Decorated in red and white IKEA furtniture with a vespa parked in a display case, this bar, pizzeria and restaurant is located inside the Sigonella Inn.
We order take out from here and they are always very accommodating even going as far as preparing dishes that are not on the menu!
We have tried the Pasta a la Norma which is a red sauce and eggplant over noodles. I had a Fetuccini dish prepared with mushrooms and ham and also tried it with just tomatoes. My hubby tried the tuna and said it was okay, but he's not a big tuna fan anyway.
Freindly service and large selection on the menu. For $20 euro we got two great pasta dishes to go with some bread.
It was nice since they were open on Christmas Day serving up pizzas like Pistacchio, mozzarella and bacon or Nduia which is pomodoro (tomato) mozzarella, mushrooms and salame (nduia).
Lots of pasta dishes to choose from like Linguine ai ricci di mare (Linguini with sea urchins), swordfish pasta, salmon pasta, seafood pasta, pistacchio cream pasta, tuna pasta, and a few other pasta al pomodoro types. Lots of steak, fish, shrimp dishes too.
Some appetizers which start at 9 euro include strips of smoked horse meat and caprese salad, Misto fritto, calamari and focacce are other items to find on the menu.
Beers include Moretti (2 euro) Heineken (3 euro) and Corona (4 euro) Limoncello for only 3euro, Red Bull, and my favorite Italian Lemon soda, Several wines to choose from the local wineries like Gambino are served here too.
