I'm a hard-sell with shoes. I used to be a cheapskate until…read moreI realized I was spending more buying cheaper shoes more often than I would be ordering one pair of quality shoes once every year or so. Don't get me wrong I still think the prices here are a bit high but the owner sizes you up instantly and picks out the shoe you want before you even get a word out. She hasn't failed yet with me, and I, the cheapskate, have bought 10 pairs of shoes from her at $60 and up where I used to think $20 was too much. I'll be back when this pair wears down. She remembers your name a year later and has ordered that exact shoe in the hopes of your return. If you liked it, there it is again. First class saleswoman, smart marketing, good products. I'm still a cheapskate but I'll shell out a few extra dollars for that.

I am from out of town, I was on my vacation when I saw the buy one get one 50% off. My son starts school soon and happened to be wearing shoes that were too small, I thought getting one pair here would save my wallet. We stopped only one worker was there I think her name was Hannah. She measured my son's feet, he was at a size 2. Sje recommended he go up one size because of how fast kids grow. She then went through and showed us all the kids shoes she has in a size 3. We picked out a shoe, she got it out and fixed the shoe laces and put them on my son's feet. We ended up buying 2 pairs, to be honest it had nothing to do with the deal. The employee was very pleasant (I am used to either being attacked by the employees at shoe stores or have to look around for someone to help), and assisted in the whole process of making sure the shoe fit. We ended up getting those light up sketchers and a pair of nike gym shoes. Because she was so helpful in making sure the shoe fit correctly, I will try to plan my shoe shopping days for when I return to Tomah. Customer service is what brings people back and I will be back!

I got this far for the night, arriving late and spending the night in the Walmart parking lot. Yes,…read morethis Walmart tolerates RVers. The store was still open so I did pop in for a quick shop for supplies and a visit to the restroom. I found the store to be well stocked, tidy and the self-checkout machine worked well. Easy! No dedicated parking here, I just took up a space out of the way and was not disturbed by anyone. I was on my way before 6am. [Review 20704 overall - 273 in Wisconsin - 1685 of 2023.]

I paid for my first purchases and then paid for my second and I could here them behind me. I started putting my purchases back in my cart and the one lady came over and said I need to check your bag. I said I just purchased it and I dont steal from Walmart never have, never will. , mind you I just bout almost 400.00 worth of stuff. She said I need to look in your bag. I said really. The other clerk said its just policy. Really??? I just self checked my self while you two stood there stalking me. I said really??, she proceeded to open the snoopy bag and then asked if I wanted the paper removed from the inside, I said whatever. I dont care. Then she backed up and stood next two the other guy . I almost felt like going to Custemer service and returning the snoopy bag. When I decided to load it in my cart some other customer told me im getting coal for Christmas. Sad thing is. I spend allot of money at that Walmart. There could of been a nicer way of approaching me and saying its customer policy to check large bags, but to act accusedly as if I stole something, that's another thing. I always keep my recipt handy and am more than willing to show it at the door. But I felt like I was a target. Do better Walmart. I usually find what I need, if you dont trust your customers then close self checkout and go back to checking people out. Do like lake Delton and higher more people to check us out and close the self check.

Every bass is set up before it leaves their shop, and they make sure that you are satisfied. I've had nothing but good experiences when purchasing online with him. Awesome- and you can see my other review on that day's tremendous - dare I say... say it again, tremendous outcome. Can you say, YES to the question - have you ever made an in-store purchase for something very expensive such as a specialized guitar, and had a discount so deep you thought the salesman made a terrible, job-ending quote? I can say yes and I knew you could too! Today, a week later I bought a bass guitar and another guitars, this time an Ibanez acoustic-electric cutaway dreadnought body (steel string). I won't go into the details of the discount because of the ethics of good business, but jeepers! I have purchased musical instruments mostly in the U.S., but abroad as well, and let me say Barry Clark and his family offer customer service better than any place I have shopped. Sounds hyperbolic, huh? I saved a ton today and I have to admit I'm a little giddy about my purchases today. Man, oh man, no regrets on $1400+ purchase AND that's the discount pricing. No remorse in a situation where I usually come away sulking for a few days. That's another blog. As of today, there's a very nice, well-cared for Taylor hanging in the used area that I have my eye on. Barry's already asking a discounted price but I'm betting that someone with some negotiating skills will get a deep discount also, and practically run from the story thinking they just stole something. See for yourself. Say hello to Barry. Remember, if you don't see what you want just ask. His warehouse is packed full.
