A full parking lot is always a positive sign for a restaurant. Having always seen many cars in Agave de Oro's lot, we decided to stop in one Saturday after church. It was awesome and we have since returned.
Upon entering we were greeted warmly. Despite being medium-small inside you do not feel crowded regardless of where you sit, table or booth. Seating is flexible so if you have a large group smaller tables can be pushed together. While there is outside seating, it is very limited, in the sunniest location (not good for summertime TN), and very close to the parking lot.
Our waiters have always been very friendly, personable, and attentive without hovering. Along with the requisite bowl of chips you get salsa and refried beans. We also ordered the chese dip which was so good I thought my husband was going to eat it with his straw. The cheese dip and chips are also available for take out. My margaritas are always tasty and deceptively strong without appearing so. I ordered the special burrito and my husband, quesadilla. The servings were plentiful and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. We both commented on how much lighter and fresher the food tasted vs. at other Mexican restaurants we've eaten at.
