A good place to get coffee. There were a lot of choices in terms of coffee beans but the barista helped us out with getting something we liked. There weren't any seats in the store but a table for you to stand and enjoy your coffee. I got their latte with the Costa Rica bean which was yummy and it was served with a cookie.

Finding a good Indie coffee shop in Bruxelles, a City of Beers was not an easy task. Should I have a bottle of beer or a cup of Cappuccino for breakfast? Not an easy decision as that Cappuccino probably cost more than a beer.... Corica though worth a visit if you are longing for a well balanced shot of espresso. Here you can customized your java from a list of beans from around the World. That's definitely impressive! Espresso? Ristretto Espresso? Macchiato? Mocha Latte? Just love the latte art. The barista was so enthusiastic even shown me all photos of the wonderful latte art he made in his smartphone! Corica also roasted their beans in house! Oh that intoxicating aroma of freshly roasted and grounded beans! PS If you don't like coco powder in your coffee, please let the barista know since he use coco powder as a contrasting background for latte art.

In search of good coffee, found it! Freshly roasted beans and plenty of choices - Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya, et. al. Make it your daily cupping if possible. A must when you're in Brussels.

All I can say is that this place is a coffee lovers dream. This isn't a coffee shop that you simply walk into and order a coffee because they actually have over twenty different types of beans to choose from which basically means you actually need to know what type of bean you want if you want your perfect coffee. Fortunately the owners know their coffee, and know it really well, and will be able to connect you with the right bean for the right coffee. This isn't just a coffee shop this is a coffee master, or more to the point, a coffee alchemist. You don't like coffee, well they also have a pretty decent selection of teas as well, and once again they can point you to some pretty decent stuff. Definitely a place to check out if you want some good coffee, or tea for that matter.

You like coffee? Espresso? This is a must stop in Brussels for a morning stop or an afternoon pick me up. The individuals working behind the counter are very knowledgeable about coffee. They were able to suggest a particular espresso for me based off of my preferred taste in coffee. I liked it so much, I purchased a bag of coffee to take home with me back to the States.

More than 20 different home-roasted coffees available for consumption on the spot or for take-away. Try the Ethiopia Harar, best consumed as a doppio.

Perfect example of a well throughout display of a cafe that serves unimaginably the most varying choices of coffee around the world. Simply an amazing experience, and I could not have been happier by my cup of excellent Ethiopian Cafe Au Lait. Well done!

I didn't have many expectations going into this other than drinking a cup of coffee while someone talked to me. Looking at the website, it seemed like a big, soulless company that sells mostly to restaurants and supermarkets, but I was SO impressed. When I walked in, late, Francois introduced himself and talked about the history of the company and how their business works. He was kind enough to take two hours of his time with our small group and to explain everything in both French and English so that I could understand. This is their second location that they just opened a few months ago. I was shocked to hear that he's the fourth generation of his family to run this coffee roaster, which was started by his great grandfather in the 1800s. Based on how big the company was, I didn't expect for it to still be family owned. What a delight! The way this shop works is really cool. They have many different coffees and blends already roasted, so you can buy any of those in bulk. Then they had five or six giant bags of green coffee beans, and you can customize those to get your own personal roast. For example, you can either do a single-source roast, or specify the percentage you want of each kind of bean. Then, you specify the roast and the power (which means how long it takes to get to the level of roast you want). The shop keeps track of the specifications, so that you can order the same thing again. Or even better, if you don't love it, you can basically call and do a consultation of whether it was too light/dark, too acidic, etc, and they will tweak the formula for your next batch until it's perfect. Both in the cafe, and at home, the coffee was incredible. They've definitely won me over as a loyal customer. I didn't know this type of service existed anywhere! It is pricey, but after seeing the precision that goes into all of it, I'm convinced it's worth the price.
