't get me wrong, it's expensive. But for once I felt like I'd gotten my money's worth! Everything everywhere was meticulously clean and well-kept. Our room was spacious and bright, with a private balcony and chairs, a couch and coffee table, and a full table that allowed us to take comfortable advantage of the room service breakfast. Potpourri sachets in the closet, free water bottles in the lobby, free coffee stations on each floor, and chocolates every night on the pillows--details, people! We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, and of course the gorgeous patio and firepits overlooking the lake which was 80% of the reason we booked here. All of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the housekeepers, were very friendly. I did think it was a little strange that the fitness center was in a whole different building and you have to walk across the parking lot to get to it, but hey--you get your steps in. The hotel is also very centrally located. On the water, of course, but next door to Seneca Harbor Station from which you can book lake cruises. It's also less than a mile from the entrance to Watkins Glen State Park and hiking trails and only a 5-10 minute walk from most restaurants. We did most things on foot. When you do get back in the car, there are multiple wineries within a 15-minute drive. The only problem the whole visit was the hotel internet, which was terrible every day. You could make do in the daytime, but at night, when everyone was back in their rooms after the day out exploring, it was slow to the point of unusable, and I ended up turning on my data hotspot to even be able to check my email. I would not suggest bringing time-sensitive work with you, and you should not expect to be able to stream videos on your devices. Just disconnect, you'll be less frustrated. There is an onsite restaurant and bar, and while it's nothing mind-blowing, it is a nice option to have (and is one of the few "higher end" type places in Watkins Glen). Menu includes a few of the standard local wines, which was nice!

I would love to give this 5 stars again, however,…read morebeing this was our 4th time staying at the property, we noticed some things needing upgrades or fixing. Most of them seem really simple to fix, so I was a little let down that as busy as they are and as hard as it is to get reservations that they dont carve out time to upgrade. The bed was so uncomfortable that you sink in the middle. My husband ended up sleeping on the twin bunk because he suffers with back pain and couldn't tolerate the mattress. The couch is also pretty sunken in and at a strange slope. Its a pretty couch but not comfortable. The jets in the hot tub need major cleaning. The shower curtain is pretty disgusting and needs to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. The condition of the pots and pans are unacceptable. It would be nice to have some disinfectant spray to clean the counters and tables and a new sponge for washing dishes. I think a privacy curtain would be excellent for the front door. Being able to see through as the breakfast gets delivered is not ideal or private. Overall, we had a nice stay here and would probably come again if these issues were updated. The cabin is private and quiet. The trails are a nice feature to walk around in. The location was great.

The cabin itself was spotless. I have stayed in other cabins upstate and this was definitely the cleanest. I'm allergic to cats and dogs and was worried about pet hair but there wasn't any and my allergies were fine! Corrissa, who manages the property is absolutely wonderful. She's friendly and was very attentive to our needs/always available should we need anything. She also gave us some wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thanks, Corrissa! Mary, who brought tasty breakfasts was also delightful. The cabin also has a washer and dryer which came in handy. As for the location, it's perfect, close to trails and some wonderful wineries. We can't recommend this cabin enough!
