Aesthetically pleasing interior with comfy bench seating by the window for guests stopping by for drinks and a bite. We were only here for our morning coffees and ordered cappuccinos which were smooth and refined. Wish it came in a larger size though because what was served did leave us wanting for more but this is likely the norm for cappuccino servings in Belgium which we learned from the other coffee orders during our stay.

Strangely enough, one my best meals on my trip to Belgium was a plate of tomatoes at a coffee shop. Mok is a hip, sparse coffee shop just west of Saint Catherine within view of the river. I wasn't there for coffee, though they do have appetizing options like flat whites and they carry oat milk. I needed a pre-flight snack, so I ordered their daily vegetable plate (11 euro), couer de bouef (a.k.a. beefheart) tomatoes and strawberries. When my plate arrived with just straight up tomatoes and strawberries on it, I was a little concerned, though it was pretty. However, these were the most tender and delicious tomatoes I've had in quite a long time. It ended up working really well with the juicy scattered strawberries and blueberries, all united with high quality olive oil, hits of thyme and lemon, and generously applied mystery spicy-and-salty seasoning. I usually try to stay away from tomatoes as I'm acid-sensitive (and I'm still not sure what possessed me to order this beyond a trip sorely lacking in vegetables), but I ate absolutely all of this. Of great help was a complimentary side of grilled and crusty bread to sop up the juices, oil, and spices. It wasn't too busy in the early afternoon on a weekday. Service was great and I got my food quickly. The space is modern and #aesthetic. Recommended not just for a cup but for a bite as well!

Gorgeous interior design, minimalist. Excelent coffee... Also one can get the 'coffee of the day", which is seasonal filter coffee and get one free refill. A big downside is the fact that the kitchen closes after 14:30. The food looks good tho, very aesthetically pleasing.

This coffee shop is such a gem in this neighborhood. My boyfriend and were staying close by and just walked by. Their coffee is superb! Their food is also amazing. We both had an avocado toast, so good. The employees here are also so friendly, we had such a nice conversation with an employee too. They only take cards not cash just an FYI!

My wife's avocado toast is "the best she's ever had." The cheese toast with the fermented onion ketchup hit the spot.

Like every other restaurant in Belgium, you pay for a small surcharge for dining in. I opted for this option because I wanted to be able to enjoy my breakfast. My friend and I placed the following orders: a bottled beer (yes, for breakfast), omelette with cheese, salmon quiche, and today's soup (two options but I chose the tomato soup). The omelette (7 euros) was delicious and came with a side of salad. It's cheesy (as it's supposed to be) and delicious. The tomato soup was nothing special but only costed 4 euros and I got so much bread with my soup! Worth it. The salmon quiche (5.1 euros) was okay but filling. The beer (3.4 euros) was absolutely tasty and a perfect complement to breakfast. We spent about 20 euros on the breakfast for two. Definitely on the pricey side of things but at least it was a good meal. Service was very friendly! Staff spoke English very well.

The cafe is quite big, with a good size seating arrangement away from the counter. A big selection meets you as soon as you walk through the doors, and walking along the display of cakes, pastries, and breads will lead you to a glass window through which you can see the deliciousness being made by the baker. They also have a good selection of sandwiches, small pizzas, and such. Staff is friendly and attentive. Have not had to wait here at all, rather it is the staff that has to wait for me to make up my mind: "...one of this..uhh no no wait this, no uh... Maybe both... And also one of those... And a coffee, a large one... Oooooo and what's this!" - Paul's selection will make you very indecisive. Please note however that everything is about 10-20 cents more if you sit in the cafe instead of taking it to go.
