This place is horrible to take your children. Especially if they have special needs. The staff does not communicate well with parents and do not focus on the child during the sessions. If your child is sick more than 3 times they kick you out of their sponsorship program. I would not recommend this tutoring program for anyone. read more

I love this place!! Terri has been touring my daughter for a half of a year, well at least I think. Anyways this place and all of the people here are amazing and I've seen a HUGE difference in my kids work. She went from not turning in any assignments to turning in all of them. Overall this place is outstanding and you should also have you or your kids be going here to. Not long do they do math and that school stuff they do art mostly at the summer camp. Oh yeah! About the summer camp the summer camp is a fun place where you get to do reading,weighting, math and art. You also get paired up into a group that is the grade/going into that grade. You get to make lots and lots of friends. The people that are amazing at their jobs and they teach a lot. Now let's talk about what fun stuff you get to do. You get to do art and do breaks every week is a new activity and whoever's teem wins gets a trophy!!!! Each hour you do a different subject one hour is reading one is writhing one is math and one is art. So that means that in all of those four hours you do different stuff. *including snack breaks* overall my child thinks this camp is really fun and teaches her a lot and I think you should definitely come here to. read more

We also have tons of resources available to us to help meet students' needs. I was having such a hard time preparing for the math portion of my TEAS exam. I called momentum and spoke with Britney who was so pleasant and listened to my concerns. She gave all the information I needed and quickly followed up with an email as she said she would regarding session date and times as well as who she decided to pair me up with. The times worked perfect around my schedule and she paired me up with the perfect tutor, Sierra. She helped guide me through the math which allowed me to develop more confidence with the areas I was struggling in. I will say when I walked in and saw that everyone they were tutoring were kids and teens I must admit I felt kind of silly for being there. But that feeling quickly went away once my session began with Sierra. She made me feel 100% comfortable which allowed me to LEARN! I would totally recommend momentum. Thank you!! I also want to add that the price is very reasonable. I called around several different tutoring businesses along with momentum and a lot of their prices were higher than momentum's and claimed to offer exceptionally qualified tutors. A few places wanted to get my card information prior to setting up a session which I did not like and felt it was way too pushy. I can't say enough about Momentum tutoring. In these crazy times I felt like I was all alone. I am no teacher I felt like I was failing my children and they were falling behind as the days turn into months and the months turn into a very very long year. I was so nervous. I had a long talk with Teri and she was so reassuring. She let me know that I was not alone and that there were many parents feeling the same. My boys are smart they love school they miss their friends. They miss the interaction. They are suffering more by the lock down then anything. The rate of depression and God knows what is very sad. The other place was doing a good job; but their billing was flawed. I am truly blessed to have found Momentum Tutoring! My daughter's grade is an A in math (other place had her to a B). My son has only been here a couple weeks but I've already noticed a difference. He does one on one private tutoring with Ivy. She gets more done with him in a hour than I'm ever able to. She has also given him good tools in regards to studying and doing his homework. The center has a very positive vibe and lots of kids working with tutors or homework groups. The 2 days a week helps me so much! I used to be so stressed helping with his homework and trying to make him understand, now that he's at Momentum I feel better knowing he's getting help and having fun at the same time. It's a little bit of a drive from my house but to me it's very worth it. As far as pricing it is a little expensive but again worth it if your child needs that extra help. I'm hoping to transition him to the homework groups once he gets up to date with the subjects he's working on. Try them out you won't be sorry! read more

Momentum tutoring has been a huge asset in our family. My son has been tutored by Haley for 3 years now. He started in the summer before entering 7 grade. He was in special education classes due to his reading, spelling, and writing. His reading level was so low no matter how much we practiced. He was frustrated with not being able to move forward and his confidence was low. He asked if he could start going to this tutoring place called Momentum that he heard of from another peer that it was helping her a lot. We got him enrolled in Momentum the day after he asked and he was given Haley as his tutor. He set his goals with Haley. His overall goal was he wanted to improve so much by high school that he did not have to be in any special education classes. He is now a freshman and HE DID IT! ACCOMPLISHED his goal and improving every day! His first semester of high school (which just ended) he is not in special education classes and received a 4.0!!!!! This is so huge to us that I can't even express how proud we are. He has worked so hard with Haley and Momentum and has come further with his goals than we would of expected. He does put a lot of hours into his tutoring but let me tell you it has been worth every penny. He tutors 2 hours Mon-Thur so 8 hrs per week. My husband and I love it there. My grandson goes there and he also loves it there. All the teachers are great and friendly. The facility always smells clean and is clean. I love how the children have to frequently wash their hands and keep their shoes on. My grandson loves the lunch and snacks. He has one more year there and I am already feeling sad.
