Places that were so very special with a changing kaleidoscope of interesting and unusual clothing that people from all over the region sought them out. I'd thought that experience was lacking here until we found Yellow Taxi Vintage on Laurel Street in Springfield. Here were the same thoughtfully presented items that represented days gone by. Days of style, studied composition and exotic fabrics. Things made when life seemed to move a little slower, and allowing real attention to details of each piece. As you enter this store you'll see a vast, colorful selection of items of all eras displayed with care and designed to give curious browsers a taste of images and unique clothing items and accessories to whisk you to a new look. There are clothes for every look, and since we are talking vintage, from times, designers, and of fabrics just not seen everyday. Items born of and formed by people who really cared about delivering true quality. The owner, Rebecca, has a great eye for items to present in her store, and the sensibility to make these prizes a virtual bargain! Visit, and treat yourself to a great time, and meet new friends. In shopping center on main road. Prices are reasonable for the end user but I overheard a couple say "it's high here" as they scanned an item with their phone. So it may not be a reseller haven. It was hot in the store but that's to be expected when it's in a shopping center most times. Not much to pick through so we left empty handed.
