So it was time to make a move, run for The Hills, and become a first time homeowner. I had a few things in mind I was looking for and needed someone to help me reach for the stars and join the "Hollywood Elite." Or you might say, someone that'd be "Selling Sunset" to me. Cue the music and enter realtor Becca Liang! This is the part of the movie where they play a montage consisting of all the pivotal moments in my home buying process climaxing with the ultimate triumphs of getting the offer accepted and closing escrow. *Home Search: Becca took the time to determine the specific features I desired (high ceilings and a roofdeck, for example) and just as importantly, what I wasn't looking for *Showings: Once we identified a few properties that checked the boxes and seemed up to my standards, she scheduled all the appointments to maximize the best use of my time *Offer: when I was ready to pull the trigger, we collaborated on the best approach to make an offer that'd be accepted, without risking the seller countering or another buyer swooping in (spoiler alert: it worked) *Paperwork: when you don't have a printer at home and there's 80 million things required to sign as part of any real estate transaction, no worries, Becca geared everthing up for me to easily do online via DocuSign. She was also extremely responsive when I had a question, or 2, or 3 about some of the items Normally I prefer to handle a lot of things on my own, but I needed a dedicated professional that I could rely on and trust for this huge transaction. With her performance and results, I'd have to nominate Becca for an Oscar (if they had Award shows for real estate agents). Since they apparently don't do those (yet), hopefully my 5 star review and strong recommendation is an acceptable substitute.

She understands the local market very well and took the time to explain everything clearly so I could make confident decisions. What I appreciated most is that she really tailors everything to your needs. She listened carefully to what my family was looking for and helped us focus on the homes that were the best fit, instead of wasting time. Even though she is very busy, her team -- including Aurora and Anny -- is organized, responsive, and always ready to help. Gloria also has excellent connections with lenders. She introduced us to Karena for the mortgage loan, and together they made the loan approval process very smooth and seamless. They helped me secure a very competitive, hard-to-beat rate in this market. Overall, Gloria and her team are smart, strong, and efficient. I would highly recommend Gloria Xiao to anyone looking for a real estate agent who is knowledgeable, professional, and truly works in your best interest.

My husband and I will honestly miss our daily group chats with them as they became friends to us. Monica helped us purchase our new replacement home at the same time we were selling our house and made the process not only easy, but also fun. We took her card and ended up calling her about a month later when we were more interested in selling our home and finding our forever home. She met with us, asked lots of questions about our goals and realistic expectations. We decided again, we weren't quite ready and let her know we would reach out when we were. Again, not pushy with us and respected our decision. Fast forward another 6 months and we decided we were really ready. We met several other realtors within that 6 months but decided we liked Angelina and her team and called her back. We sold and bought our dream home within a month. Angelina was amazing every step of the way. She responded quickly to all of our calls/texts. Communicated all updates in a timely manner. She ended up getting us over $100k more than our asking price, which was amazing! We went back and forth with her about our budget for our dream home and never showed any frustration with our constant changes. When we were in escrow on the new home, we had an issue with our inspector not wanting to go in the crawl space because he "thought" we had critters and refused to come back until we were able to show that we didn't. Angelina, just as frustrated as we were, brought her own traps and went into the crawl space on her own and set the traps the inspector requested. She knew what needed to happen and got the job done, which I truly respected. She doesn't talk your ear off, she is an active listener and great communicator. What I think I liked the most was she never came across as someone she isn't. I've met a lot of realtors and a lot seem to try to show off their accomplishments and act flashy and brag. That doesn't impress me and really, it makes me uncomfortable. I want someone who is going to understand my wants and needs and help me achieve that without having to brag about what she's done. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will be reaching out to Angelina and her team! We cannot thank you enough!!
