I finished the Network Support Services class in June for the 2019/2020 school year. I really…read moreenjoyed the class. My instructor, Mr. Rao, worked in the field and is very knowledgable. The classroom itself has been remodeled and fitted with brand new workstations and lab stations. The hands-on experience with switches and routers can't be replicated by online learning or reading. The only thing that really disappoints me, is the "job placement" pretty much went out the window after graduation. I can't fault them too much for that, though, because of COVID. It would have been nice to generate an interview or two out of it, though. I would definitely recommend this school to someone who's just looking to learn a trade and doesn't know about a 4-year school, although, some credits would transfer to Broward schools if desired after graduation.

I went there a few years ago, full time, for the 1 year culinary program. I liked that in the cold foods, if you show interest, Chef will teach you about food carving. In the bakery, if you let Chef know you want to try "something", he'll make time to do that with you or with the class. It was an overall great experience. The only negative I have is about one of the Chefs, I won't say whom in particular... she told me on a couple occasions that I'd probably do better at the front of the house, I was not fit for the kitchen. Harsh truth? I worked in a commercial kitchen after graduating and loved it. I think she spoke too soon. I now make custom tiered cakes. Guess I exceeded her expectations..

Unfortunately, they mislead me. Pros: * Professional and friendly staff * Offers a friendly learning environment. * Offers organic lunch meal at a reasonable price * Tuition offered at a reasonable price * Small classroom sizes * School uniform base * Offer several extracurricular activities * Offers aftercare * Diverse * Religious based Cons: * Forced parents to volunteer or have to pay an expensive fee if failed to meet volunteering hours * Curriculum is weak and not competitive to the public school Curriculum * Does not give your child a competitive edge * I do not believe that the pre-kindergarten and/or kindergarten teachers are certified by the state of Florida * Consistently attempt to label children to the autism spectrum, when neurologist and primary doctor believe the child is meeting expectations based on age level and recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. * Force pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children to memorize a poem, but do not teach them how to read the poem * School plays are lacking * Children with learning, psychological, or physical disabilities may have a troubling thriving and learning from this environment * No parents' input on child's education * No academic opportunities for gifted students * No free transportation * No free or reduced meals * No free before and after-school programs

It was a Saturday morning with a chance of showers in the forecast so the first thing I noticed was the distance from the parking to the entrance with absolutely no cover along the way. On entry, I was impressed by the open feeling. It had the typical locker lined lobby and corridors but the lockers (I saw) were all in open spaces so there was no feeling of crowding. I had to imagine a gazillion kids. As I expect all schools are now (not where I attended) all seating was fixed. The auditorium was large but probably not large enough to seat the full student body with each seat having a folding desktop. I'm a small person and it did feel a bit crowded... I'm not sure it would be comfortable for a big kid. The desks in the classrooms seemed to be standard school issue with the metal frame and no chance of adjustment. I felt very confined and again, I would think is might be tight for anyone much larger than my petite frame. The building felt clean and comfortable. I did not use the restroom but did note it was located close the the classrooms we were using. For a public school this seemed ok... and if I had a school-age kid, I could see them here... assuming they have a good program.
