Mona Pants Mintage Shop raises money for animal rescue groups; shelters; and animal sanctuaries. They also provide pet food to those that need it in the community. I was warmly greeted when I arrived at the store and given time and space to browse the items. The retail store is a hodgepodge of items so you never know what treasure you will find. I loved the variety. They have jewelry; soaps; candles; pottery; animal toys & treats; clothing. Some items are second hand. The Fantastical Magical Air Plant Creatures are what caught my eye. I had trouble deciding on which one to get. then I went back about 30 miutes later to buy another. Now I wish I bought a few more so I think I will need to make a return trip to Zebulon in the near future. read more

This is a fantastic shop and a wonderful way to raise awareness, support, and funds for so many animals and individuals in need. By shopping with The Mona Pants Mintage Shop, you succeed in supporting a this great cause! This life saving organization, the Mona Pants Foundation, helps all animals (and people!) in need! They specialize in helping Animal Shelters, Animal Rescues, Animal Sanctuaries, K9 Firefighters, K9 Officers, and Senior Dogs via the Mona Pants Foundation Senior Dog Sanctuary. At the Mona Pants Foundation Senior Dog Sanctuary, they take in Senior dogs who have been abandoned for the remainder of their lives! This cause is especially near and dear to my heart, as I have an aging Senior Boston Terrier myself and her name is Maggie. I am multiply disabled and Maggie is my registered Service Dog. Sadly, Maggie is retiring as my Service Dog as she is ready for her Golden Years, at this time in her life she typically spends her days (and nights!) resting relaxing, sleeping, and then more sleeping! Let me attest to the sad truth that caring for a Senior dog comes with many challenges and much heartache. My "baby girl" Miss Maggie Moo Mcpiggles has sadly gone both deaf and blind at this stage of her life. I often think about what my life will be like when she passes away, and I no longer have her in my life, and it frequently breaks my heart. I've also personally experienced having close friends and family in my life who avoid spending time with Maggie at this point, as seeing Maggie aging and becoming multiply disabled is far too painful for them to endure. I know in my heart that I am truly blessed with the gift of being able to care for my elderly dog Maggie at this stage in her life, when she needs me the very most. Sadly, some individuals aren't able to care for their elderly dogs due to time constraints, lack of resources, perhaps that cannot afford the expensive veterinary costs associated with caring for an aging dog. These individuals may be disabled in such a way, or perhaps elderly themselves and at a stage in their lives where they be experiencing extreme fatigue, financial hardship, debilitating illnesses, in their lives that make caring for their elderly dog truly impossible for them to manage. Whatever the case may be, these vulnerable dogs, with so much love left to give, are often abandoned, surrendered to animal shelters, or surrendered to animal rescues. It's heart breaking to realize that these Senior dogs are rarely adopted out into a loving, supportive forever home at this stage in their lives. Senior Dog Sanctuaries, such as the Mona Pants Foundation, truly make the world a better place. They provide so many amazing and deserving Senior dogs with a warm, loving, caring, and comfortable home, where they can go to live in peace, joy, and happiness for the remainder of their lives. They provide delicious food and veterinary care to these Senior dogs who would otherwise be euthanized or much worse, left to suffer and die alone in excruciating pain. I just went about maybe five minutes ago with my mom and me and her loved it! the lady in there is so kind and the dog is ADORABLE. the clothes are cute and so are the jewelry, they have a great selection of cds and dvds! plus the money goes to charity. and the value is so nice. very affordable. read more

This is my favorite store ever. There are always treasures and little gems to find when shopping here. The people who work here are so awesome and really love what they do. This is a non profit organization that does beautiful work for animals. It's also a plus to shop with some of their furry friends like Ophie or Piper. Don't be shy to open drawers as there are hidden gems as well. The atmosphere is always top tier and if you find something you love on their social media, they are accommodating to hold something behind the counter for you until you are able to come in and purchase it, which I think is beyond helpful. All in all, this is my favorite edition to downtown Zebulon and would recommend this store to everyone who is looking for a good time packed with good vibes! read more

Absolutely love this place!! went there today and i was pleasantly surprised! great selection from dog toys to trinkets, sweaters, hippie clothes, causal clothes, jewelry and some plants/ furniture!! they have a little bit of everything with decently priced items!! when you walk in the door your greeted with some furry friends who make you feel welcome! the staff was very friendly and accommodating! 25% of the purchase goes towards the animals! great shop overall definitely recommend stopping by!! read more
