Our group of 6 was hankering for something sweet after dinner, so we got here just before 9pm and lo and behold, it was jam packed! Though it's pegged as a dessert house, I was surprised to find lots of savoury meal options as well.
But savoury wasn't on our minds this fine evening, we wanted to try some desserts that, for some may have been considered unusual or different, and for others reminded them of home. I guess for me it was a bit of both. I am usually a mango junkie (and yes there was an entire section of the menu dedicated to the best fruit in the world) but I opted for a hot dessert in the form of black sesame glutinous rice balls with sweet ginger soup. It was my first time trying it and instantly loved it!
It's quite noisy inside so you'd have to speak with a bit of volume to be heard. But it's a good venue for groups, especially if y'all don't feel like going home early (they open late). read more
