I had to laugh when I went to write my review, because I never checked Yelp before eating here. Mostly because Huhot Mongolian is one of my faves and figured I couldn't go wrong trying this place. When I logged in to post my review, I see "cook on his phone" from two years ago. Well, that hasn't changed The good:. The food was actually delicious, I could eat here on the regular if it wasn't for the other issues. A young man who wasn't our server or the cook, checked on us to see how we were and was very friendly. He had no dog in the fight, just seemed to be the only one interested in us being happy with our experience. He's probably the one you need running the place. The bad: As stated in a two year old review, cook on his phone, never said two words to us. Just pushed the food around with a stick when he wasn't texting. The place is filthy. It seriously needs to close for a week and deep clean. It has a ton of potential if you can only get some people who care about it. Food on the floor, grill looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. (We were there in evening) The decor is dated and so are the colors. Again, that can be overlooked if it's clean. But ugly walls and filthy floors do not make you want to return. Even though the food is greatA, I doubt I'd return. Cleanliness is a huge issue for me being a transplant patient. I can't afford to get food poisoning or bacteria from old food. Not that it was an issue this time, but when everything else is so dirty it makes you wonder if food dates are checked and things like that. I prefer to eat local, so if the owner reads this, I sure hope you can address some of the issues you have and apparently have had for a while. read more

We walked in and sat ourselves and then walked thru the line. It's been probably 9 years since I have been here, lol and it hasn't changed at all. I found the booths terribly worn and taped up, clutter around the place and not real clean. The area where you get your food had food laying everywhere, geez man, clean it up. And while standing in line the man grabbed our bowls and the only thing he said to me was "soy sauce?" The floor was sticky from Spilled sauces and never asked if I wanted the spicy sauces which I saw after the food was done. We sat down and then had to go get bottled water from the front and also napkins. The waiter brought us a ticket and 2 to go boxes that we did not ask for. Meanwhile, he never came back to check on us all the while bringing others silverware, drinks, soups etc. On a scale of 5 being best: Food 3 (was good) Place 2 Service 2 Price 3 Overall 2.5 When we left to pay, he never asked us how it was. It always smells so good, but I always leave sad. Pretty sure the cook, today, dislikes his job. I asked for hot and my husband asked for medium sauce. We each got the opposite. About a quarter way through my bowl, I found the tip of a dispenser. The hostess said she'd "let them know." I knew better, but was at Home Depot and could smell Mongolian Grill in the air. The food was terrible and the establishment was a mess. The meat is completely frozen, there are limited options. And the counter was flooded with soy sauce. The grill and grill area were completely disgusting. They don't clean the grill between different orders and use what appear to be a yard stick to cook. The cook even ate some of my food off the grill, touched his face and didnt wash his hands. The egg drop soup didn't have any egg and look more like nasty frozen vegetables water and put some chicken in it. The rice is par boiled and looked microwaved. read more

I was excited to try this based on Google reviews. But Yelp reviews have been proven truthful. There was one other person here before us but they got their food to leave. The walls are a salmon color, and while it's somewhat cozy, the atmosphere is lacking. The low hum of electricity and practically no music hurts my ears, I feel like I changed elevations sitting in there. I can hear the music if there's no talking or slamming of knives in the back. The photo next to our table had what I hope was food splattered on it. The cook was on the phone the whole time and didn't really mix the food, just pushed it around so the sane part of the food was on the grill at all times. The floor is filthy. I don't think it's been cleaned in the past week. There's spilled, I think juice? under many of the tables and food littering the floor. I stepped on an old piece of beef and almost slipped. Ew. The food is decent. The buffet is lacking. There were many of the same items but it's clear that some of the boxes of food, like the second box of zucchini, have been there for a while. The green peppers are sliced too big. They have on type of noodle, which isn't a big deal, but nothing is labeled, and if it was, it was labeled incorrectly. If I didn't know what the food was before I grabbed it, I wouldn't have known. The cabbage soup they brought to us was lukewarm and flavorless, the rice was burnt like it was sitting in the cooker for too long. The soy sauce on the table tastes old and like they added sugar. I have never been to a worse Mongolian grill. Limited sauces, and ingredients. When they put your food on the grill they use the water typically used to clean the grill. They also dump soy sauce on your food without asking. If you want any spice at all the person at the grill is the only one who determines how much you get. The edge of the grill was filthy and covered in old food and grease... hope none of that gets swept into your bowl when they scoop it off the grill. Not sure how often anything gets cleaned there were pieces of old rubber gloves in the tray under the grill. Your feet stuck to the floor in the bathrooms and the chairs were just as sticky. This was once one of my favorite places in town. Went tonight and it was awful. The place is absolutely filthy from the entrance to the tables to the counter tops and the employees. The lady that sat us was pleasant. The food seemed fresh ish. The man cooking the food was dressed in extremely tattered and dirty clothing and was extremely unpleasant as he stared at the other people coming through the door with a smirk like he didn't want to do his job. The food did taste good, the green tea was great. All in all I hope they turn it around it was once a gem. No I don't recommend going at all. For being one of two tables, I would expect the place to be spotless but no. So sad. read more

I love Mongolian BBQ, but I I can't love an unsafe and filthy dining area. The tables were quite nasty, the floors were covered in food and sticky sauces. The worst part was the food bar. I get it, letting people make their dish is a messy deal. But these guys can't keep anything clean. When leaving raw meats and produce out, this is a terrifying thing. This was absolutely the most disgusting place I have eaten in Casper. The fact that it is still in business amazes me. The food on the bar was all old and brown, there was dirt and grease caked on the light fixtures, and underneath the cooking grill looked like it had never been cleaned. Well, first off I have to say that it is good that there is a Mongolian grill in Casper! I was happy to find this place... Food is nothing special though, although as I recall it was OK. In Los Angeles or San Francisco a place like this would have no customers, because it is so inferior to what can be found there.. But in Wyoming one does not have many options.. Not a particularly clean place, and nothing about the atmosphere is inviting, just a strip mall place with cheap tables and chairs.. We love Mongolian food. We came here for the first time ever and had a small bowl and had put on a little extra meat since our bowl could only hold so much on the way they are made. The waitress wanted to charge us for a price of their large bowl. We took our bowl to the manager and told him that what they were doing is charging us for a large bowl price when it was a smaller bowl. We will never do business here again. read more
