The two cleaners, Jena and Caidence did a terrible job. 2.5 hours and did not dust under bed, clean fan, clean windowsill and worst of all didn't sweep nor clean kitchen floor! I have been trying to reach the business at # 859-341-2110 NKY and of course they are not answering. I have been trying to find a house cleaner and decided I would try Molly Maid. I filled out an on-line quote and instead of giving me an actual estimate, I was requested to schedule an in-home walk through. I did the schedule, waited for over an hour and no one showed or called. I tried to call the number on the site and was told no one was available to take my call. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. I paid nearly $300 for a "Deep Clean / Move-Out" service for a 700 sq ft, empty home, and the results were unacceptable. Large areas looked completely untouched. There was still visible pet hair on the floors, cobwebs in corners, and multiple basic cleaning tasks were clearly skipped - this was nowhere near a true deep clean. It gets worse. Two items in my home were broken during the service. When we contacted customer service, the response was rude and dismissive toward my wife. Instead of taking responsibility, the only solution offered was to pay them more money to come back and fix their own work. They also hide behind a strict 24-hour reporting policy. If you don't report issues within that window, they won't help. For a move-out clean, that's completely unreasonable. Most people won't catch damage or missed work that quickly. It feels like a policy designed to avoid accountability rather than support customers. Between the poor quality of work, broken items, and unprofessional customer service, this experience felt like a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this company. read more

I had Molly Maid clean my house twice. Both times they did a bad job, with glaringly apparent things that were missed (not cleaning kitchen sink, not cleaning entire bathrooms, not vacuuming in multiple rooms, not emptying trash, etc). The customer service end of things was atrocious. Once I finally had someone call me back (after multiple texts with photos, and voicemails), he just attempted to gas light me about the job that was done. My neighbor showed me the house after it was cleaned and it was really dirty and gross. She just informed me that the manager called her a liar on the phone when she tried to get her money back even though she had photos of the bad job they did. They damaged her sink but told her that it was already damaged when they got there. We had scheduled Molly Maids to come do my sister's house before her baby shower next month and will deff be canceling that appointment. For anyone considering hiring them: they charge by the hour and not by completing the job so there are no refunds for the bad service read more

Really disappointed with this service. We scheduled a deep clean to take place before we put our house on the market to sell. We scheduled cleaners for the afternoon and the first two showed up at 10am due to a mixup/no response from the office. No big deal. They came back that afternoon - 4 cleaners that were there for no more than 2 hours. We have a clean, non cluttered home. So with 4 cleaners and 2 hours I would've expected to be able to eat off the floors... but no... and it cost $300 * A small snapshot of what was NOT done: Dusting light fixtures Wiping down spots on walls/cabinets Several windows Window sills Dusting furniture Rings on tub Grimy floors from whatever was used to mop I just can't understand what 4 women did in our house for 2 hours because it wasn't clean?? My partner, Nick's mother generously offered to pay for our new home to be cleaned by Molly Maid before we moved anything in. The house was 98% empty--I imagine making the job a lot easier and faster. We planned to be there when they were scheduled to clean on Thursday, October 3rd. They called us on Tuesday, October 1st to say they messed up scheduling and needed to come Wednesday, October 2nd instead. We couldn't be there, but since the house was empty, we just gave them the garage code. At first glance after they cleaned, the floors were swept and cleaned and a few other more obvious things. We didn't move anything in over the following two weeks while rooms were painted, carpets were cleaned, etc. On Thursday, October 17th, we started to notice unclean things like the blinds, fan blades, etc. The most unacceptable and disappointing thing was that the outside and inside of kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets and medicine cabinets were filthy. Some of them took five minutes to wipe down inside and out and some took much longer, but it was obvious there was no effort made. We paid a group we thought to be thorough professionals for a move-in cleaning so that we did not have to spend so much time cleaning before moving in our dishes, etc.  On Monday, October 25, around 8:30pm, Nick could not find a way to file a complaint through the website, so he filled out an estimate form, but left the comments I left above and said he needed someone to contact him about a refund. Someone immediately called Nick to give him a sales pitch about getting the house cleaned and had clearly not read the comments. Nick explained this to the employee and she said that she would have to have her manager contact him. It has been over a week and no one has tried to make any contact with him. This is completely unacceptable and inadequate customer service on top of the poor maid service we had already received. read more

Wish I would have checked the other reviews before booking this company. I sent them a checklist of items required for a move out clean of my house. They missed several items on the list even after confirming what they could and could not do, including mopping and basic sweeping (see pictures) as well as cleaning out window tracts. They also lied about time spent at my home. I sent them video from a neighbors ring doorbell and never got any more response except to keep sending the invoice (which I refuse to pay until we come to an agreement on a fair price for time actually spent as well as services actually rendered). We had good service in the beginning. Over time our cleaning teams was changed. Each new team was worst than the last. The last straw was when we were charged extra because my 72 year old husband suffered a fall and was confirmed to bed for several days and I canceled the day of the scheduled cleaning. When we complained we were treated rudely by Christopher over the phone. The irony is we were dinged for a late cancel but several times our cleaning time was moved later into the day so we had to adjust our plans to accommodate them. The guy on the phone asked if they should get into the stove, cabinets, and fridge as well. I said yes do it all. They did not clean the stove or the fridge. So my apartment had money docked from the deposit I was getting back. After contacting Molly Maid, I ended up on the phone with Christopher Saylor who argued with me that I wasn't allowing him to help me because I wasn't giving my apartment complex owner's information to him. and that I got what I paid for, but if I'm dissatisfied with the service they will come finish the cleaning, that I've already paid for, for "free". But I don't live there anymore, that's why I hired them. I just want some of my money back for this second charge I got from my apartment. I shouldn't have to pay you all to clean, then pay the apartment to clean the same place because you all didn't in the first place. Your cleaning service and customer service are both equally awful. I honestly never even got to use their service. I submitted a request for an estimate at 221pm. I got a call from a number that didn't leave a message at 228pm. I googled it and it came back Molly Maids. That number then called me again at 244p, 307p, 318p, and again at 330p. They never left a message. I finally picked up the last time and told them I was no longer interested in their service and to stop calling me. This was my first time using a house cleaning service.An agent of the company came to the house and met with me explaining service and cost.I was told they cleaned each room starting from the top and working down.The crew arrived at arranged time.I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The disappointment was with what was missed.Window ledges,top of door frames,top of the refrigerator and even a small spider web in the corner of the living were untouched.I called immediately after discovering the issues I had with the service. I was told they must have been overwhelmed although they only spent 2 hours cleaning.I was also told they would have the crew come back and go over what had been missed.The problem with their solution was it was going to take 3 days to get a crew back to the house. I paid $280 to have Molly Maids come out to the new home I was moving into and have it cleaned out after the old tenant moved out. I was told over the phone of all the services that were going to be done and figured $280 wasn't a bad price and I was willing to pay instead of cleaning the home myself because I have been so tied up with my job and my children. After molly maids came out to clean the home I went to start moving things in and realized they has not done what I was told was going to be done. Showers still had soap residue, counters had not been wiped down properly, inside of medicine cabinets still had hair and residue, bath tubs had not be properly cleaned, window seals were not wiped down the list goes on. I called Molly Maids to tell them how disappointed I was with the service they provided and they did offer to send someone out to redo the spots they missed... but at this point I would rather just do it myself. I would have asked for a refund if I wasn't super socially awkward so I guess I'll just loose the $280 and redo everything. Overall I wouldnt use Molly Maids for any cleaning services in the future, I feel like the house keepers who came out the clean the empty home I was moving into that "looked clean" as an opportunity to just glaze over everything and do a quick clean that wasn't adequate to what I paid for... read more

I tried Molly Maids out to help with keeping the house clean during my third trimester. The initial clean (which was $300) was great. After that, the cleans were all very surface. No ceiling fans, window sills, door jams, cabinets, or baseboards were dusted again; they just dust with a cloth and don't use any product so the dust just flies around. I thought maybe it was a one time thing and let it slide but it never improved. I called and complained and the same crew came out the next day to fix it. The following visit I had to re-mop, vacuum and windex my back sliding door. They offered to send someone out again but I didn't want to wait until the next day. My final time we switched days to try out a new cleaning team and I still had to redust, windex the back door, wipe down my kitchen cabinets, revacuum and mop again. This time I mentioned the overlooked areas to the team while they were there and they said " they did what they could" and drove off. They were more interested in hurrying out of there rather than taking pride of their work. I called the office and discontinued my service with them. They all are very personable but don't take pride in their work. The cleaning ladies I met seemed like they were on a tight schedule and not very happy.
