Cute small shop- locally owned. Fresh flowers, great selection. Small ordering counter with friendly staff. Got a very small hand wrapped arrangement and was pleased with it. Prices were fair and I loved the shops vibe. read more

My BF has come ordered from them many times before, so he recommended them when I needed a last minute thing to bring to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house. I went in the day before and just gave some general guidance of a "fall arrangement around $50." They immediately got to work grabbing from the buckets behind them and then showed it to me when we were at the price point to make sure I was happy. Wrapped it all up and tied a nice fall ribbon around it. They turned out great. read more

Beautiful little shop. Middle of Quarter. I didn't have time to pre-order an arrangement. When I arrived I was given the option to order and come back or just take a bouquet. She asked if I had an idea or what I wanted to spend. I LOVED an arrangement they had waiting to be picked up, so she suggested the same color scheme. When she was done putting it together and I pointed out a few last touch flowers the bouquet was beautiful. I couldn't have been happier if I'd picked it myself. The shop is a tiny boutique style shop. Upon walking in you are welcomed with fragrance. Nothing like it. The room is filled with a wide variety of flowers and greens. Variety of vases and note cards. Everyone is working away creating one masterpiece at a time. All while the cutest pup looks on, probably the supervisor. Flowers are always a loving gesture. Don't show up empty handed to that invite. Many will bring wine, but you will bring a fragrant rainbow of beautiful to your host, whom will surely admire and enjoy for days to come. read more

Highly recommend! We were visiting New Orleans for my partners birthday. I wanted to have flowers waiting in our hotel room for her. I ordered them online from Flora Savage as florists choice, have a budget and the note "she loves rainbows". The flowers were gorgeous! All different flowers, one type for every color of the rainbow perfectly arranged. It was way better than I could have hoped for! This is not a florist who relies on pre-designed online bouquets. The people working there are clearly knowledgeable & creative with attention to detail. read more

Dear Flora Savage I've been meaning to write to you all for some time. This past year Flora Savage provided flowers for my soon-to-be nephew Cassidy's surprise proposal to my niece Madeleine. It had been arranged that Cassidy would quietly leave the front gate to the house unlocked so that the flowers might be delivered, in secret, before Madeleine and himself would return to the house from their day out at Jazz Fest. Madeleine, being the ever so cautious and responsible young doctor that she is, thwarted this plan by triple-checking that the front gate had been locked and demanding that her boyfriend let her be in charge of the keys to the house. Thus, when the delivery was to be made the gate was not open and for a moment it seemed that the flowers and the surprise proposal would take a very different turn. What happened next speaks to the dedication of the employees at Flora Savage as I was quickly called to let me know that the front gate was not unlocked. The individual delivering the flowers offered to scale and jump the gate, with the flowers, in order to make the delivery happen - a decidedly dangerous thing to do, not only physically but also with the possibility that someone may suspect a burglary and call the authorities. The gate was jumped and the truly stunning arrangement of flowers was successfully delivered in time for the proposal! I think it is an understatement to express how truly grateful I am. Jazz Fest is an incredibly busy time in the city and when I had heard that the gate was locked, I was sure that the flowers would have no way of being delivered. What happened goes to show how truly passionate and committed the employees of Flora Fauna are and that they recognize the importance of details such as a beautiful flower bouquet to a moment that happens only once in a couple's life. together. Madeleine and Cassidy are now happily engaged and working as residents in two hospitals in New York. Their time together at Tulane Medical School was capped off in a truly memorable way with the surprise proposal during Jazz fest and the hard work of the team of Flora Savage who know just how truly important and meaningful their work can be. read more

The staff are the most warm and hind hearted people! I couldn't recommend them enough!

Awful! I just called to order two boxes of Roses for delivery on the same block. I live right there, and what a shame, but I will never again order anything there again. The worker was completely condescending as she wanted me to order online instead of on the phone, and kept saying it over and over again, as if I was putting her out. The audacity of helping me! Unbelievable! The very lowest grade of customer service I've encountered in a long while, especially in Nola where everyone is nice. She should be fired. You have lost the sale and me as a client, and I will share with everyone on the block. 1/24/24 Here's the date so you can know who was working this day. Good luck! read more

I had a relative in the hospital in NOLA. Called and ordered flowers for her (I live in another state). The flowers were delivered on July 8, and were GORGEOUS. I asked for lots of color and that's exactly what was delivered. My relative and I were just talking and she just threw the flowers away yesterday. July 20. So the flowers lasted almost 2 weeks!!!! Thank you so much Susie. read more

Flora Savage - Flowers, florist, New Orleans, bouquet - Florists Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

I absolutely loved my experience at Flora Savage. My fiancé and I were on a trip to New Orleans in March with his children and our mothers. We decided to see if we could get a marriage license and that came through! While a huge planned affair obviously wasn't super important to me, I did want a nice bouquet for the event. I promptly arrived on a Wednesday morning right at 10AM when the shop opened and asked if they might be able to put together a bouquet for me to pick up later that day at noon! They graciously told me they could help me out. I showed the staff a picture of a bouquet I liked and we were able to select some beautiful flowers in the shop from which to make the bouquet. We even picked out some flowers to make boutonnieres for the boys and a smaller bouquet for my fiancé's daughter. When I arrived to pick the flowers up, they were all ready and I was blown away by the stunning arrangement! The staff really captured the rustic, non-traditional bouquet I was going for and did so on such short notice with smiles on their faces! My impromptu wedding was delightful in so many ways, and the memory of the bouquet Flora Savage's staff made still brings a smile to my face. Thank you so much Flora Savage. You're staff is friendly and accommodating and the flowers are amazing!! read more

I'm currently ordering flowers for someone (not in NOLA) and I'm saying "I wish they were like Flora Savage." They are the standard I compare all florists to. No baby's breath, no gaudy bow wired to a vase. My husband bought me multiple arrangements from here and there was no question where I'd get my wedding bouquet. It was exactly what I was hoping for and it matched my request beautifully. I can't say enough good things about them. read more

I called a few places for my destination wedding for a bouquet and piece for my hair. I got a bunch of quotes way out of my budget, so because they were the closest to my hotel, I called Flora Savage. The lady I spoke to on the phone was great and gave me a reasonable quote based on what I described. She offered to have them delivered for a small charge, so I had one less thing to worry about. All good so far but in the back of my mind I thought by paying so much less for my flowers, I was going to have to accept having a plain-Jane bouquet, boy was I pleasantly surprised! They were exactly as I had described them on the phone, but even better than I ever hoped for. I loved everything about them. I cannot say enough good things about Flora Savage. I teared up when I had to leave my bouquet to go home. Since I never actually went to the store, I'd also really like to thank everyone that works there. Your creativity and attention to detail made my wedding day even more wonderful and I truly appreciate it. read more

So I gave this shop a call one day b/c I'm a NOLA photographer that needed a floral crown made for one of my photoshoots. Suzy answered the phone and allowed me to send her a text message containing the look I wanted for the crown (I'm picky like that lol). So when I show up, not only does Suzy have the crown ready for me straight out the fridge, but then tells me the original price she quoted me on the phone was higher than what I actually had to pay. It wound being $20 less to be exact. That made me VERY HAPPY! :) Suzy was so nice throughout the process and the floral crown came out BEAUTIFUL! I've included a photo I took during the shoot. Tell me what you guys think :D read more

Flora Savage is a gem! I enjoy walking down Royal Street with a empty vase and returning with a beautiful and fragrant arrangement that best suits my mood. Flora Savage did my bouquet for my wedding and it looked like something right out of a bridal magazine. I received endless compliments. Besides feeding my fresh flower fetish the staff has beautifully deliver numerous arrangements for any occasion. I once called a local grocery store in the French Quarter from New York and had a bottle of Pink Champange delivered to the floral shop. They in turn incorporated the chamapage with the arrangement and delivered it! Awesomeness! Lastly the staff has always been on point with whatever my budget. read more

It was my best friend's birthday weekend and I wanted to do a little something special for her and order her flowers. I called her hotel's concierge desk (the Le Meridien Hotel) and they recommended calling nearby florist Flora Savage, and I am so very happy that I did! I called and spoke with Monet; she was very helpful and pleasant. I told her my best friend's favorite flowers and that I was hoping to not exceed $55 for the arrangement and delivery to her hotel. Monet made it happen! What was even more wonderful was that the arrangement was delivered the same day, just in time for my best friend to arrive, check-in, and find her beautiful arrangement waiting for her in her room. Both my best friend and I are very pleased with the beautiful arrangement and the friendly and professional service of Flora Savage. Definitely recommend them! Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mom's birthday. Asked that they include a Protea. Absolutely stunning end product. My mother has professional floral arranging experience and was blown away. read more

This is kindof a delayed review, but a few months ago, my mother called in from out of state for a birthday arrangement and had it delivered to my work in MidCity. It's stunning--just what I never knew I wanted, with rich, dark exotics and crimson roses. Let's just say I'm not exactly the bright, happy pink flowers kind of gal, and they *nailed it* like no other florist has done before. (Mom: "Did you see the little skulls on the ribbon? I love that!") I'm a total flower snob, and the roses were totally lush. Even the chrysanthemums, (which I'm not usually terribly fond of) are a gorgeous, deep plum color. A full week since delivery, the arrangement held up remarkably well. I only had to take a couple of fading flowers out, and you'd never miss them. Stalks with tiny orchids on them were still opening up after a week. Thank you Flora Savage; I'll be coming back to you soon when I need something beautiful in my house. read more

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with this business. I made a mistake on a business address and had flowers sent to a location that had changed. The correct (and new) town was over 2 hours away. I emailed the store and left a message and they immediately refunded me for my entire order, even though they had had a delivery person go to the original location with no luck. So very much appreciated. read more

I ordered a custom bouquet of flowers, and requested that they be waiting in my hotel room as my wife and I arrived in New Orleans to celebrate our anniversary. She was wowed when she saw them. Flowers looked amazing, smelled great, were perfectly arranged and delivered on time. My wife liked them so much, she couldn't leave them, and she insisted on taking them home on the plane (even though they were a few days old). We had SIX different people in the airport tell us that this no-longer fresh bouquet was the most beautiful arrangement they had ever seen! I scored huge husband points, and my wife felt special and important (which she is!). If you are looking for flowers that are way better than what you're expecting, try Flora Savage!! read more

I ordered and paid extra for a premium bouquet but the bouquet that was delivered didn't have extra flowers.

I will never use another florist in the city. The staff always keeps your budget in mind and doesn't give you any surprises when you go to pay. I should have written this review a long time ago, but I am a terrible person. Suzy, the owner put up with my strange requests and made my wedding flowers beautiful. We had a consultation and she asked all the right questions, even down to ribbon width! I asked her to be creative and she definitely was! I asked for red, black and white flowers, and she used spray paint to get the right effect, but I thought it was GENIUS! She even delivered all of the flowers to where I was getting my hair done (on a day that the shop wasn't even open). I got so many compliments on my bouquet all day. She arranged it in such a way that they didn't move at all the whole day. The boutonnieres matched my bouquet, and photographed very well. Here's a photo of my gorgeous bouquet: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2698/4123099346_f85cbc489e.jpg I recommended her to a good friend for use in her wedding. The huge arrangements were so beautiful and fragrant. She used crystals in a creative way that accented the flowers. Whenever I think of her wedding, I still remember the smell of the flowers. I bring my own vases down to flora savage when I am having a party or need a pick-me-up, and the staff expertly fills the vase with beautiful and fresh flowers, and just ask what my budget is and what colors I would like to use. I can even go in and just pick out a favorite flower (because many of them are sitting out in buckets for the customer to see) and they fix it up all nice! So, next time you mess up and need to apologize, or say I love you, or just fancy up the house, give flora savage a ring or a visit. You can't go wrong. read more

"I am sorry, we have alot of things going on right now that take priority over your wedding. We have other weddings and mothers day, so I havent even had a chance to look at what we discussed 4 days ago. It usually takes me 2 weeks to a month to send out a quote, although I do understand your time constraint since the wedding is June 1st. I am sorry I didnt let you know that when we spoke. I am clearly not what you're looking for, so best of luck." -The manager Susie This is the last thing any bride wants to hear, especially when she is coming from out of town. Flora Savage did a wonderful job. I was able to order flowers and pick the date I wanted them delivered. With it being so close to Valentine's Day there wasn't really a way to tell them a specific time which is totally understandable. If I'm not mistaken, it seems as though they do try to fit your specific time in as best they can on any other day. I left a note in the box to leave after 1 if it was at all possible and they did just that. Even with it being the holiday! I got the delivery confirmation email before the person I sent them to could even text me about it. The flowers were stunning!
