Good, but not unique…read more.. One of my biggest pet peeves is Mexican restaurants that are exactly like all the rest - I appreciate when a Mexican restaurant does something to make it stand out from the rest. This is a good restaurant with good food, good service, and the same stuff as most every other Mexican restaurant in the city. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad place - it is a place like so many others with the same menu. Even the interior and ambiance is the similar to restaurants in the area

I commented on the small portions but was told by the server that shrimp is very expensive. Very dismissive with no concern or caring that I wasn't satisfied. All of the ingredients would have made for one medium size taco, not two tacos. Won't return to this location based on the quantity of food and attitude of the server. Other locations for this chain had much better portions.

Chips and cheese dip were good but Salsa was just canned tomato with a few onions and jalapeños. Very disappointed. It's a reasonable price but this is a place for just local people who don't really care much for food to meet their Mexican cravings. There are better places. Service was fast but we saw waiter throwing the knife and fork set to next table made me not comfortable.

If you get a pitcher they literally give you a drink dispenser of margaritas. Even top shelf stuff is a bit overpowered by the overly sweet and syrupy commercial sour mix they use. We did go there a couple of weeks ago with our dog and were told to just walk around the side and take a seat on the patio with no actual assurance that someone would be out to help us. Well, we got around the corner and that patio looked like a bomb had gone off. Every table had nasty dishes and trash all over them, napkins on the ground... it was disgusting! I walked back around and stuck my head in and just told the guy we were leaving because the patio looked like a war zone. He just looked at me like he could absolutely care less and said, "ok."

We asked for menus and after receiving them, we waited another 10 minutes. She took one drink order, made the drink, then came back for the other order and took 15 minutes to bring the drink. When the second drink was brought, we asked for chips and salsa. She immediately grabbed a bowl of chips, then handed them to the couple sitting next to us. 20 minutes later, she came back and asked if we needed anything. Only then did she remember what we had asked for. Never asked if we wanted a second round or if we wanted to order food. She then approached us and asked if she could cash our check out because they were doing a shift change and she wanted credit for our ticket. Worst service I've had here and it was very enraging, we usually love this place. Definitely will hesitate to go back because of her terrible service. Stars are simply because the chips and salsa were great and the guava margarita and big orange margarita were very good.

The staff was pleasant and made an effort to take care of us, but the overall execution could have been better. The food was average at best. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really impressed us or stood out as something we would be excited to come back for. We expected a little more based on the overall experience and left feeling underwhelmed. The ambiance had some positives -- the atmosphere had a nice feel and the setting had potential -- but it didn't fully match the experience we were hoping for. There were some good elements, but it didn't create the kind of memorable dining experience we were looking for. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit, but it also wasn't one that left us wanting to return. We appreciate the effort from the staff, but considering the average food and overall experience, we don't plan on returning.

Me and Alfred came for dinner around 7pm, this place used to be packed but it's a ghost town now. There were only 3 tables sat including us and the food took forever. All in all horrible place they will go under once the New Mexican restaurant opens in Seymour.

The service is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Gives you a family owned feeling. We started with the Papusa's. So fresh and tasty. The masa was delicious and they were very cheesy. I could've ate this for the entire meal. I had the fried chicken on top of plantains covered in cabbage and tomatoes with salsa and drenched in a fantastic tangy crema. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Jacob had the same as I, but with beef. The ground beef was so tasty. I could eat here every week. I have never had Honduran food before, so I don't know if I can say the following statement. But, I felt like grandma was in the back making a real authentic family meal.

The papusas were everything one could want and more. Cheesy, thick, and topped with a tangy curtido.
