The inside is modern, clean, and cheerful. Every staff member I encountered was extremely kind. I was provided updates via the Live Well App and through texting leading up to my appointment with reminders, they had private changing rooms with lockers to lock personal belongings in, and had simple elements like light art on the ceiling to look at when having work done. I have very difficult veins and my nurse did an amazing job getting me prepped with minimal pain and bruising after. Very thankful I chose to come to this site for testing and will make it a point to schedule future tests needed here as I enjoyed my level of care.

Very convenient parking and the services here are smooth and efficient. If you know Lutheran General's parking, you will know that the convenient and close-by parking is a big advantage. It's located right next to the Advocate Outpatient Center but is technically considered an off site campus for the hospital. You can still smell the sawdust these days!

You can get in and out pretty quickly and the staff here is extremely fast and helpful. Nice bonus having Jarosch Bakery next door too, as you can grab coffee and a pastry after your test.

Being in an MRI is never comfortable by any means and when you are in pain it can be very painful to be in any position too long. The lab asked for a credit card during my first visit, explaining that this would only be used for whatever my insurance didn't cover. A month later I receive an email telling me that my visit was covered in-full by my insurance and there was no need to charge my card. Today when I visited they didn't ask for a credit card at all. Staff has always been super friendly. Location is very convenient. I suggest creating a Quest Diagnostics account online. Once you've done this you'll receive lab results via email. This is wonderful, especially if your Dr. office is slow to call you with the results. Would return again.

I scheduled the appointment, followed the instructions, picked up my brother and went to the Arlington Heights office. My brother has a difficult time with medical facilities, so it is challenging to say the least, but with some patience we always get it done-just requires some patience. I was told I needed to take the urine testing box home and complete it there and return another day to drop off. I explained I would prefer to complete it at the facility to avoid further trauma and anxiety to my brother and another trip. Tech repeated needs to be done at home, despite being given different information from customer service. My brother was gagging because he sensed my frustration, but I explained with my help, I could get the urine sample and would prefer to get it done that day. One of the woman even went to the extreme of saying so many people go in and out of the restroom and it may not be as clean as it would be to it at home. I gasped and repeated asking if cleaned after each patient. She replied yes, but concluded it would be better to do it at home. Clearly, we were the last appointment of the day and with my brother being special needs they believed leaving at closing time, 3pm wouldn't happen. I was confident and have collected urine samples for my brother before. I was extremely upset and frustrated because it was crystal clear customer service was not the priority here, but leaving at closing time was. Shame on these three women for turning us away instead of assisting and making life a little easier. I did report to Quest leadership and I hope it is addressed accordingly. I will never visit Quest again after this experience.

Incompetentence reigns here…read more My doctor sent me here for an MRI. I contacted my insurance company who initially approved the procedure. However, Open Advanced MRI was supposed to get final approval before proceeding. Unknown to me they didn't and did the MRI without it. My insurance company refused to pay, so they tried to get me to pay for their incompetence. I told them to go pound sand.

The place and intake staff were fine but the diamond in the rough was Paul my tech who had to administer a CT Scan. That scan consists of drinking a large glass of awful tasting liquid and having dye injected into your vein. Both very difficult for me to endure. However Paul, who was so competent, and also so kind and understanding made the situation more than bearable. With over 20 years in the business I found out that Paul has personally experienced the same test/s and what could be better than someone who has walked in your shoes. He will treat you with kid gloves and make your experience the best it can be which is why I had to post this review for him. Thank you so much Paul.
