Not your typical plant store! Well, yes, they have all the goodies and plant babies that make it an amazing plant store, but they also host music and art showcases, game nights, and other intimate gatherings. There's a small cafe area and some lounge seating. What a dreamy spot to sip some tea and make-believe you live in a houseplant jungle. read more

Located in the Tremé area and right off the access road, Crazy Plant Bae is a shop that is not only available for your plant needs but it is a unique and out-of-the-box event space for a special event like a baby shower or birthday party. This building it was situated in is a historic bank and event space from what I was told. If you look at the architecture around while shopping you see the history and can appreciate it even more. The owner is so sweet and she has some of the best plants and variety you can find. What stood out to me was how reasonable everything was and you can even buy pots and other garden supplies. Crazy Plant Bae is accessible for anyone who is wanting a green thumb and become a plant parent! You'll be happy to know you can stretch your dolalr pretty well here. read more

Crazy Plant Bae - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

I was prompted to visit this facility for a social media event and once inside the Crazy Plant Bae store I saw so many beautiful plants and items that caught my attention; til I thought, I just might be able to work on my "green thumbery" with some help from Crazy Plant Bae!!!! And so starts my journey... As I walked around, I couldn't help but to notice the different variety of plants; the different shapes, the different sizes, the only thing that they all had in common was they all were green... Which is a plus because green means life in this arena but I digress. Crazy Plant Bae, as she is affectionately called, was super enthusiastic, energetic, loving and super duper quadruple knowledgeable about all things plants. My intention was to GET THEE AN ALOE, since I lost my last one, Ode to Agatha. As I stated, I was here for a social media event, so I got a baby aloe, Agatha 2.0 is her name & Sally the snake plant. I'm not at all crazy about snakes or any affiliation with them, but Sally the snake plant was too cute to pass up. Crazy Plant Bae was very helpful in my selection of plants. She said, "get one that speaks to you" & that's exactly what I did, Agatha 2.0 & Sally. Crazy Plant Bae provided knowledge about the origin of the plants, the care required, the dos & don'ts, repotting concerns, health benefits to humans, soil requirements etc... wow, so much information, who knew, not me, I'll tell you that. I was glad to have met Crazy Plant Bae, she was a doll, very knowledgeable about plants and she helped me to gain a comfort level with my plants that will aid to long life for them. #blackownedbusiness #CrazyPlanetBae #PostCOVIDpandemic #IwilldevelopaGREENthumb read more

Beautiful space, nice selection and wonderful staff. I picked up a few house plants and found great conversation as well. I love the location and how easy it is to shop here. Often plant shops are sprawling yards or packed greenhouses. This was more of a retail/boutique environment. They ladies were available to assist and answer any questions. They also provided me with an online resource for plant maintenance when I left. CPB is definitely my go to house plant resource. read more

The store is really well stocked with large variety of tropical plants. Theresa was very knowledgeable, and you can tell she really cares. Store is perfect for expert plant hobbyists and newbies. read more

Amazing plant shop! Great selection; they had several plants I've been looking for that I couldn't find anywhere else locally. Prices are fair. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be back soon! read more

Went in to pick up my Yelp Elite Perk and I also purchased my first plant baby! There are a lot of plants so it can be overwhelming for a first timer. I suggest browsing their website and getting an idea of what you may want to purchase! I got a Snake Plant also known as Mother-in-law tongue! It's a great first step into Plant Parenthood! Easy to nurture and hard to kill. I named my plant "Hera" which means goddess of Air, this plant helps clean up the air by removing horrible toxins. I'll be back for another snake plant and a money tree soon! It's not hard to find and there is ample parking under the bridge if you don't want to park on the street. Happy Planting! read more

Crazy Plant Bae - Pot, plant all from their selection. - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

I visited this beautiful plant shop in it's older location on Claiborne Ave last year and was excited to learn about the opening of the new location. The space is spacious, decorative - with every type of plant you could imagine from pathos to succulents, to large potted birds of paradise and a variety of hanging plants and air plants. Teresa's knowledge around plant care is so helpful and I appreciate her willingness to build a plant loving community. She opens her doors for folks to bring in their own plants for repotted as well as care advice. I have recently visited the shop to attended yoga classes which as been an incredible warming experience. To be surrounded by the beautifully curated plants and flow in my yoga practice has been the start to the New Year that I needed. The shop will soon have a lounge space that with surely keep me coming back to basks in all special plant vibes the shop has to offer. All plants Al have prices labeled in them and there are pots and other plant care sprays for sale at the shop as well. It's also a delight to visit! read more

My wife and I have just moved into town and have been looking for the right type of nursery that has the best quality of plants. We journeyed out to the basic establishments like Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart but was never satisfied of how the plants looked before purchase, from there we tried local establishments around the city which had better quality but the prices we higher (which isn't a problem) and the customer service level wasn't to my satisfaction. CRAZY PLANT BAE IS AWESOME!!! When we walked in the place it looked like a jungle with fresh colorful vibrant plants!!! The prices were reasonable and the customer service was amazing. Teresa gave us top shelf customer service with plants that will show house nothing but the best decor. Thank you for everytging Crazy Bae read more

Crazy Plant Bae is a local GEM for plants, pots, and all around fun!!! My experience with Teresa was absolutely top notch!!! She is so knowledgeable about plants, and so helpful as I was picking things out! I brought my friend Krystal along and we had the best time exploring the fun lively things at Crazy Plant Bae which is located inside an amazing historic building right on N Claiborne. Teresa let me know that the building was originally a bank and had fallen into disrepair before she and her family bought it and restored it to glorious splendor! They did such an amazing job on the space and now they hold events there when it's not being used as a lovely plant store. The hours are M-W by appointment, Thursday 11-4 and Friday-Sunday 11-6. I highly recommend you check them out!!!!! I got an amazing Zebra plant that I love so much already, two cute cute planters (Teresa even offered to drill holes in them for me which was SO NICE, as I wouldn't have thought of it myself!), and an air plant!!!!! The air plant is so freaking cool!!! Teresa told me all about how to care for each of my new plants and I'm so excited! I also got to pick out all my fun things for my new terrarium! The kit came with everything you'll need including glass container, rocks, sand, and activated charcoal, and even a little mini garden gnome. I highly recommend you check it out!!!!!! 10/10 I would give it 10 stars if I could!! Thank you, Teresa, and Crazy Plant Bae!! read more

Today was my first to Crazy Plant Bae and they did not disappoint. I was greeted by a beautiful sister who welcomed me in and told me a bit about the store. Unbeknownst to me, she is the owner. She and the other 2 ladies (also beautiful) were very pleasant and welcoming. There's a vast selection of plants and pots, so much so, I left without buying anything because there was so much to choose from I couldn't decide while on my lunch break. Everyone was so warm and inviting. I'm very, very happy to have gone Crazy Plant Bae and I will be returning to shop soon. read more

My plant parent journey started with Crazy Plant Bae and I'm so happy it did. The shop is a vibe, the staff knowledgeable and the service is impeccable. I'm up to 11 plant babies now and I've adopted them all from the Bae's. They also host really cool events (yoga, plant 'n sips, community gatherings) that make it easy to connect with fellow plant lovers. All in the heart of historic Treme. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed. If you can't stop by, you can order on Door Dash or have them shipped out of state. read more

While visiting New Orleans, I stopped at this cute and chic little plant shop located on North Claiborne Avenue just to look around. When I walked through the door I felt as though I was at home. As I looked around, I realized that I didn't have plants in my home and began to ask questions about some of the plants. To my surprise, the young lady was very knowledgeable about all of the plants, their benefits, and their maintenance. Needless to say, I was impressed as I gathered a few plants to take home. Once I arrived home, I regretted the fact that I didn't grab a few more mounted air plants. I looked up the phone number to the shop, and to my surprise I was directed to the shop's website (https://www.crazyplantbae.com/), where I could order online and have the plants shipped. I look forward to patronizing them again and recommend Crazy Plant Bae to anyone for all their crazy plant needs! read more
