I then took it again to fly back to LAX and there were 7 passengers total. Both times they were the nicest pilots and copilots. Excellent in take off and landings. They fly a little lower than usual commercial planes which was cool because I can see all the places we passed along the way. I would definitely take this route again and use this airline mostly because of the friendly staff and it's affordable too!

Parking was sufficient and they a had a decent sized lot for those who were leaving their car. I believe its about $30 to leave your car in the lot. The airport is small and it was not busy. We checked in on the kiosks and paid for our checked bag. Upon checking in our bag, we were given zip ties to tie the zippers together. (We were told this is because the airport in Mexico City has a high crime rate and there are many thefts between the baggage handlers.) Check in and baggage drop off took about 10 minutes. Security was a breeze and we didn't even have to take off our shoes. They do have a market past security and we were able to buy snacks and drinks for the flight. The plane arrived on time and the boarding process was smooth. We did have to board the plane outside and climb up some wobbly stairs to do so. Kind of scaryyy. Employees were friendly and the airport was clean. I would definitely fly out of here again if need be. Oh and we did not have to pay anything extra for permits etc.

I loved the wallpapers around the airport. It felt welcoming and made me feel like I was already experiencing the scenic views without having to step out of the airport. I enjoyed the touches of clouds on the ceiling at the ticket counter and their bathrooms were very clean. Small airports like these are great because you're in and out I don't have such a long comment yet to and from the gate to the baggage claim and to the car rental.

HAL and AS are still doing their best to merge flights, airport gates, luggage issues, check-in and all those issues that may have been different before the merger. Let's just start by saying you must be PATIENT, with no expectations of how it "used to be." Tried to use my miles for the round trip flight from Oahu to PS and the app said no flights available. When I switched to dollars then all the flights popped up. Had to catch HAL from Oahu and transfer to AS in Seattle. The gates are NOT CLOSE TOGETHER YET (this is June 2025) so be prepared to find the tram subway to take you to an entirely different terminal. I had to take two to get there. Luckily I made my connecting flight on time, but if they had changed it I would have been in deep kim-chi. Then from AS gate to fly to Palm Springs - we boarded a tiny aircraft maybe 75 seats was a full load. The upper cabinets are smaller than HAL so if your carryon is slightly larger than make sure it can maneuver itself into the space. I saw hard cases being scratched while being pulled out. The seats are not as comfy as HAL- even the extra comfort seats. And they do NOT offer free wi-fi like HAL. Since it was a short flight we had a quick beverage service- only apple juice or water (no coffee or tea) offered and a snack pack of pretzels which flight attendant kept telling each row it is spicy so be careful. No tv screens in front of you either, so not sure if this is only because it's a smaller plane for the shorter flights. No complimentary magazine like HAL has either. Flight attendants were very professional and knew their stuff. Pilots communicated well and perfect take off and landing. It was a good first experience but hoping they get their gates closer together soon. I would suggest checking online the airport map you're heading to for a recon how far away it could be for your connecting flights.

Yes you could take public transportation to and from the desert to LA. Didn't even know that was a thing until a couple of months ago. It save your sanity with sitting in traffic not moving. As least this way, you have a reason but to just relax and sit there. It's a good concept and people do utilize it. Also PS airport has a good rental area. They're all pretty much nearby each other so you don't have to drive around trying to find the kiosk. Rental pickup is outside where you find the car yourself but it's pretty simple. Same as returning it. Not only it's an international airport, it's small and easy to maneuver and find your way. Way less stress than the major airport in town and you can get in and out without the crazy traffic. It's a win win. Oh, a lot of the airport is outside and it's beautiful.

My most recent trip LAX to Hartford plane delayed 8 hours due to @JETBLUE grounding our plane in LA for mechanical problems thus hotel room booked was a complete waste of $$$'s as i arrived at 4:30am. @jetblue did give me travel credit of 150 per ticket but refused hotel re-imbursement for that night. Fair enough as we realize stuff happens and if erroring on the side of safety i get it but not getting the hotel fee? This delay was on @jetblue not the weather or anything else. Their plane their issue. Now the return trip. We are arriving back at LAX and plane is not cleared to land so needed to circle back to land and thane this, "We have been diverted by Air traffic control but now have been approved to land. However we are concerned we do not have enough fuel if diverted a 2nd time. So we will fly to Ontario Ca. fuel up and come back to LAX." How do you fly from east coast to LAX and not have enough fuel to complete the trip. Seems somewhere a choice was made by someone to not add enough fuel to the plane and we didn't get home until 2:30am? Didn't book red eye flights but both trips ended up being so! Guessing @jetblue makes these flights every day right? not enough fuel? Needless to say my experience was miserable and unfortunate not sure i will ever use those points and probably will never fly this airline ever again. @jetblue your decision to not re-imburse the hotel and not put enough fuel in your plane on my return trip was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Ubers were going for $236 and I was trying to see if I could get something cheaper. I saw Mom's Rides was available 24/7 so I figured I could give them a call since I needed to figure out a ride situation in less than 24 hours. I called around 10:53PM and she was nice over the phone telling me to send me send the addresses over so she can give me a quote. She recommended I look elsewhere if I'm looking for a cheaper ride so when I told her I would, she got upset with me and sent me this long message. Good luck to anyone asking for a quote!
