Took my Sister to Moneytree so she could take care of some business. The entire store was very clean and actually smelled decent,lol. The customer service was great considering the banks were about to close but they still provided excellent service for my Sister. If you owe money but you find yourself needing to cash a check they will allow you to pay a percentage of what's owed so you don't need to worry about walking out with little money. read more

My auntie sent me a personal check from out of state and I was worried I would not be able to cash it anyplace, but Moneytree handled it - and the fee wasn't too terrible - only 7% of the total amount. Could have been much worse, considering. I'm glad these guys exist for us. read more

This place really saves your butt when you lose your checking account. I had someone steal my banking card and rack up a whole bunch of overdraft fees which I had a hard time disputing and paying back. It is expensive to get loans here but at least they are upfront with you about the cost they show the exact fee for the loans instead of giving you a percentage which can be misleading. Cashing checks can get pricey I think payroll cashing is a bit less than cashing money orders or personal checks. Very very clean atmosphere always plenty of cashiers they are always very personable and friendly. Don't get a loan here if you live paycheck to paycheck because you have to pay it back when you get paid and just have to re-borrow the money again to pay your bills and you can get into a vicious cycle and lose 100s of dollars a month. It is best to use if you have unexpected expense and you need money fast one time. Their debit card is great. My ex pays me child support through this card at the Money Tree an hour from here he loads it and I go in and pull money off the card no fee. You can use the debit card online for only 1 dollar fee which is nice instead of paying 4 dollars to load a debit card from walmart. If you are buying a lot online use the walmart card if you are buying just one huge big thing use Money Tree debit card. read more
