SADLY, I WAS COMPLETELY LET DOWN BY FAT CAT FLOWERS despite numerous recommendations.... here's what occurred: We were planning our destination wedding and were narrowed down to (4) venues. During our tours and meetings with each restaurant's representatives for special events, we asked for their list of recommended vendors (3 of the 4 included Fat Cat Flowers)... so we checked out their instagram page and then contacted Diane Mouton (owner) and were impressed. We began all communication with Diane in October and kept in contact with her to develop our final decisions for our January 26 wedding date (but the style/taste of our order stayed rather consistent from the start). The original quote was quite high for us, mostly due to a couple table arrangements but with our wedding being a micro-wedding (with only 18 guests), we thought it best to eliminate the table arrangements and only get (2) boutonnières and the bridal bouquet. Fat Cat Flowers had no hesitation about handling our small order... And we were very timely with making our deposit (and final payment as well). The BRIDAL BOUQUET was to be White Hydrangea with some Lavender Roses. It was always stressed to Fat Cat Flowers that I had some specifics for the BOUTONNIERES... such as it not being too feminine (like no roses), wanting them to be on the smaller size and wanting it to be very simple. We even sent numerous pictures of what I like (mostly simple stuff with twine; basically a very rustic, mascaline look). As the wedding date approached, we had to finalize and confirm our order... I confirmed the BRIDAL BOUQUET to be the same as when we started; As for the Father and Son BOUTONNIERES, my wife sent the following email to Diane to confirm what I wanted: * * * * * * * * * * "So it turns out father and son, both pretty much like the same style and they are both very very simple. Glenn's father would like baby's breath with twine or something similar to hold it together but preferably not ribbon (IF you don't have twine). I attached a couple samples to assist." Glenn's boutonniere is to be the same, except it would be a nice touch if you could add just a modest touch of something green (such as wintergreen) or neutral (such as wheat as seen in attach picture) or something of your liking; but be sure it's very minimal and not colorful." * * * * * * * * * * The flowers were delivered to the front desk of our hotel while we were out running errands; upon our arrival to the hotel and time to get ready I saw her BRIDAL BOUQUET and I thought my wife would've preferred more White Hydrangea and less Lavender Rose but overall the arrangement was lovely. Wish I could've said the same for my BOUTONNIERES... I received LAVENDER ROSE WITH GREEN RIBBON... It was specifically what I said I DO NOT WANT (feminine and colorful) Did Fat Cat Flowers ignore everything we discussed and confirmed in numerous emails... plus numerous pictures of our simple taste?!?!?! So the GROOM and his Father ended up wearing NO BOUTONNIERES!!! * * * * * * * * * * I called Diane and expressed my disappointment.... explained all of what I said above. I'd be lying if I didn't say I was further disappointed with excuses instead of an apology. She said she tries to match the Boutonniere flowers to the Bridal Bouquet flowers; despite it's not what I asked for. She did suggest this in one email but it was rejected since I do not like colorful flowers for my Boutonniere. She also said Baby's Breath would end up costing twice the price we paid; then why did she agree to do it and never express this as a concern. She refunded the price of the BOUTONNIERES (and I accepted that), but I do believe the whole order should've been refunded... considering I wouldn't have made a deal to buy just the BRIDAL BOUQUET without the Boutonnieres * * * * * * * * * * I know Fat Cat Flowers / Diane Mouton are capable of more... but if my order wasn't worth the time then I wish she would've explained that to us and we could've placed the order with another flower vendor. * * * * * * * * * * Added 2/21/19 In response to Fat Cat Flowers' statement below: my contract never stated lavender flowers; it originally said White Ranunculus but it was removed because I didn't like them and the contract was actually written as Boutonnieres TBD (to be determined) when we made our deposit. read more

Fat Cat Flowers did a spectacular job with our flowers. They did both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. At the rehearsal dinner, they had a gorgeous floral arrangement at the entrance of the venue and even did a floral arrangement at the ghost's table (so fun). The arrangements on the table were beautifully designed. We received so many compliments that night and knew our wedding was going to be just as amazing. Several months before our wedding, we met with Diane and described our vision for the wedding. On our wedding day, she took our vision and blew away our expectations. To put it in perspective, our guests described our wedding as having a "secret garden" vibe. Diane suggested greenery on the ceiling that gave our wedding a dreamy-look. She also designed the alter with beautiful foliage and florals. Overall, Diane is the best of the best florist. We can't recommend her enough. To reiterate, she will perfectly capture your vision and even take it beyond what you would ever imagine. Her personality is very spunky and is a blast to work with. We had a last minute need for about 15 center pieces for a corporate dinner in New Orleans this past week and Fat Cat came through for us! They're well priced and prompt, Diane (the owner) is a delight to work with. And I use 'work with' loosely because we barely had to communicate and she got everything I needed with emailing. This place is amazing. The flower arrangement they created (twice!) for my friends ceremony was perfect and they went above and beyond for us. I called asking for a miracle, same day delivery of flowers with specialty flowers, a week after Valentine's Day, which to most folks is when they get their loved ones flowers, although I prefer monthly arrangements myself And Fat Cat Flowers was able to pull together an arrangement with what they had, and additional flowers brought in from their wholesaler specially for this order. Our friends were getting married the following day so we really wanted to show some love since we couldn't be there. Unfortunately, there was a mishap and our flowers never made it to the couple! As you can imagine, we were frustrated and confused and sad... all the emotions... but mostly because it was such a beautiful and special arrangement for a special day. I called and texted the delivery driver after hours and let him know the ceremony was the next day and the couple didn't get the flowers. He was as confused as I was and the following morning, the day of her ceremony, Fat Cat Flowers redelivered an even MORE gorgeous arrangement in honor of the couple and their love. Their contract states , paraphrasing, "if we cannot support an alternate date due to the pandemic locking down the city, you ( the client) will forfeit all deposits" Fat Cat Flowers say they have accommodated different date for others but are not willing to put it in their contract.
