Ohmygoodness! They have the best food ever! Most bars have basic junk, but this food was so good and the selection was amazing. We had very good service and it appeared to be very clean. The prices were decent for the food and drinks were quite affordable. My bf comes here frequently and I can't wait to join her on my next trip to Tomball. read more

Well if you come here expecting Irish fare of any kind, forget it. The menu is extremely limited, some burgers and a few Mexican food choices. Service, is almost non existent. Definitely not the place I would suggest if you're looking for a place to eat in Tomball. I am so unimpressed right now, I personally think we should leave, not sure why we haven't yet TBH. We are on the road over the holidays and being a member of the Omaha Squad I thought you might find information on a very different Reuben Sandwich to be of interest. Being a relative local to Tomball, TX for many years we have watched Molly's go through plenty of tribulations, fires and all sorts of calamities but it has continued to grow into being one of our most favorite locations for lunch, a large choice of adult beverages on tap doesn't hurt, either. Molly's offers some very unusual and tasty sandwiches and one of my favorite is their personal spin on the Reuben, which they carry too. It's called...wait for it, drum roll..."Molly's Reuben" and it is sincerely worth a try. They make several changes to the normal ingredients but the biggest game changer is their use of a beer cheese sauce versus the Swiss cheese. It imparts a very rich and more of a smokey taste versus that of the Swiss. A true delight. So if you are ever cruising down Business 249 in Tomball, TX, swing on in to Molly's for a respite that I am certain you will enjoy. Peace out. read more

My office had a Christmas party here and the pub was able to reserve tables for us. I was told the previous place burned down so this pub was newly built. It was nice, spacious and clean. The bar was fully stocked. The waitress served me right away when I came in. They give you the option to start a tab (since it is a bar) or pay in cash. I didn't drink but had their chicken tender basket. It came with 5 HUGE tenders and a whole lot of fries. I couldn't finish. I shared some with a coworker and took the rest home for my daughter. It was really good. I also ordered the grilled chicken burger to-go for my husband. He enjoyed it. Everything came out in a timely manner. My coworkers all seemed to enjoy their drinks and food as well. I wouldn't mind going back for a drink when I can drink again and also for burgers, appetizers or chicken tenders again. read more

I hadn't been out with girlfriends in months! I recently had a baby and was back at work. So work and baby and house and just life has me too busy to make some girl time. Well, my friends and I finally scheduled it! We chose Molly's in Tomball because it's on my way home from work and down the street from them. I got there before they did and sat at the bar. The bartender (female, dark hair, glasses and tribal tattoo) asked me what I wanted to drink. Since I hadn't been drinking because of the baby I decided I'd stick with just beer. So I said "l'm going to get a beer, do you have a beer. Do you have a beer menu?" As I'm grabbing a menu. She said that's the food menu and looked at me like I'm a dumb ass. So I said oh sorry what type of beers do you have? She pointed to her right and gestured with an opened arm and hand "these are them." She was short and rude. read more

Great neighborhood bar. Kitchen is ran by a Mexican restaurant now. They have classic bar good and Mexican food. Great patio with karaoke Wednesday and Saturday. Inside is nice and non smoking pool tables ping pong and darts. Bar staff is always great. read more

Another review for your reading pleasure, Molly's Pub....Slow service, had to ask a group of folks shooting the breeze behind the bar if they were serving today, after that got asked every 5 minutes if we needed anything? Food isn't something special, Fish and chips were both frozen and reheated in the deep fryer, the Shepard pie had lots of room for improvement...bland taste with some sort of over bearing spice we couldn't identify. Giving the place 3 Stars because of its decor, new and clean! Not a place I'd recommend for lunch....but a cold beer would be fine read more

A 5 star rating would be because of the Thanksgiving Day visit. Very nice and attentive bartender. There was a pot luck for customers. We didn't partake but the lone bartender was SO great. She took care of us and talked us thru the mixing of drinks for other people. She was very warm and personable. We returned the next night but she wasn't there. Our visit on Friday the 26th is the the rating of ONE star. We waited for several minutes and finally got noticed by the TWO bartenders. They acted angry and not interested in serving drinks. The man came to me and angrily asked If I had given the woman bartender the $20 to pay for a drink. He had been at the POS was told by her that I had payed for my drink. This seemed to be the same all along the bar after watching them. My group and the other couple near us experienced the same thing......... Angry Bartenders.... My niece has been a long time bartender at a high end steakhouse and hours visiting with her and her faithful customers has made me more aware of what should be done for everyone. Decent cheap food, and a nice selection of beers on tap you won't find in tomball. On thursdays they do big ass 23 oz beers, and its 2.75 domestic, 3.75 imports. They pick one beer of the night and it's 1.75. The past two times however, the choice was coors so...not worth it. Anyways, they have free play on ping pong, darts, shuffleboard, and even have a large jenga set. Pool tables in the back for a dollar. Service is pretty good, however, they don't have anyone on staff to check on tables so if its busy whatsoever then you have to get on the bar. The ping pong table room has a small bar but the bartender usually never checks in on that window, tending to the people that go straight to the center of the bar. Overall, great place for cheap, just wish they could hire a runner or two. read more

First time there today. Had a great experience and a great seat to watch the game. The bartender was awesome and she took care of me all afternoon. Ordered 12 of the best wings I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back. And I'm probably going to bring my wife. So she can be the designated driver. LOL! One thing I will say is they need to get the doors that go to the smoking patio fix so that they will close softly. It's a very loud noise when they slam shut cuz people are coming in and out constantly. That's the only negative about my experience. read more

Molly's is a local bar/restaurant. They have larger tables for bigger groups, a few pool tables and darts. The service is BAD. We have been with people with tabs just under $100, and they wouldn't give us another drink like 15 minutes until closing, the bartender said he made last call. We where standing maybe 5 feet from the bar, and most definitely heard no last call. The barhops are also exceptionally bad. Its really a shame, its a nice atmosphere, it is just ruined by the complete lack of service. Pitchers seem rather small, and the few times we have been could have fit another pint at least. Ok this apparently is a chain bar. Went with a bud on a rainy saturday around 7pm, place had plenty of seating , with booths, good for foursome , or a cozy date. Dark paneling as any Irish themed bar should have. service was good and genuine. started with a whiskey sour , no power, light on whiskey , no biggie moved to pitchers, no Bud Select :( , price for pitcher was average., TV's were behind the times, no big ones or flat screens I saw but I did not walk around the spacious place. did not order food, give it a C- but thats only with 1 visit. read more

Sent it back and never did get it back..... we were charged the rull price . If I were the manager I would have discounted the meals but I guess they want the money more than repeat customers. We tried it for the first time for game 6 of the World Series. The place is nice, and is pretty clean. Cleanliness is important to us all. The only 2 issues I saw was no paper towels in the bathroom and the ice buckets for stocking the bar looked pretty old and stained. We had draft Shiner and Tito's with Sprite. Drinks were fine. Bartender adequate, but anticipating our needs was lacking. We had Molly's fries and some nachos with ground beef to share. We sat bar top. Common sense told us that you need small plates to share nachos...no such sense available. So we enjoyed the food anyway. It was pretty dang good actually. There was probably 30 to 40 people in there,and I'd say majority were couples 40+. No larger groups, but it would be great for it. The burgers looked pretty good as well. We recommend the place, but prefer a place where the employees have more personality and higher level of customer service, attention, and energy. read more

Bartender had an attitude like she didn't want to be there and the waitress only seemed to come around after she saw us get our drinks from the bar.
