We love Mojo Photo Booth. I was a part of the wedding and the wedding was literary planned in like less than a month. 3 days before the wedding... the bride was like "it will be so cool if we have a photo booth for my wedding." I immediately contacted the vendor provided by the wedding coordinator. I told them I know its so very last minute but the photo booth was a must! They called me the following day and after the rambling of last minute thing, transportation, blah, blah, blah... they quoted me for $1000 for 4 hours. That rate was ridiculous. I then contacted Mojo (a friend of mine mentioned their name from a previous event that they had). Sebastian, the owner, made it happened and gave me a good deal. The photo booth was a hit and everyone went home with a fun memory of the wedding. Thanks Mojo. BTW, The techs that came to set up and help us with the booth was very accommodating and with the looks to die for. read more

Actually a 0 star review... I booked these people (was definitely not a real company) for an event and had a hell of a time trying to confirm any type of details with who I assume was one of the owners. It took weeks to get replies back and their voicemail was always full so there was no way I was able to even talk to anyone live until they finally call back much later. With my event, I did not want anything to go wrong and definitely did not want any unprofessionalism to deal with. It's a special event and who needs more stress, right? I had the Living Social $199 for 2 hour voucher which seemed to be a negative according to the owner I spoke with. He was very hesitant to keep me booked on the day I wanted (2 months ahead of time mind you) once he heard it was a voucher I was redeeming. Also, he started added charges such as Tax on top of the voucher that I had already paid for through Living Social. How do you add tax after you purchase a voucher??? Also, a magical travel fee was 'waived' if I were to add another hour at the regular rate of $200/hour. Wasn't sure where that travel fee was in the first place but hey, it would be waived to make you feel better about doubling your bill. No contract forms were sent or signed, No verbal confirmation was made on the date or final price, No details were made about package deals on Scrapbooks or Attendant fees, No nothing was never discussed about nothing and/or nothing. Make sense? I hope it doesn't then you will know how I felt the entire time trying to set up these guys for our party. After about a month of ridiculous one-sided communication, I canceled these yahoos and went with another company at full price. The professionalism of this other company (notice that they are not just 'guys') was very apparent and how a business should be run. Mojo is just a couple of 'guys' that bought a photo booth and thought it would make them a few bucks on the side of their regular jobs/businesses. After I canceled, I went to Living Social to tell them that these guys are yanking everybody's chains and that they should be wary of doing business with these guys again. Living Social graciously gave me a full refund for my voucher and wrote up a report on the Mojo scam. I have nothing but respect for Living Social and will continue to buy from them. Mojo......not so much. Also, look at all these fake and filtered reviews on this Yelp site and you will see what these guys will go through to boost business. The only real review seems to be Gina R.'s and it's a 1-star. I can't believe some people. Anyway, do not use these guys. Pay the $$$ and get a real company to deal with. I hate writing negative reviews but I am just trying to lower their 4 star rating average that they currently have. No way that's accurate. read more

These guys are AWFUL! Terrible communication, very shady business practices. I wouldn't trust them to do anything related to an important event. My fiance and I purchased a LivingSocial deal - $200 for two hours. Sounds like a great deal, right? Turns out, they wouldn't honor it unless we purchased additional time at a rate of $200 per hour, plus fees, taxes and gratuity. I'm thrilled with the service I received from Mojo Pasadena! I called only a week and half before my event (a high school prom) and inquired about availability. I told them my budget and that I was interested in three hours. They met my budget, provided a two-page contract, and delivered everything as promised. A very professional gentleman arrived at our venue on time, set up with his attendant, and manned the photo booth the entire night. He was accommodating and kind. They had also customized the header of the photo strips with my requested text and a background image that matched our prom invitations. All in all, my students LOVED the photo booth, it was a huge hit, and they loved the tons of great props to work with. I was thrilled with Mojo Pasadena and would definitely recommend them if you're looking for an added activity/entertainment at an event. I was skeptical after reading the initial reviews. But my hubby had purchased the living social deal, so we took a chance and booked them for our wedding date. At first they were not very responsive, but as we got closer to the wedding date, we were able to get reconfirmation. They didn't try to add any extra hours, but did offer for a very nominal fee copies of all photos in hard copy and digital format. To my great delight, they showed up and brought props! The guys were really cool, fun and easy to talk to. Our guests had a great time with the booth and we did too. I love having these funny photos! read more

We used them for our end of the 8th grade dance and it was highly popular with the students! Definitely worth the money! I bought the special through living social and had no idea what to expect. The showed up on time, granted they took about 20min to set up they didn't start the two hour time frame until he was completely ready. The photo booth itself was really spacious inside. I think it fit about 10 people at one point. The props they bring along are tons of fun. It was for my cousin's quinceañera and everyone loved it! Will definitely use this company for future events! I used their services on a last minute basis and I was beyond pleased with their service. I can't believe I was almost not going to have them at our wedding. What happened was I heard about this photo-booth a few months before my wedding through a living social deal. I immediately tried to contact them but they were not available to do our wedding for the time I needed them. I was supper bummed because I was not going to be able to afford another photo-booth. This is one of those things I really wanted for my wedding and I was not going to have period (or so I thought). Here is were the magic happens. Literally the day before my wedding (while picking up my gown) I get a call from Michael at Mojos telling me they got more photo-booths and he came across my info and if I was interested in having them for our event....and given the situation he would honor the living social deal for us. OMG!!!! YES!!!YES!!! Yessss!. He got my info over the phone, emailed me a confirmation and the next day he was there ready to go. The photo-booth itself is very spacious, and the green background we used was interesting.The props were fun and for some reason at the end of the night I came across two of the props left behind. I let her know I was comparing prices, and as soon as I let her know about another company I was considering going with and their competing price, she immediately dropped her price $50 below the competitors price. this company is a complete joke and waste of time. i purchased my booth from them paid credit card right away. my booth arrived with a cracked front panel that's fine they will replace i got the new one few days later but had to cancel my first event because of the delay. when it arrived i got stuck paying more duty then originally quoted. then i get it put together to find out i was missing the roof. they wanted to charge me for it yah right you dick heads never sent it. once again had to pay more duty. then noticed the battery pack for the camera doesn't work go figure more duty. my printer only has 174 prints on it and mojo will not help me out one bit they said " quote" nothing we can do call hiti i call hiti they promised to send me a new one if i sent back the original because of the hardly time of use. called hiti back with information they needed to process rma and they do not remember even talking to me. looooosers. so i call mojo as they sold me the printer and the booth and guess what same answer nothing we can do but we can sell you a new one. needless to say stay away when my wife called the person named ken was a rude ass and be littled her. read more

Hired them for 3 hrs for my goddaughter's wedding. They showed up early to set up and was ready to roll when the guests arrived for the reception. There were plenty of props to choose from; everyone had a blast! With 260 guests, they kept the line moving; ran smoothly. Quality of the pictures is excellent, clear and vibrant. Love that they were able to match the graphic and font type of the wedding souvenir so it tied everything together. My goddaughter and her husband got a nice scrapbook with a copy of all the pictures that the guests signed; and also received a memory card with a copy of all the photos taken. Had no problems with communication. Whenever I called or sent email, I always got a response. After the wedding, they posted the photos on their website within a few days. I had researched a few other photobooth rental places prior to hiring Mojo Photobooth for my wedding last October..and they gave me the most reasonable price. A friend of mine also hired them for her wedding and we both were very happy with our decision! They arrived on time, they had an awesome variety of props (and in good condition!), and they were very friendly. I was saddened I didn't get the chance to take pics with my groom because we were so busy all night ...but, I have been highly recommending them to friends and family..and I'm sure at our next party I will make sure to take pictures!! Everyone at the party had tons of fun and even now- 3 months after the wedding- people are still talking about how fun the photobooth was! The picture quality was also great and they give you the option to choose your background and header. You also get the flash drive of all pictures that were taken..and I got an album with some of the duplicates (some people didnt leave their duplicate copies but that's what the flash drive is for..).
