Horrible experience!…read more I have a 2015 F250 diesel truck. I contacted Xtreme Performance & Sound to install an EGR delete kit on my truck. During research, I found that this process takes 2-4 hours tops. I ended up being billed for over 9 hours of service. XPS claimed that the EGR delete kit was not compatible with the truck, but that they made the kit work. Umm, NO. The kit was purchased from Rudy's, spec'd out for my truck. Everything from the kit bolted on to the truck perfectly. Kits have 5 pieces total - 3 block-off plates, and two hoses. There was no modification necessary, nothing complciate After returning home from XPS, I was inspecting the work. The hose on the front coolant reservoir was pinched, and was ran through my truck very poorly. This was maybe a 15-minute fix. The next day, I started experience error codes being thrown on my tuner. These error codes prevented me from being able to use my remote start (this all occurred in February of 2016. When I called XPS to question the codes, they told me that as you start making modifications like this to your vehicle, issues like this will start happening. Umm, NO again! Not if you perform the work correctly! TONS of people have performed these modifications with no issues. Upon researching the issue further, I discovered that XPS disconnected a sensor that they should not have. I made a slight modification to house the sensor, reconnected the sensor, and the issue went away. I would NOT recommend XPS. Once your vehicle is out of their shop, they do not care. I feel as though they knew nothing about this procedure, despite claiming otherwise over the phone.
