We were sat against the wall with the fold down movie theater seats but be careful - when I stood up I ended up pulling my seat off and was no longer able to use the chair! Most of the diners in my party shared different burgers (which they all enjoyed and seemed to be enough to share). I selected the Le Wok de Canard which was a duck stir fry. It was very delicious and the meat was quite tender. It was served on a bed of thinly slides vegetables like carrots and zucchini. For being located in a smaller city (not Paris) I would have expected the servers to be a little more friendly but they were friendly enough for it not to impact our experience. I would recommend Les Cornichons but allow for more time to enjoy the decor and atmosphere.

As I was seated I noticed that there were already two corn bread muffins and a carafe of cold water waiting for me. It was a nice touch to already have them there. Because I was trying to eat light, the waiter helped me out by getting a larger dinner salad made for my appetizer even though it doesn't appear on the menu. I ordered the chicken breast with cheese sauce (Maroilles) and rice. The sauce was the best part, but really, it was "meh". Two large tables came in shortly after I arrived and although the waiters were constantly busy and friendly when they were waiting on me, I ended up having to wait much longer for each course of my meal, for the coffee afterwards, and for the check.
