Mom said we were just going into Mondou to "look."Experienced dogs know this is never true.
Almost immediately, one of the lovely employees came over, got right down on my level and offered me a beef-and-pumpkin treat. It was sort of like a little cracker. Excellent.
Finally, a store that understands I am the customer.
While I handled the complimentary refreshments and greeted another dog who was also shopping, Mom discovered the merchandise. This is where things escalated.
Mondou has a surprisingly great selection of harnesses and collars, including lots of patterns and designs instead of just the usual solid colors. They were also starting to put out the Halloween merchandise. Mom became very focused.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful while she shopped, and at some point I tested one of the display beds because obviously somebody needed to perform quality control.
By the time we left, Mom had purchased me a new travel bed, blanket, harness AND collar.
We came in to "look." I cannot stress this enough.
As an international traveler, I do support investing in proper accommodations. I'm just not entirely sure why Dad keeps looking at the receipts.
