I had a hot stone and mud massage with Damaris. I had a lot of tension and my masseuse experience was wonderful. I'm not sure if the mud is worth it because it just felt like lotion. The hot stone was appreciated. After my massage, I had a facial with Hazel. I added the microdermabrasion and did not regret. Hazel was fun and helpful. My face was glowing after the facial. I got to enjoy some wine and cheese prior to check out, which was a nice touch. The Only odd thing was during my check in, I was expecting someone to ask about the current products I use so there are no interactions with the facial products. Places like this need to offer a certain standard so patrons know this is synonymous with relaxation, class and autonomy. I am a person that overthinks even when it is time to turn off and get a massage. First time I got Camille I was banged up something bad. Shoulders were touching the ears type stress. I was blessed to be matched with her and she is literally a doll. I gave her brief direction on what was needed and it was like I never needed to speak. There was no option anywhere in the booking system to apply a gift card as a payment method, and there was also no comments section to explain the situation. I assumed it wouldn't be an issue and that the payment could simply be adjusted on the day of the appointment. Two hours before my scheduled massage I was asked if I could reschedule. I was happy to accommodate and didn't mind the change. On the day of the appointment, my therapist was friendly. However, during my prenatal massage she provided a lot of unsolicited advice throughout the session, which made it difficult to fully relax at a time in pregnancy when relaxation is especially important. Still, I was willing to overlook that part of the experience. The real issue happened at checkout. I was told I could not use my gift card for the service because the appointment had been marked as "prepaid." When I explained that their online booking system doesn't provide any option to apply a gift card, there was no willingness to adjust the payment or offer any kind of accommodation. Situations like this raise concerns about poor booking systems, lack of customer flexibility, and business practices that ultimately leave customers stuck with gift cards they cannot use as expected. Customer service and long-term client relationships don't seem to be a priority here. Unfortunately, this experience ensured that I won't be returning and the gift card meant to bring in a new customer ended up doing the opposite.

For the cons- the massages were extremely weak, definitely did not receive a Swedish massage by any means- felt like someone learning how to just massage with oil. Even after putting that my preferred pressure was medium/deep. The massage bed felt like a piece of plywood- there was no cushion to it at all. The room was dirty upon walking in, there was a used towel on the floor and my fiancé's face pillow had hair on it- there was also a stain AND it didn't screw in properly so we didn't even put his face on it. TBH it smelled like the room was recently used- like that oil smell, and it wasn't cleaned thoroughly after. Overall- we just got off a plane so we looked for something quick but we would likely not return due to the quality of the massage.
