Shedrow, a Canadian brand of dog coats is IT. Got a cute coat for my pup, and was tempted by many of their other offerings, but a girl's suitcase is only so large. This shop had a great selection of all sorts of pet products, and way nicer outerwear (Duh, it's Canadian) than anyplace I've seen in the US.

I returned them to the store to tell them "hey this is super dangerous for dogs, my puppy has already consumed some of the plastic and I really hate to think what a dog larger than 3 lbs can do to these toys" and they couldn't care less. And it is a small store, but they once gave me a can of food to have my pet try, so they will always be in my good books. A few years ago they let me in the back to visit the kittens and I had a great time. They don't do that anymore, but the memory is wonderful and that makes them wonderful.

Since I was only in quickly for a small specific item, but in a short time I had a fast look around and noticed the shop looked very cute and pleasantly laid out. Not a huge space, but seemed to have a good selection of supplies. The staff were welcoming and friendly and fit well with the boutique feel.

We came across Pattes et Griffes on Mont-Royal which is another chain pet store like Mondou. They had a LOT of merchandise in this location so it was quite right, and there was also a LOT of people so it was even tighter. COVID wise this was a bit of a concern but at the same time it's an essential service and I appreciate that people are so supportive of their pets and a pet store. The five stars comes from the exceptional service we received from the folks working there. They heard us taking about our cat needing a harness and they immediately pointed us to the right direction. When they saw we needed help, they came to us and helped. They even let Kimchi try on the harnesses for sizing! They were honestly so nice and we really appreciated their time. Overall, a great experience in this pet store.
