The arrangement looked nothing like the picture. The balloons were not worth the money paid for them. The card was not a card but a slip of paper that looked like a child did it. The flowers looked almost dead. They were not the same colors you offered in the picture. It did not contain extra flowers that I paid the up graded price for. I have never been so embarrassed at what I had to give my wife on Valentine's Day. They should refund my money. read more

The only reason why they're getting three stars is because the flowers we did receive were gorgeously done. However, the way things were handled when we did not receive two of the three bouquets I ordered for my Mother's memorial was horrible. The morning of my Mom's memorial, the driver called saying nobody was there at the restaurant (they showed up before it was open). He also said there was only one bouquet out of the three bouquets we ordered ready. They had not made the other two bouquets because the designer didn't order enough flowers. When asked what we wanted to do, we said to make those other two with whatever white flowers they had on hand (which they agreed to). But, we never received the two missing flower bouquets. After the event, I tried to call but Mona's was closed. So, I emailed them and got an email back saying "I wanted to confirm that a redelivery was completed and the missing bouquets were provided ahead of your event. We understand how important this was for your family gathering and appreciate your patience while we resolved the issue." I forwarded this note to the restaurant event manager. Mona's never followed up to resolve the issue. So, I called Mona's six days after my initial email outreach. Mona herself called back and argued with me for about 10 minutes on the phone. She kept saying "But the two missing bouquets were dropped off ahead of the event and signed for by the workers at the restaurant." I reached back out to the restaurant event manager who said the two missing bouquets weren't found until later in the day. The delivery time on them said 1:45pm (almost 2 hours after the event started) and had NO NAME on them. So, a staffer thought they were for an event there that night and put them in a back room. Mona kept trying to pass off the blame 100% to the restaurant. Then, she asked why I didn't call when I noticed the two bouquets had never arrived. I was in the middle of my MOTHER's MEMORIAL talking to Aunts, Uncles, and cousins I hadn't seen in years. Not once did Mona ever offer to make the situation right by either a full or partial refund. After 10 minutes of this back and forth, I let her know that I was not trying to "pull the wool over her eyes" and my family was upset. She continued making excuses and blaming the restaurant. So, here's this lovely review. No refund or understanding at all. They didn't order enough flowers for three bouquets. They waited until 30 minutes before the event to tell us they didn't order enough flowers. They delivered the two replacement bouquets 2 hours after the event started. They argued with me instead of showing any sympathy. They didn't offer any form of a refund. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

They did deliver it the same day, but they put the wrong name on the card. When they signed my name "David" it was so ill eligible that my recipient thought they came from someone else. I never got credit for sending the flowers. Someone else did. After I alerted them to this they said, "it's unfortunate for me my recipient had a friend with a similar name" And they would not make it right. After asking them to make this right They discounted me 10%. An absolute appalling remedy. I advise if you have important flowers and message to send DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My boss recently asked me to order flowers for a client's father's funeral in NOLA. We are based in Atlanta, and I came across Mona's online. It turned out the funeral was a private affair and the flowers were refused by the funeral home. Mona's went above and beyond to communicate the status of delivery and eventually, on their own, found out the gravesite information so the flowers could be delivered. I was out of communication with several unforeseen issues during this time, including waiting unsuccessfully for helpful information from my boss about a new delivery location, and Mona's left me detailed messages about their progress and totally went above and beyond. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and the bouquet looked HORRIBLE!!! My 77 year old mother was sent the "birthday bouquet" from my cousins on the East Coast. This was the worst arrangement I have ever seen. I posted a picture from Mona's website and the bouquet my mom received, and you can clearly see that the bouquet my mom received was thrown together w/ mostly sunflowers which were not even nicely placed or distributed. My mom phoned this florist to make them aware of the HORRIBLE bouquet. As my mom was calmly describing the bouquet, Mona's employee became irate speaking to my mom harshly. Since I could hear the entire conversation between them, I took the phone from my mom to address the employee's disrespect. The employee became louder complaining about my mom. I asked for a manager and she said she was the owner. She continued ranting saying that the arrangement would be refunded because "they are just flowers." Unbelievable!!! This is your business, the "flower" businessI! As I asked for her name, the woman hung up. I recalled and left a message for a return call. Shortly, I received a return call from a normal sounding person asking that I leave the flowers outside for pickup and that a refund would be made to my cousins. I received a beautiful bouquet for my birthday. It was a belated gift from my dad who lives out of state. He chose Mona's to support small businesses even after another florist cancelled his order without notice so he only found out when nothing was delivered. Mona's stepped in and delivered a gorgeous arrangement full or vivid, bright colors and a fragrance that fills the room! The delivery person also had a bright, cheery attitude that brightened my day as much as the flowers did! I live in Austin, but originally from New Orleans and decided to purchase an arrangement from Mona Accents for a funeral 10/30/2020. My order total was $152.24 which included $130 for the arrangement, $9.95 for a delivery fee and $12.29 in taxes. They charge my credit card $2,152.29. Here is the breakdown. $130 for the arrangement, $2,010.00 for delivery fee and $12.29 taxes. I did not notice it until I decided to view my emails about 3-4 hours later today. I called my bank and it showed the $2152.29 had already been debited from my bank account. I immediately called and the owner Mona answered the phone. My first words to her "you charged my card $2152.29 for an ordered that only cost me $152.24". She got really offensive and talked to me with an attitude like I was in the wrong for questioning her. No apology, just they are human and human made a mistakes. How could that be a mistake? How could your fingers make that kind of error punching in numbers and you don't notice it? Are the people working there that incompetent to send me a paid invoice/receipt via email for $2152.29 and didn't noticed the amount was 14 times more than what I should have been charged? If I had not called, they would have gotten away it. They didn't call me, I called them about erroneous charge. The owner was very ignorant, no morals, take no responsibilities and rude. To be honest, I don't see how she is still in business with her ugly attitude and poor customer service. Based on the reviews, I am not the only one complaining about her attitude and poor customer service. I informed her to cancel my order, and refund the entire amount she stole out of my account ($2152.29). She just lost 5 or more potential sales from my family and friends, who were going to make purchases for a funeral 10/30/2020. Who would want to patronize business like this? My first grandchild made her grand debut on Monday, 1/3/2022. She will be home tomorrow and I wanted some floral arrangements and balloons in the nursery upon her arrival. I called Mona's Accents and ordered arrangements for same day pickup. They were very accommodating and my order was ready at agreed time. I am thrilled about the quality, time frame for completion and professionalism exhibited. The dog, made out of carnations within the arrangement, is absolutely phenomenal. The balloon bouquet is made with Mylar and regular balloons that consisted of 12 balloons. On 2/17/21 I called to order flowers to be delivered on 2/19/21 for my cousin's funeral. The sales rep took my order and my debit card info then gave me a confirmation number. Therefore, I thought everything was good. Boy was I mistaken. I live streamed the services and noticed the flower arrangement I ordered was not there. My sister texted me and said she didn't see it. I called Mona's to inquire about the purchase and was told due to the inclimate weather and their overwhelming orders they were unable to complete my order and I was not charged. I thought it over. I was very disappointed. Later today I received a call from an employee named Natalie stating my card declined and the flowers were delivered. What business will fulfill an order without compensation??? Note this is well after the funeral services and my initial call to them. Natalie was rude and extremely unprofessional. I abruptly ended the call because what's the point now. I wasn't charged the flowers weren't delivered, what's to discuss. However, it wasn't over for Natalie she texted a receipt that showed declined but it had an incorrect address, state, and zip code. Then she also wrote "it was not her fault that I didn't have money on my card"and to never call them again. This whole situation could've been avoided if they alerted me to get the correct billing information. This business continues to be my go to place for flowers. There has never been a delivery that was not beautiful and on time either to our home, family, or friends. Since it has been three years from my previous report I decided to update my experience. Recently a business deal needed a third party to provide information for a speedy and successful conclusion. And what would be a very nice way to say Thank You to that person?Of course a good answer is flowers to that particular person. Ordered an orchid late Monday evening. Was delivered to my home Tuesday morning. The plan was for my wife and I to personally bring the gift. There is a slight problem however. The orchid is so beautiful ( pictures posted ) we are having a problem about parting ways with the plant. May have to make a second order to Mona's. Received a basket of lavender/purple mix of flowers in a white basket for my birthday from a dear friend. Note that the flowers were stuck in white styrofoam in a tiny plastic container in the middle of the bottome of the basket and holds little water. When I complained, I was instructed to pour water into the middle of the bouquet. When doing so, water runs out of the bottom of the basket. So I have to "enjoy" these flowers in my kitchen sink; to place them on furniture is to invite water damage. This is pretty sorry workmanship. And when I question the composition of the arrangement, I was asked, "Are you a florist". No, but it doesn't take an expert to see crappy/cheap workmanship. read more

Mona's replaced them with a much lovelier arrangement but the flowers again had brown spots on them. They did open up nicely, however. I feel for $100, the flowers should be a better quality. The ordering process was easy online, however, the flowers were not delivered on the day they were supposed to be! The delivery person either didn't have time to deliver them or didn't have the sense to ring the buzzer to gain access into my (teacher) friend's school. I got an email at the end of the day to say "Sorry we missed you. The delivery was "unsuccessful". How hard is it to ring a buzzer and be let into a school?! Possible Scammer - terrible customer service. they hung up on the person who ordered flowers for me when she called asking them why they did not delver. the sender received a text saying that the flowers were delivered when in actuality they were not delivered. Mona's called me just to state they tried to deliver but the gate was locked. this was a lie because we mostly leave the gate unlocked during the day for packages etc. also, UPS was able to deliver a package to me at my house through the gate up the stairs and left on my porch. so if they were lying about the gate being locked then they probably didn't even get out of their car. there was no knock and no doorbell ringing. If the sender paid extra to ensure delivery by today, then they were scammed. I know Mona's lost at least 2 customers due to their rudeness and incompetence. read more

The worst customer service ever! I ordered 2 arrangements for delivery as a thank you gift on behalf of my employer. The arrangements were going to the same building, 2 different companies with 2 different messages. I called and was greeted by a really nice lady who took my order and the message information. She repeated the order information to me correctly. She instructed that another lady would process my credit card and send me a receipt. Later that day, I received about 3 email receipts with incorrect delivery and message information. I called Mona's Accents a lady answered, I told her that I wanted to review the order with her because there were a few mistakes on the receipt and I wanted to makes sure everything was correct. She said she was the person who sent the receipts and that the person who took the order that morning had a bad hand writing and it was her fault the information was wrong. The lady was a little rude but we got through it. She informed me that she only charged me for one of the arrangements and she would process the other and send me new invoices. As I was leaving work that evening I checked my bank account and I was charged for 3 arrangements. I contacted the store again to let them know I was over charged and the lady seem aggravated and was a little rude again but she corrected the charges. The following morning and day of the scheduled deliveries I had 3 emails in my inbox, 1reflected the refund and the other 2 were the receipts. The order messages were inverted and one of the arrangement receipts was sent twice and I didn't get anything for the other arrangement. I contacted Mona's again to get the order corrected a lady answered (possibly the owner) made the corrections and told me she would email me the receipt while we were on the phone. I waited about 15 mins but I did not receive the emails so I called again. This is now my 4th time calling within 2 days. When the call was answered I identified myself and explained what I needed. The lady who I spoke to the previous day, the one who processed the initial receipts began shouting and talking over me telling me, saying she will send my receipts later and that I am wasting her time. Then she slammed the phone in my face. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I called again and the rude lady answered she tried to start over talking me again. She told me I was wasting her time again, I asked her why she was being so rude to a customer. She replied because you keep calling here. I asked do you realize how you are treating a customer? I also said why would you hang up in a customers face that is just making sure their order is correct. I asked why did she hang up in my face. She then says hold on and keeps me on hold for over 10 mins until I hung up. During that time I was on hold she started to send me the correct receipts. The arrangements were finally delivered later that after noon. I reached out to Mona's accent for this order because I had used them in the past for personal orders and I wanted to give them some business in hopes of using them again for work events. I wanted to write a letter or an email but I thought it would fall on deaf ears because I think the owner was the first lady I spoke with the morning of the delivery and she wasn't very nice either . it's really sad the she employs people that are so rude and ugly to paying customers. The total order was about $200 but could have lead to bigger jobs if the customer service wasn't so bad. On another note, they sent exact same arrangements to both ladies and I was not impressed with the quality of the flowers and the way they were arranged. But was I going to make my complaint to? They pretty much called to ridicule my previous review & claim that I made false accusations about their services. Talk about poor customer service! Very disappointing experience. My sister's aunt passed and I recommended that she go to Mona's Accents to get the "special floral" that she desired to present to the family. I called prior to going there and I was told to come to the back (warehouse) in order to make the order. That we did. Everything went smoothly until my sister never received the receipt that Crystal stated she would receive via email. So, we waited a few minutes to received the receipt. After about 20 minutes or so, my sister went back in to ask about her receipt. There, she spoke to a young lady who questioned that importance of such receipt by saying "Do you need it now?" and she continued her phone conversation. My sister and I soon left Mona's thinking that the receipt would be in her email later on that day. That was Friday, April 2, 2021. Today is Monday, April 5, 2021 and she still has not received a receipt for her purchase. If that wasn't enough, on the day of the funeral, my sister called me after the funeral (with tears in her voice) to inform me that the floral that she ordered was not at the funeral. I forwarded her the number to Mona's Accents and she called. This time, she spoke with Mona herself. Mona gave her such an unprofessional attitudinal response by saying "We delivered it at 7:41 A.M. this morning! Check with the Funeral Directors!" Wow! Indeed it was there, however, the size was incorrect and the dove accent that she wanted and paid for as an enhancement to the arrangement was not there. NEVER AGAIN MONA!!!! read more
