Your time starts when you are at the table and the therapist start touching your skin/body! I like that! Not like any other massage studios when they took your time to undress, quick conversation about what area you need to work on and dressing time. I hate those massage studios. That means 60 minutes massage ended up being only 50 or 45 minutes. I have been coming here and my therapist James is amazing! If you need deep tissue massage James is it!!!

She listened very deeply and was able to work with all of the information that I conveyed to her, no matter how strange it was. Lana worked with me right where I was at. I've received a lot of energetic healing treatments in the past 10 years. One of the benchmarks of good work is whenever I receive energy work or body work is if it puts me to sleep. Lana knocked me out within minutes of beginning. I found myself in an interestingly deep dream state. Becoming conscious in moments and in a dreamscape in others. At one point I felt her working on my head, and without touching me I felt the distinct feeling of heat lamps on top of my head. When I began to wake, Lana was there smiling at me. We were both in a bit of a dream/trance state at the end of the session, but she was able to tell me an incredibly vision of what she'd seen while working on me. What she told me was so personally accurate and true to my journey it really lit me up. One very interesting piece is that she conveyed that she was working with a Lion spirit guide that was working with me. Over the next week, almost every day I found myself in front of some giant effigy of a lion, from giant ads, to statues, to toys... Lion images popping up everywhere... something that has confirmed for me what she reported to me. On a physiological experience, I noticed that after days of being on my phone, my fingertips were feeling incredibly sensitive and agitated from touching the phone screen so much. In that hour with her, that feeling was completely gone and has remained gone for a week. I have also become aware of what was happening to my fingertips, and am taking measures to avoid touching the screen as much. It's been a little while, though, and I was in need, in crisis mode and I reached out to the Reiki community and Lana reached back I am so thankful to Lana for the powerful and effective Reiki treatment I received from her. Having recently been in a car accident, I suffered nerve-related injuries to my shoulder. I came to her frustrated and in considerable pain. She instantly made me comfortable in her beautiful treatment space. The luxury of receiving a hands-on session from someone who is so clearly a gifted healer was like a late birthday present from the Reiki faeries! The session was electric. I could feel my nerves popping throughout my body (in a good way). I quickly slipped into a half-dream state and could feel my frustrations floating away. There were two very big issues I had with acupuncture; not the acupuncture itself which did ease stiffness the in my knee but, it then slowly came back about a month later, no, just the fact that for one, I really do not like to be touched by strangers and second, needles of any size make me queasy. My doctor then suggested I look into trying Reiki. I found several places in Oregon that caught my interest, one type of Reiki in particular called "distance Reiki" sounded best to me since again, I do not like to be touched. Reiki, in general, is normally a "hands on" therapy I gather? I found Falling Waters Reiki almost a year ago in a Google search. I did a lot of research before contacting anyone to find out if "Distance" Reiki is even a valid thing. Falling Waters Reiki stood out to me because I didn't have to book a session in person or on the phone but was able to do it through her website. Wendy was very thoughtful and very informative when I emailed her several questions before I decided to book a 3 month service through her website. She was very detailed in all that was going to happen and spent way more time interacting with me than I expected her too. She even followed up with me a few days after the first session and I wasn't expecting that. Since she specialized only in "distance" Reiki that worked out perfectly for me. For the first few weeks nothing seemed noticeable with my knee then about 4 days ago I realized I hadn't taken any pain medicine for an entire week. I have literally lived on ibuprofen for the last two years for various "pains". I understand that results for holistic practices can vary or might not work at all as was explained to me. However, thinking about it, the same can be said for ALL types of medicinal therapies and treatments not just holistic ones. Sometimes even "traditional" therapy and medicine simply do not work, I am proof of that! So I am willing to stick it out for now with Reiki as it works for my personal situation and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and service I have received thus far.
