The scheduling lady on the phone was sweet and friendly which was another reason why I picked this office. Parking here was easy and plentiful. Since then he's moved locations to the building down the street, the office is bigger and more updated that his previous location. The staff is REALLY friendly, instead of calling me to the window for my information the receptionist walked out with a clipboard and handed it to me while taking my insurance card and picture ID. Seldom have I ever seen this happen at a doctor's office. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment and was out in an hour and a half, which was great, they don't double book. I was called in 30 mins after check in, the nurse took my vitals and weighed me. The ONLY thing that sucked was the blood pressure machine (automatic one) it has a death grip! Very friendly nurse, everyone knows how much it sucks to be weighed... It's like you're being put on trial, any ways she was super relaxed and chill. I was put in the room to wait for the doctor, roughly 10-15 mins later he came in. Dr. Mora is very thorough and spends a great deal of time with each patient. He's very caring and offers alternatives to whatever your ailment is. Check out is a breeze since everything is digital he had all my prescriptions ready to go as soon as he exited the room.

Our family doctor recommended Dr. Levy. Whoever picked up the phone was either having a bad day, or is in a competition for rude, condescending, and unprofessional receptionists. This woman was short and abrupt and when I explained that I had been told to get my husband in within the week, she laughed in the cattiest, rudest manner I have ever experienced in a professional setting and informed me that there are no appointments available for 1-2 months so "that's not happening." Any question I asked seemed to be the biggest imposition on her day and I was answered rudely EVERY. TIME. I was taken aback by her manner. I was finally told to get with my family doctor and "figure out what's going on, OKAY???" in such a nasty voice I thought I was watching a soap opera. I have absolutely no problem being told that a specialist is booked. I don't expect to be pampered like a princess, or have anyone bow down at my feet. Pleasant, Professional and Patient seems to be the theme permeating this office. But I was seen first by his P.A. or Nurse Practitioner, Annie, who conducted an initial in-depth assessment, thoroughly reviewing my situation and history and asking pertinent questions. AND she was, unsurprisingly, pleasant, professional and patient. Having been aware of Dr. Chizner's training and accomplishments I expected to be a bit intimidated, but despite the white-coat-syndrome-on-steroids with all the pros in their white coats, I was comfortable with him from the start. It was interesting to see the teaching that was going on as he conducted his assessment and it was clear that he has great rapport with his students as he frequently made eye contact with them to highlight a point or observation. The bottom line is that virtually immediately he identified the likely cause of my complaints which have persisted for years. No tests, no labs, no scans. Just simply his inquiry into my symptoms and history. This after the previous usual suspects of echo's, ekgs and so on having been inflicted on me which provided no guidance into explaining my situation.
